A great place to take children our Grandsons age 18 months, 3,5 and 9 had a great time Would not hesitate recommending it for a great family day out A great range of facilities to keep the children entertained from Arts and crafts, rides, activities and Children Show by Jester. Good food, snack outlets plenty of toilets. We had no difficulty spending almost 6 hours there. If we had realised that they offer children meals we could have been there from opening time to closing time. Highly recommend it but the Bare foot Walk is only for the most intrepid 🤭🤭😊😊

What a brilliant place to visit! Took my 13, 10 and 7 year old and we had a great day. Staff were lovely and there was plenty to do. Highly recommend

We visited this park as special visitors. This is a family park so you need children to enter. We had special permission to visit without children. The whole aim of the place is to highlight sustainability through fun. We got to ride the green dragon coaster which is the world's only people powered coaster. It is a fun little ride! The staff were very welcoming and friendly. We couldn't have felt more welcome and special. If you have kids this is a brilliant place to bring them.

Fantastic family day out. Really enjoyed everything the park had to offer, great facilities, excellent Bacon bap. Loads to entertain the kids, adults and grandparents. Face painting, food, ice cream and drinks. Plenty of picnic benches dotted around.

Amazing little park, with very friendly and welcoming staff. Rollercoaster, water slides and river ride were big hits. Food is lovely, but can be a little expensive if not budgeted for. Still very worth it. Couple of rides have height restrictions, which would be helpful to know at entry (to preempt any meltdowns). Very easy to spend a full day here. Great gift shop at the end with lots of choice.

Great value for money and a superb theme park. Not overly busy for a weekend. Harly was exceptional. Our youngest got stung by a wasp, and Harly had finished for the day, but he could see her crying and stopped to see what was wrong. He maintained his fun character and gave her a balloon animal to cheer her up. His performance was great earlier in the day during his show, but this kind of attitude really shows his values. Superb for children under 16, especially younger children. Would recommend to any family in the area.

Spent a great day on Sunday here with our 5yo birthday girl & 7yo girl. Great for their age. Set in lovely woodland surroundings. We all enjoyed the rides & the staff manning the rides were very friendly. We expected to queue for some of the rides, but no queuing at all! Bonus! Park is very big so no crowding anywhere. Would definitely go back. Pity they don’t do a return ticket deal within a period of time.

Superb family fun. Good value, fun filled day that leaves everyone tired out. What's even better is that it is an eco friendly park, most things are powered by yourself and the rest is run off solar power 👍🏻🖐🌟🌍👌

Great day out with our five year old son. He loved every minute of it. So much to do we were there the whole day. Seven hours and he was shattered. Bit of a wait for the Green Dragon roller coaster and the the Solar Splash. We took a picnic, sandwiches and ‘fast food’ available, not too expensive but soon adds up.

What a great day at Greenwood Family Park. We arrived early at opening and didn't leave until the rides closed at 5pm! There is a discount for booking in advance so we made sure of the weather before booking. Both our kids (10 & 5) found plenty of the attractions were to their liking. The rollercoaster and splash slide were highlights for our eldest, and our youngest loved the river ride and jumping pillow. We found the atmosphere to be very family friendly, and the staff were all incredibly helpful and attentive. The designers have obviously considered that people need to sit while waiting for others who are on the rides as there plenty of benches and picnic tables dotted around. We took a picnic, but bought hot drinks and ice creams during the day. All seemed reasonably priced, and the gift shop was also reasonable for the small mementos my kids bought. There was a magic show on the day of our visit, and this captivated birth my kids. Green the Dragon was really rather funny, if a bit cheeky! There is also a viewing platform for Snowdon, although sadly obscured by clouds for my visit. Really recommend coming here to anyone with a young family and a day to spare in North Wales!

Best kids place ever! My 2.5YO son just loved it there. Even though a lot of rides and activities were for kids 95cm plus and 3years plus. My son still had a lot of activities to do there. The way they have built this park is fun for every age group. We wanted to stay in thier tipi tents too but unfortunately we didn’t plan in the advance. But something we will be looking forward to experience in future. I've included a few pictures here to give a small glipse of the park. I'd definitely recommend it and I can't wait to go back there soon.

Fantastic place for the whole family. Loads to do and plenty of shady spots to stop for a picnic or order from one of their many concession stands. The hot food was great and the facilities were cleaned regularly. Be aware, the green dragon rollercoaster was a long wait, we arrived just after opening and we waited for over 45 minutes. Friendly staff, and a reasonably priced gift shop!

Really great experience at this place. The kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves. There’s plenty to do even when it’s busy. We managed to get everything done in a day too which was nice cause the girls didn’t want to miss out. Harley the entertainer was absolutely brilliant and did some awesome magic. Plenty of toilet facilities. The food was delicious too.

Fantastic day out with our 3&7 year old didn't have to wait for then 10 mins for any of the attractions but imagine we just picked the right sunny day, can't complain about the prices as the icecream and coffees were great quality. Special shout out to the playbarn staff after realising the cash machine was broke and we hadn't withdrew money for the pay for diggers ext have out little girls £2 each. Honestly you don't come across that service in many places anymore! Will DEFINITELY be returning!!

Great for our child with ASD. We have never been anywhere like this before, it was absolutely ideal for us. We visited in peak time in the middle of August on a Sunday with our 4 and 6 year old boys. We arrived just as the rides were opening and so didn't have to queue to get on anything. Even at 2pm the park was not that busy and the maximum time we had to queue was just under 10 minutes for the roller coaster. Our eldest son is autistic so often gets overwhelmed by busy and noisy places, but this place felt peaceful even with lots of people around because it is in the forest and is spread out with plenty of space between rides. There were plenty of quiet spots for him to go and take time out and lots of gentle sensory activities, like the enchanted river ride, that allowed him to decompress. There's no loud music, sound effects, flashing lights and sounds of motors whirring that often accompany theme parks, so my son really thrived here. It was wonderful to see him gradually build up his confidence throughout the day. When we arrived he was very daunted by the green run and the roller coaster and was adamant he wouldn't go on either, but by the end of the day he'd been on the roller coaster twice and was up and down the big green run slide so many times. The only parts he avoided were the big water slides and the open air theatre as these were a bit too noisy for him but he went on and enjoyed everything else. All the staff were absolutely lovely, they were helpful and attentive and really polite. We had a memorable and special day, and would definitely visit again. Many thanks

Great for a family day out. Plenty of attractions to keep the kids busy, although only a few of them suitable for adults to join in. There are plenty of snacks and drinks available to purchase around the place but worth bringing some sandwiches to keep the hunger pangs at bay.

Really nice day out for young families, with most rides and activities only for children. Roller coaster was a good introduction for kids that don't go on them much and one of the few things adults could ride on. Food was reasonably priced and general pretty good. Plenty to keep the kids happy for the day

Wow Greenwood is a perfect family day out. There is something for every member of the family. Rides, slides, Jumping pillows, play areas, theatre show, and even a barefoot walk! Lots of seating around the park always somewhere to take a rest, plenty of places to get food and drink. Loved the crafting areas too. Even petted some rabbits :) . I would 100% recommend Greenwood. Took my 7 year old little girl and she loved every minute. I read reviews beforehand and was worried as a lot of the reviews said too hilly... I am overweight and not the fittest of people and I was perfectly fine as I stated there are lots of seating areas by every attraction. I am very glad I wasn't put off by the negative reviews. this place is amazing!

Absolutely wonderful trip had my 2 adults and a super active 4 year old boy. All had a lie in the next day! It's got a wonderful atmosphere, not too noisy as the sound is absorbed by the trees everywhere, plenty of different types of activities for older and younger children. I would've loved to have gone to a park like that as a child. Nice outdoorsy wooden natural feel to everything, hardly had to queue for any ride. A mix of focused quieter rides/activities and more physical climbing ones. The giants castle was particularly impressive. My son loved it so much, as did we. Will definitely be going back.

We love it here and have been several times on our trips to Wales. We love the venue, the scenery, great rides, a sustainable play park with some fun eco friendly rides! Cafe decent and prices reasonable. We have been coming regularly with our daughter and family and friends for a few years and will continue to do so till she gets too old!

How can anyone not rate this place 5 star? We went with my son who is 20 months so was a little worried he wouldn't be able to get on many things. I was wrong, it's catered for all ages and adults have fun as well. The staff were so welcoming, friendly and professional. Free parking! 12 pound entry for an adults, we spent 7 hours here so value for money, food was fair priced too. We came away exhausted after chasing the little one round all day. We went in none peak so was nice and quiet, we can't comment on line times for this reason. Just overall one of the best family things we have done in a while and will definitely be back. Thank you!

Had a fab day here with our 10yr old daughter. The rides were great. The food is reasonably priced. If you are going to go on the barefoot walk it's advisable to take a towel but some bits do hurt a little bit (fun though). I would highly recommend this place

This was an outstanding day out! Plenty to do can't believe we spent about 5hrs at the park. It was not too crowded either which was nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a very tasty meal at the restaurant both adults and children. The service was quick and efficient. Highly recommend a visit.

What an amazing place! Visited today and was there from opening until they closed. Was really busy but activities are well spaced out with plenty of facilities so queuing is kept to a minimum. The roller-coaster was obviously quite a long wait but was worth it. Treetops adventure play was the favourite play area and the log flume a great hit also. Staff fantastic as well, especially accommodating a late request for food (around 4pm, one snack bar had turned off the fryer but the guy was happy to get the requested food from another snack bar and bring it over). Food was reasonably priced and was what you would expect from this type of place. There was plenty of places to eat your own packed lunch also. The show was fantastic, we attended the last show at 3pm. It was just Erywed and not the magician but he was fantastic, really entertaining and full of enthusiasm despite it being the last show. The kids (4 and 7) absolutely loved it. We will be heading back soon!

Excellent! We went 5-8pm in late December for Father Christmas and it was great. Got super lucky with no rain or wind. Nice relaxed light trail for kids to enjoy with things to do on the way round. Magician was fantastic. Grinch was fantastic. Enjoyed soft play before we went home. Great experience overall and great price. Best Father Christmas experience we have ever been to.

We visited the park on a damp day in October and were really impressed. Lots of things for the kids to do. Food and drink were good value and the staff were great, good humoured and really helpful. Our youngest had a melt down as we left, and one member of staff came running up to save the day with a few impromptu magic tricks. A really nice touch to round off a great day out.

We truly had the most amazing day here. My 10 year old and 4 year old autistic little boy had the best time. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and when my little boy got overwhelmed they gave him and his sister a free ice cream. Cafe was amazing and food was served extremely quickly. If i could give more stars i would.

We had a wonderful time at Christmas lights. Really friendly staff, nice coffee & mince pies, soft play and create a bear. Really recommend. Good value for money.

An awesome theme park catering for younger children who love to explore and like outdoor things. The venue is not one full of electric powered rides but more natural power/ mechanical energy. Well worth a visit and lots and lots of fun. Be careful of the metal slides on a very hot day kids could easily burn themselves, so longer pants are important on a very hot day.

Can't comment on the rooms as we didn't stay there but only visited. I cannot believe we've only just found this hidden gem. Our children 2 and 8 loved every min of it. They even had to practically kick us out 😂. What a treat. Just brilliant. Thank you xx

I've said before I only rate 5 stars for really special places and Green Wood is part of that. The world's first people powered rollercoaster, that the staff managed to mend on the Saturday morning we went and the only real queue for the day? Great stuff. Solar powered water ride that is fun without getting soaked? Perfect. Lots of activities to do as a family like the maze, boating trip, archery and den building? Great stuff. Add in lots of other cool stuff, great magicians, friendly helpful staff and a real promotion of biodiversity and I'm totally on board! Have been speaking to others about it highly ever since and if we go again, we'll try out staying for the weekend!!

Absolutely love coming here but it's aimed more for primary children. Food was excellent and a child portion was enough for an adult. Staff throughout were very pleasant..

We had a great visit to GreenWood Family Park. This was the first time our 3 year old visited an amusement park, and she tried out the roller coaster and the water slide - and really enjoyed them. Her favourite part was the giants quest. We liked that we could bring our dog as it was a hot day - too hot for the car, but plenty of shade in the park. The only downside was that the snack bars weren't open as it was off peak and our daughter really wanted an ice cream!

  • 5/5 Sarah T. 9 months ago on Google
Didn't stay overnight so didn't rate rooms. The kids had an amazing time. They had plant based milk so happy I could have coffee. A few more vegan foods options would be good. Otherwise we all enjoyed

Great family day out in the open air despite the inclement weather. Shame one of the main attractions was under repair and did not open until late afternoon. All together a fun time.

  • 3/5 Graham C. 2 years ago on Google
Claims to be a cashless place yet some staff were not able to take credit cards which chopped and changed during the day. Staff very slow, unhelpful and made any kind of purchase a real hassle. Rides are fun if a bit short and queues can get long.

  • 5/5 Sunjay P. 2 years ago on Google
Found this park by chance, and lucked out by being able to go when it was quite quiet... This is one of the best parks I've ever taken my daughter. Has everything you need for a full fun day out. Highly recommended (especially if you can go on a quieter day). I'll definitely be back!!

  • 4/5 Starlight G. 2 years ago on Google
Great day out and loads to do for kids, staff all friendly. The entrance toilets were closed and staff didn't know where the others where so a bit of a hike to find some. Could do with a few more vegan options in cafe.

  • 5/5 Kyle R. 2 years ago on Google
A wonderful day out for all the family! Plenty to do and see! The slides are great fun! If you have kids age 4-11 then this is a must for your holiday! Pack some sandwiches because they won't want to leave!
