Rude staff Awful car park Stairs outside are metal with no slip mats so very unsafe in the rain Room was dirty Cheap toilet roll Beds not made Dirty bath Toilet was wobbly and unsafe I would never stay in this place again if you paid me Wouldn't even rate it 1 star and every other member of the public we spoke to was discusted also.... Tv played up in both rooms we had Horrible hard beds.... I stay all over the world and this place is just -minus - 10 over. Priced bar.... Awful food Just please avoid!

There's new owners now. Much more a better experience than before, food is amazing home cooked. Not that spoons generic stuff. Cheap drinks, good service.

We had a lovely time staying here. The twin room was perfect clean,light and airy. The staff are very friendly and food was hot and tasty. No breakfasts.

Finally a refreshing lift to this dead pub... cant wait for food to start and landladys got some great ideas still to reveil... excited to see the progress and success to come

Nice place. Lamp didn't work in our room and the towels looked very old. The cups were dusty. Otherwise nice and clean. Beds were cosy. Nice and polite staff. 20 charge for the dog for one night seems excessive to me. Great idea of a key with a fob so we could get in and out anytime. Free car park with security gates was great. Food was expensive and not must to choose from. Shop right outside. Overall a nice place for a comfortable stay.

Went for Sunday lunch and was pleasantly surprised. All the food was fresh ,the service was spot on all this for £12,95 and for that price it was very good , I have paid twice that only to be served frozen veg and aunt Bessie's yorkies

First time entering the cef today for there sunday lunch, absolute out of this world. Im very fussy with the sunday lunch but did enjoy this. Tash and the staff were very friendly. My girls enjoyed the food and dessert. Half way through my dinner and already booked again for next week. Fair dues team absolutely smashing it 👏

Set on the outskirts of lower penarth this pub has been very quiet each time I've visited although they are trying with daily events such as free pool night and open mic night, staff have been very friendly on each of my visits and although I've not eaten there the food has a very good local name

No food in the week and you can’t buy any hot drinks so it’s basically a sports pub for men who like beer.

Friendly, good free live music. Discos and games nights. Food excellent

We really enjoyed our stay at Cefn Mably. Well organised, basic rooms but value for money.When we stayed (Nov 2020) no provision for breakfast but the evening meal was lovely, well cooked and a good choice of food was available, friendly welcoming and a great atmosphere. The covid restrictions at that time were managed very well and we felt safe. We could not always book in advance so thank you Marina for your flexibility and understanding of the situation. Would definitely go back.

Stayed here on 08th April as we had family staying local. The atmosphere was amazing there was a comedian on who was hilarious!! The owners Gareth and Tash were absolutely sound! Everyone made us feel welcome and we would 100% go back if we are in Cardiff again. Thanks all for an amazing stay. Charl & Sian x

Shame I can't give any lower stars i arrived after booking on last minute after 4 hours to wich the women who dealt with me tryed to double charge me even though id already paid was rude the room was cold the TV didn't work really not happy only bonus was bed was comfy
