Lovely church, very large inside. If you are having a small wedding, christening or funeral the church can easily look very empty, however, that's not important.

Peaceful place of worship. Stop the world, step off, be mindful, and say some prayers for peace. The choir and organist are absolutely marvelous. Wonderful historic place and friendly people.

A beautiful church with lots of attractions. We were assisted by a volunteer who filled us in with all the church highlights. A church with lots of historic artefacts.

John is a very nice and polite priest, he could tell us a lot about the history of the 1000 year old church. And need to be more attracted by the people, its worth it.

What a hidden gem, not for one second did i think this building contained such treasures, such history, for any historian, explorer, family, this is a must. I have lived local for 43 years and shamefully put off a visit until the other day, more than impressed.

Beautiful church at the heart of Merthyr town. Lovely priest who puts such an effort to bring up the community together in faith and fellowship.

Full of history. Plenty of information boards around and helpful leaflets available as you enter. Quite a few tombs with statues of warriors and their wives on top. Well worth a visit

Very welcoming and knowledgeable volunteer guides. Former abbery church, interesting history, beautiful stained glass, numerous Medieval tombs - larger collection than most cathedrals.

Well worth a visit - a lovely historic church, and once inside a Saxon font, a medieval bell, and alabaster tombs galore, plus really helpful volunteers. Quite beautiful ❤️

Popped in her today as was killing time before a hospital appointment. What a delightful place. We were shown around by a knowledgeable gentlemen who talked about the various aspects of the churches history. Would recommend this place

A lovely, historic building for a visit in itself. My friendly fellow parishioners and our marvelous clergy make attending worship an uplifting experience. Visitors are always made welcome.
