Lots of help from lovely staff, especially Andy on tiles and Macy? On kitchens. Thanks to all for an excellent shopping experience

Good selection of stock and paint Staff helpful. They have introduced a new self scan, and I personally prefer someone at the till.

I always find this store soulless. And in the summer the plants were not being looked after at all. Most were wilting!! However, the staff are always helpful and friendly - when you can find them.

Shopped here plenty of times , always a great experience generally and today was no exception with the guy working on cutting machine being very helpful and taking the stress out of buying some new shelves , thank you

This is a large store and has a dedicated trade point entrance and till bank. It is a great store with most things you need for DIY and home furnishing. Brought some great flooring from here and also plants for my new garden

Usual well-stocked store. Extremely helpful staff. Well recommended.

Very large version of the chain, well stocked horrible self service check outs which makes it feel very unfriendly as you may not speak to a single person while shopping

There are wheelchairs available for clients. Unfortunately I saw them near the EXIT (see them folded between the key cutting and the rug doctor?) rather than at the entrance, so if you need one you may have to ask explicitly to find it.

Came in here looking for masonry drill bits and screws for a project. As a 50 something female I find that sometimes you are ignored/invisible /spoken to like you're 5 (yes, it is 2022!) but I was lucky enough to ask PHIL for advice (at the EXETER) branch. Top marks to Phil! he was incredibly helpful, patient and answered all of my questions without making me feel any of the above. I didn't feel rushed, despite the fact he was busy and his project advice was invaluable and really helpful.Genuine, very lovely , helpful guy. Thank you very much. Well done Exeter, will be back (sorry Phil!...)

The staff on the tills have no sense of urgency or any competence in getting anything handled quickly. Don't even have the courtesy to make eye contact or acknowledge they're making you wait and wait and wait while they bumble through. I gave up.

Staff were helpful, what I bought was a good price and also worked very well. Also, open after I finished work which was brilliant!!

At the time I attended, there was only one person/ counter in use. The self-service machines were not in use, thus a significant queue developed. Needless to say,All were not happy!

Everything was perfect Find it, grab it, done. Stuff 5/5 (some random Lady in B&Q t shirt , spend with me, JUST TO HELP ME, FIND THE PLASTIC CASE AND LID, 10 MINish). Great, I'll be back

Great store with some much choice. Being bigger than the average bnq store in the area it has almost all items in stock rather than having to order it online for delivery. Clean and friendly staff and the addition of self service tills is great.

Having B&Q nearby is always good. I was not prepared for having such a large store nearby, The stock it regularly refreshed and has stocked most of what I have needed. Great to be able to easily source what I need.

After getting a kitchen designed at the Exeter store many pieces were missing, wrong size or not even able to be incorporated. After 5 50 mile round trips to change pieces and one trip to prove that I had paid for a door I had ordered the previous day. After todays visit I was basically made to feel it was my fault or the kitchen fitters fault, luckily another customer arrived with a trolley full of pieces that were all wrong.

The web site said that they have one tin of the paint that I required . I could not find it. Went to the paint counter to ask. Lady Assistant said just a mo and walked away. 5 minutes later still not returned so I gave up and walked out. Web site still says that they have stock. Sums up orange box store

We bought a new bathroom suite, customer service was excellent, Zoe couldn't do enough for us, double checking we had everything we needed & felt really personal although it was really busy...fantastic

This is as big as B&Q gets. A big sellection of just about anything you'd need for DIY or small time building. Ample parking and located fairly near the A38 and Exeter service station. Toilets at the back of the store and a snack kiosk outside in the carpark near the exit door.

It's B&Q. No self-service anymore which is fine if you have a few tills open but when it's only a couple it can be a bit frustrating waiting. Saying that, I bought a great light for my desk so I was happy. 👍🏻

Large store. Very small cafe. Staff are all very helpful and knowledgeable. However, I feel that choice is more limited than has been in the past.

Would just like to thank the staff for such lovely customer service today when I went to the Exeter store. I had ordered a gate for delivery to my mum who i was visiting as I couldn't get it where I live in wales. When I arrived yesterday I saw part of the gate was missing so I visited the Exeter store with the intention of buying a new gate. I was directed to the customer service desk and the ladies were extremely helpful as was the gentleman who escorted me to find the replacement gate. I cannot recall having such amazing customer service , sorry I can't remember your names but I hope you see the feedback and recognise it is directed at you. You saved me expense and stress and I am very grateful :-)

Recently spent over £600 on engineered flooring here and had to return 1 pack as the colours were wrong on a couple of sections. When we asked to return the item, it was met with great resistance, we were not offered a full refund, we were offered £15 as a “gesture of good will” instead of the full price of £42, as they disagreed that the colour was wrong. (Should have just said they were faulty). We dealt with the duty manager Zoe at the time who was in very unreasonable. It’s left us feeling very bitter. Considering that evening we were also about to spend over £1k in store and in the past I’ve spend thousands, it’s really their loss, as I won’t be taking business back there. It’s a shame good customer service is hard to come by these days.
