We visited this restaurant on a weekday and it was not too crowded. This is halal restaurant. We were lucky to find this restaurant in Cardiff bay. The ambience of the restaurant was awesome and it is very spacious. You will find south Asian food here and non-veg dishes are really good. We ordered chicken pakora, chicken biryani, chilli chicken with naan. All the food items ordered were tasty. You can bring kids here. No alcohol served here. Staff is very friendly and courteous. Remember to mention the level of spiciness you need while you are placing the order. Please note his restaurant opening hours are for from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.

We ordered a curry with them this week. We'd had a long day and fancied a treat so we ordered a feast. We'd ordered shahi paneer, paneer Tikka masala, saag paneer and chicken shashlick and every single dish came out coated in oil. Even the shashlick had a layer of oil. It felt more like a meal we had to endure, rather than enjoy. We wrote to the management through their website as I don't like to do these publicly in the first instance, but since we have been ignored, here are some pictures of our food from that evening. Only gave a two star because we ordered food from here about a month ago and it was very nice. Not sure why it has suddenly gone so oil heavy.

I went here for did and it was good. Although of one problem they quickly resolved it. The food was flavourful and juicy. The prices were impeccable to beat.i had one problem they they know about bit were very understanding. The staff were friendly and always offered to help.The desert was the BEST very nice and creamy ice cream.once at the desk to pay they offered us a refreshing mint. As a Pakistani I can clarify that this is a authentic Asian restaurant. Would come here again always recommend ❤❤❤❤❤

New Management, same shortcut food. Samosa chat was mostly chole sabji. Struggled to find Aloo in Aloo paratha Chicken Tikka were just the same dry pieces on a hot plate. Portion size is good.

I ordered the chicken tikka and the food was extremely dry, the seating was okay but the lights were very dusty and we ended up having a fly in our Mango Lassi. The biryani was tastless and flavourless. I wouldn’t recommend going there because its overpriced and isnt worth the food. There is a buffet or another halal pizza express with better food, would recommend that instead of this dog food

Food was decent nothing special. We ordered a jug of lassi and it was so watered down it was barely a lassi anymore. The very annoying thing was they refused to give tap water due to “covid” which is against the law. Every licensed restaurant is required by law to provide tap water considering we all ordered round of drinks first anyways. The staff were very nice and welcoming but wouldn’t be returning here again.

Very nice under new management. Really enjoyed the fish pakoras and lamb Karahi. If your looking for desi food this is the place to go

If you're in Cardiff Bay, cross the road, go through the Dragon Centre and it's just across the car park. Best food around, everything is cooked to perfection. Staff are friendly. You won't want to miss this one.

We sat in before going bowling for a quick meal. Was blown away by the friendly and efficient staff, quick service, tables cleaned straight away, informative. The value for money was amazing too. Had the 4 person platter & delicious Mango lassi for just over £40! Will definitely be returning.

The food was average and overpriced. Biryani was the only thing that was any good. I wouldn't recommend this place for it's ambience or food.

First time I've visited Zaika. As usual went out with the family, we ordered chicken tikka which was so soft and the lamb karahi was really nice too. The food was really nice, the staff were really good and helpful. Definitely recommend this restaurant!!

Good was good specially naan breads. Place was freezing cold looks like heating issues.

Beautiful ambiance and tasty food. Great Pakistani resturent in cardiff. One of the best. Kids love mango lassi.

Its an asian restaurant in cardiff city. We ordered one family platter consist of 6 nun 6 postions of chips, akmi polau all kebab items on chicken mutton and lamb. We also ordered butter chicken and chicken tikka. For 6 people it costs 82 gbp.. for my analysis it is ok. Overall test wise i would give 4 out of 5 for platter. Since in platter they only provide one portion of gravy which may not be sufficient. Management may look into this. But overall very good restaurant well behaved service..recommended

The best south Asian food I've had in a restaurant over the last few years. Food tastes good when you are hungry! This was not the case when we visited this place. Around an hour before visiting this place we had a chippy meal. We ordered many items but the stand out was Lamb and Chicken Kadai with Rotis. Reminded me the good old days of having food in Delhi! There is a difference between spicy and hot food. The chefs here know it very well. Friendly staff and great ambience! Next time I am in Cardiff, this place will definitely in the go to list.

Overwhelming price but the quality was not there, the food was underwhelming and bland, clearly stewed for too long and lacking any distinction. Portion size was fine, and the presentation was very hit and miss. Inadequate service, drinks did not arrive before meal and we're incorrect. Server did not take the plates after the starter, which left the table crowded and cluttered. The servers were polite but undertrained. Customer near us found a hair in their food, which put some members of our party off their food. There are many better options in Cardiff, won't be going back.

Me & my wife came here 2 years for my birthday & we fell in love with the place! I can confirm this place is open, we seen reviews to say it was closed and when we went past there were people inside. Glad we spent our evening here! Romantic Environment great for a date!

Food and Customer Service absolutely Fabulous, Servers were great and the atmosphere really influenced on the place, Would come again definitely, I would recommend everything on the menu to everyone. Cardiff’s No.1 Family food Place! You should have a chance to try!

1. The kebabs and Mango lassi were really good. Too much salt in papad and less salt in chips, other than that everything was good. 2 2. Decoration is nice and environment is good, 3. Free parking, 4. Staff were good. 5. Reasonable price.
