Very grateful to have this place open again - it was always derelict growing up so it feels quite a privilege to have it back. Amazing what they were able to do after the floods, too. Booking can be difficult, particularly as people can't travel abroad very much at the moment so are looking for activities to do at home. Covid restrictions handled quite well and are explained upon turning up. Water is warm, everywhere is very clean.

This was even better than expected! I wish the website had all the visitor info you need to know on one page (where closest parking is, £1 coins needed for locker etc) but the facilities are excellent and great value for money (£2 swim adult) I'd rather come here than my local leisure centre!

Lovely place. Easy to find. Plenty of changing rooms. Water warm. And plenty of chairs to sunbath on. Very reasonably priced. They only let you book a week in advance so you have to take a chance with the weather! Recommend going.

Was asked to shoot some shots of the members of Pontypridd Swimming Club at the Lido. I had to sneak a few shots of the Lido itself in too. What an amazing hidden gem this place is.

It's a wonderful place! Feels like being on holiday. The water is a nice temperature and it's never too busy. Food and drink is really delicious, music plays as you swim and the staff are so friendly. There are two good sized pools and a splash zone for the little ones, there are also plenty of sun loungers to relax on, indoor and outdoor changing rooms and plenty of showers. 100% recommend

Lovely pool Great sunny day Not too many people Great idea to give the number of your changing room in the qie so there isn't a scramble or rush for a cubicle. Hope this stays after covid. Good inflatables Plenty of lifeguards Great day out!

Love Ponty lido. Water is warm, spotlessly clean and friendly staff. Change in or outdoors. Enjoy 60s tunes and people having a fun swim whilst doing laps and taking in the hills.

Fantastic! Great facility, one lifeguard was a bit whistle happy, due to I think, his confusing hand signals. Inflatable hamster ball and water float obstacle course are great fun looking. Though if you have to queue, best hope for warm day as you get a false sense of temperature in the heated pool.

A wonderful attraction! No hassle at any point from booking to visiting. There's plenty of changing rooms and more than enough room in the pool. When I visited there was a large amount of lifeguards, so you were safe at all times. We'll worth a visit

Very nice pool. They don't seem to use chlorine either but don't quote me on that. Doesn't feel heated until you get out and back in again. Toilets were hard to find, thay'r on the opposite side to the entrance. Only down side is the old pool seemed to have a deeper deep part.

Second time I've visited for cold water swimming. Fantastic facilities, hot showers, spacious changing rooms. Excellent Caffi onsite for post swim waffle breakfast. Looking forward to the next visit 😊

Lido Pontypridd is a beautiful open-air swimming pool located in Pontypridd, Wales. It has been recently refurbished and reopened in 2015 after being closed for many years. The Lido boasts three heated pools, a children's splash pad, and a café. The design of the Lido is stunning, with a restored art deco building and a beautiful surrounding landscape. It's an excellent spot for families, friends, and individuals to enjoy a day out, and the staff are welcoming and helpful. Overall, Lido Pontypridd is a fantastic place to visit if you're looking for a fun and relaxing time in the water.

This is a brilliant place. I recommend it highly especially if you have children. I went with my grandchildren (6 and 9) who loved it. The water is pleasantly warm and the whole place was not too crowded. The changing facilities were plentiful and never full. The staff were helpful and polite. Make sure you book well in advance as it is very popular.

Not too crowded. Good value for money. Kids go free unless they want to go on the inflatable or boats.

Great time if you get the weather & can get a ticket! Timed sessions ensuring contained numbers, long wait outside. Toddler pool is too cold for little ones though. Inflatable fun is ok if your child can swim as it's very deep but great fun. Pool was heaving so not able to swim. Changing rooms not very private as people look over the top

Lovely place. My kids love it every time have been and really enjoy the activities that they have. The price is well worth it too.
