    Unfortunately I am unable to give the “good review” requested by this company. The service received was not even worthy of 1 star. After waiting nearly 2 hours for our PREBOOKED and PREPAID taxi to arrive, it would have been quicker for me to CRAWL home. Countless phone calls to determine where the taxi was and being hung up on multiply times, appalling customer service. Definitely not how I would run my business. Think again before booking with this company.

    Used for transport from Concorde club to Titchfield Common back in Dec 23, for Christmas night out. Arrived on time, very polite, nice clean car and really reasonable rates. Would recommend

    In the past, I used this company a lot. Now, it's probably one of the worst on Southampton. Always late. I asked to be picked up today at 6:40 as I had a train to catch and specifically asked the driver not to be late. 10 minutes I waited and every time I called to get an update, I kept being told the driver was 3 minutes, then 5 minutes, then 2 minutes. Eventually, I got my own car, After calling the company, they didn't seem to even care. No apology for the late driver and asked me if I wanted to cancel the ride. What a ridiculous question after I just mentioned I was in my own car. This isn't the first time either that their drivers are late. I will never use this company again.

    Would give zero stars if I could. Booked and paid for a cab to and from an event on a busy night. Cab out fine. Call from cab my ride to cancel our cab home!!!! No problem they’ve refunded us. But how do we get home? Apparently not their problem and we should just try and get another cab from somewhere else. Way to spoil our night. AVOID AVOID AVOID

    My name is Ahmed Abuzied, I am writing this after I have had a very bad and unprofessional experience with your company. On 23 December 2021 I booked an online ride with Booking Ref: 227236 After which the money was withdrawn from my Bank account then I started to have my Worst experience ever: 1. Primarily I received a confirmation email from them which was sent wrong regarding my Luggage stating that it is 0 after which I emailed support and received an email from Mr Steven confirming my ride and confirming that he correctly booked 3 bags for my trip. 2. Since that event we had 4 complete days before my departure to London and I was never contacted by this company about any Changes regarding my booking. 3. On 27 December 2021 I arrived at Heathrow Airport terminal 2 as per my booking with your Company and I kept waiting for more than an Hour for anyone to show up but unfortunately nothing Happened. 4. And Since I didn't have a UK number, I had to Call their Customer service as an international call by my Egyptian mobile and to be honest I was completely astonished to hear their customer service agent telling me over the phone that there is no reservation under my name and when I told him that I have a confirmation email and a booking reference, he laughed and said Oh is it you Ahmed, I am sorry to tell you that our company is in Southampton and that we are not going to get you 5. The call then ended because I didn't have enough money in my credit to complete this call and surprisingly their agent didn't trouble himself to call me back. 6. I really need to know why did this company book the ride and withdraw my money if they can not offer me this service , and why didn't they contact me by email if it was difficult for them to reach my phone so as to give me a chance to book my ride with another company . 7. And of course due to this totally unprofessional and unacceptable behaviour from this company I had to be kept waiting in Heathrow airport for more than 2 Hours in order to find another Taxi from the Airport which Charged me 213 pounds at the time that I could have booked a much cheaper Taxi if your company was honest with me from the beginning and informed me that you couldn't pick me up from Heathrow airport. 8. And to make this experience with the them the worst ever today is 12/01/2022, this 16 days after their unprofessional cancellation of their ride with me they did not refund the money back to my Bank account provided that I did send many emails and I called them 3 times but with no response Worst Experience Ever

    Booked a car for early Saturday morning with the proviso that they must not be late. Guess what.....after two texts from two different drivers saying they would be there, they were late. When I called the usual "it's just two minutes away". Had to take my own vehicle and leave in town. This company apparently joined forces with bitterne cars who I have used for years with no dramas. Not even an apology. Will never use this company again. Booked cabs are no good if they are late

    We were let down by another local taxi firm with a pre booked taxi to the cruise terminal. I called Cab My Ride and the operator was lovely, dispatched us a taxi and within 5-10 mins this arrived and we were on our way. Our driver was a good bloke, polite, helped hubby with bags as I sorted the kids and the journey was great. Decent price too. All in all a great service. We will be using you as our go to taxi firm from now on :)

    Our cab didn't show up at the time booked, so I rang to ask where it was. I was told it was stuck in traffic (first lie) and that it would be with us in 7 minutes (second lie). After 20 minutes, I rang again to be told that it would be there in 2 to 3 minutes (third lie). A cab finally showed up half an hour late, which is stressful if you have a flight to catch. It was pretty filthy. The truth, according to the driver, was that the original designated driver decided not to do the job and so he, the replacement driver, had come from a different town, having been called in the middle of his dinner, which he couldn't finish. He said he was their best driver, but had only been with them for a month. They get two stars, not one, simply because, despite leaving so late, the flight was not actually missed, but had we read some of these terrible reviews we would have realised that the company is clearly not reliable. The most worrying aspect for me is the fact that the people who answer the phone are clearly instructed to tell whatever lie is necessary to reassure the customer, which means you can never know where you stand with them and might not discover that they have let you down completely until it's too late. Not worth the risk!

    I requested information about security of booking on line and was informed they will always honour a booking but they may have to cancel in exceptional circumstances. Well they cancelled my taxi 24 hours prior to travel and I was unable to find an alternative at such short notice. Maybe locally they are more reliable but I will never use them and would not recommend them. No reason for cancellation was given. If you only do local pickups then you should not have confirmed an on line booking to Bournemouth airport.

    It's 5.30am and they've just cancelled my booked service. Their drivers are completely unreliable. I've used them once before for an airport transfer and 5 minutes before pick up time, the driver was up in Basingstoke. They had to call in a favour to be able to cope with the demand. Really unprofessional, avoid. Edit: waking me up at 5.30 in the morning, an hour before my trip isn't going to be enough time to arrange different transportation. You had already confirmed pick up as well, so you are simply unreliable. Your company is awful.

    Booked a cab over 24 hours in advance to get my mother to the train station. The ticket she was travelling on was for one particular service, and she had a booked seat. I received a text 30 minutes or so before the pick-up to say the driver was on his way. 5 or 10 minutes later I got another text to say a different driver was on his way. Then near the booked time yet another text said he'd arrived, but he hadn't. It turned out he went to an address 25 minutes away from us due to 'a system error', so my mother missed her train. When the taxi did eventually arrive they said I had to pay again (despite paying on line when I booked) as the original booking was now cancelled, and this was now a new booking. This time my mother was charged £5 more than the online booking. After the event I chased up a refund, which took a month of emails and phone calls, and then it was only for credit onto my Cab My Ride account (though admittedly it was for more than I was due, as a gesture). Absolutely shocking all round.

    Great booked on behalf of elderly mum to get to medical appointment. Polite driver Just 10 mins late arriving due to accident in town an update text to reassure would have been a good communication tool to keep us in the loop. Am booking again for next month's thanks for service

    I booked a car 24hrs ahead of time via their website, and got a confirmation text and email. This was for my 88 year old relative to go from daycare to home. The cab never arrived, and no notification of a cancellation via text or email. I called them and they were less than helpful, very defensive and just telling me that the car had been cancelled 2.5 hours before pick up & that I had got an email about it and it was not really their problem that the car didn't turn up or that I had not received the cancellation notification - I definitely DO NOT recommend them.

    The taxi picked us up at the exact time requested and got us to the cruise ship terminal in good time. Once we had docked on our return, I was able to book a taxi for a specified time. We then found ourselves leaving the ship much earlier than expected. I used the app to ask for the taxi to come as soon as they could manage and our driver was with us in 10 minutes. Fantastic service and we will use this company every time. They even give us loyalty points which can be used to offset future journey costs.

    What a pleasant experience! I normally dislike taxi firms, but ‘Cab My Ride’ was fantastic. From the lovely lady on the phone, to my driver .. who arrived quickly and he was ever so friendly. I will 100% be using this taxi firm again and i certainly recommend them to anyone and everyone!

    My partner booked this taxi company to go out for my Birthday three days in advance. Our taxi on the way to our restaurant was 40 minutes late and the driver complained about how far the journey was. If it was an issue then the company shouldn’t have accepted the booking.We were late to our booking. There was no compensation for this lateness. We were half way through our meal when we received a call that our 10:30 taxi home had been cancelled when we were supposed to be picked up in 40 minutes time. The excuse was that they were at full capacity. Why was the booking accepted three days before if capacity could be full on the evening? After calling the company and telling me they could “try” and get a taxi for us at 1am. Completely unacceptable. Reading through reviews where your response to complaints is that we should book with “local companies” then you should not accept our bookings and give false promises to your clients. Really disappointing and will never use again.

    Pre booked a taxi through cab my ride. They didn’t turn up. We called multiple times and were repeatedly told the driver was mere meters away. After an hour of this we cancelled. They still charged us though! Now trying to get our money back for the service they didn’t reply. Don’t risk it, don’t book with them!

    I’ve used cab my ride numerous times without any issue. However, last time the driver Farhat took payment twice for the same trip. The first time we tapped the card driver said it hadn’t gone through and said they had cancelled the transaction. We tapped the card again and the driver was adamant we wouldn’t be charged twice. It’s clear the first one wasn’t cancelled as two fares were taken from our bank account. I’ve tried using the Help&Support page on the app and have received no response at all. I’m so disappointed and will no longer use their service again. I’ve lost trust in them after this incident

    Book a cab on Thurs for Sunday so plenty of notice. They rang me on Saturday to ask if I minded if they could be 10mins late, which I agreed too. Then today Sunday an hr before the cab was due they rang me to cancel. Very poor . Will not be using cab my ride in the future and will be telling family and friends not to as they were completely un reliable.

    Cab My Ride helped me out last minute after being let down by another company. They were with me within 15 minutes of my call. I am very happy with the price charged, and the service given was definitely 5* 'Thank you'

    Driver cancelled 10 mins before my cab was due for journey to train station. I managed not to miss my advanced train thanks to fine weather, a fast paced walk, but it triggered my tennis elbow pulling my trolley bag. Very unsatisfactory, especially as I book over 18 hrs beforehand. I would give zero stars if I could.

    Ask for a cab for 4 or 2 cabs as we had luggage they sent us 1 Prius. Yea that would work to get us to the Cruise port. Then said he would take 2 and go back for the rest of our party. But when he dropped us off. Ask us to call our friends and that it would be 25 minutes as he has to make another pickup first. Use the local Uber wish we had.

    I was a party of 3 who pre-booked a trip home from the Aegis bowl. We specifically selected a pick up location away from the event, and an hour after the event finished. The pick up location was close to where the roads were still open, yet the driver was over an hour late in picking us up. Every time we called the office, we received mix messages related to where the car was and how long he would be. Will not be using Cab my ride again.

    Booked three times recently. First two occasions the taxi arrived fifteen minutes late with no explanation or apology. I tracked the third one using the link that I was sent to find that at the booked time the car was heading into Southampton City centre.... the opposite direction. I made alternative arrangements and cancelled. Probably not use them again, too unreliable.

    My cab driver, Richard, was absolutely fantastic. My flight was delayed at least 3 hours and he not only waited for me but ensured I had everything I needed. He was courteous, helpful and a thoroughly pleasant individual and got me home to Southampton as quickly as possible, despite bad traffic. I would thoroughly recommend Cab My Ride and, in particular, Richard. Thank you for making the end of my holiday a really good experience!

    It was my first time in London. I arrived with two kids and I wanted to go to Southampton. The taxi service was really good and I really appreciate the service they have provided for me. The taxi centre replied very fast and supplied a quick service on time. The total cost for the ride was really reasonable. The driver Tom was very helpful, polite and friendly. I recommend this service for anyone for safe and happy journey.

    Both drivers were very friendly, polite and courteous for both journeys. They arrived on time and were helpful with our questions Unfortunately, due to requesting a second taxi for the return journey there was an overpayment issue. This took a little bit of sorting out but Ayesha at customer services kept persevering to understand exactly what had happened and happily a refund was given. All in all a good experience. Life isn’t always perfect but great when a company works hard to sort a challenge out.

    3 weeks ago I needed to get from Southampton to Tunbridge Wells. The trains were on strike & I was ill. I used this company and I'm so pleased I did. It was a long journey in both directions - on a miserable wet day,I did feel for the driver! I can recommend them, HIGHLY!! The driver was on time & a confident driver, a relaxing journey!

    I'm extremely grateful and appreciative of the service Ijaz provided for me and my sister. I had left my purse in the back of the taxi and he had contacted us as soon as he noticed I had left it. He then posted my purse back to my home address and within 24 hours I had it back. I am so very grateful for Ijaz's help and exceptional level of care and service, I can not recommend his service enough. Thank you Cab My Ride for hiring such honest and exceptional people like Ijaz! :)

    The cab driver was extremely courteous and very helpful, particularly with the help he provided with loading heavy suitcases and my wheelchair. The vehicle was very comfortable and ideal for the journey to the cruise port. Highly recommended.

    I was tasked by friends last week to get us a taxi booking to attend a family party that crossed the Southampton boundaries. That booking wasn’t just for any type of taxi: we needed a 6 seater to fit 3 adults and 2 kids! I started calling the usual local firms that I’ve used since I was a teenager, knowing full well what the response would be: we can book you in but we can’t guarantee you a 6 seater. Sure enough, I got that response from all three firms that I called, so I went to good ol google to look for other local taxi firms and found Cab My Ride next on the list after those I’d already tried. I’d never heard of them before, but with the logo and website looking very legit and professional, I decided to give them a call. Speaking to one of their telephone agents, I was pleasantly surprised to find that they could indeed book me a 6 seater! For the initial pick up AND the return journey! I must say I felt pretty smug at bagging such a booking! On the night of the party (yesterday) there was an issue with the initial pick up: the taxi was stuck in the football traffic and ended up being half an hour late. This was handled in a great manner from a customer service perspective at the cab office and the driver was extremely apologetic when he called me en route and when he arrived. He was absolutely lovely and humoured my friends kids when they excitedly jumped in the taxi, waving and shouting hello at him! The return journey was on time, in fact Harj was a bit early as he told me when I ran up to the taxi in a little bit of a flap as I was a little late! Harj reassured me it was all good, he’d been keeping himself busy on his phone. Harj was equally as lovely as the first driver: very friendly and chatty, despite the time of night. He was saddened to hear about the earlier issues and again apologised for that, explaining he had also been caught up in that traffic earlier. Overall, despite the challenge with the first pick up, I can honestly say that I will absolutely be using Cab My Ride again, and I’m saying that as someone who has pretty much stuck to using the same firm for the last 20-odd years! I’ve had some horrendous taxi journeys over the years, with some moody and downright rude drivers at times. From my experience last night, there was none of that, just a genuine nature across the board and a friendly reassuring manner from everyone I spoke to or saw, that put me at ease. I’ve also downloaded their app, which looks good so far. Thank you very much for a great service and I look forward to using you again!

    These guys are cool. Driver opened the door for me as I minced out to the car. Very polite. He assured me that he had enough sleep and would remain awake during the entire journey. No discrimination here either, health exemption on masks was accepted without problem unlike the big company that forces masks on all its customers with no exceptions. Go Cab My ride!! Well done.

    Unfortunately having booked both trips in 8 seater 2 weeks ago at a total cost of £150.00 - you changed the pick up time in the morning! 😡 However the driver was excellent and lovely. On way back 20 minutes late - the drive was awful! Love using local firms normally but wouldn’t use again.

    booked taxi 4 days in advance as we were 3 women with 3 separate drops. confirmed 2days before trip and app showed confirmed booking. on night, no one outside so rang number to be informed.....no one available for an hour then received text taxi cancelled. Will not use again and most certainly not recommend. Date of experience: December 2023

    I have used cabmyride on a number of occasions recently. I have found them easy to book with, punctual, reasonably priced and reliable. The cars have been clean and the drivers helpful and friendly. I will definitely use them again.

    Excellent service. He was 10 minutes early. I only hope that he would have waited if I didn't get to him, and wait for the other's to come out. He was very pleasant. Maybe you should update your software, as he wasn't given the caravan number.

    What a nightmare. Booked cab with Aryvo/cab my ride for after my daughter’s wedding reception. Came out 10-15 minutes late. Driver did not recognise my first name so we looked around for another taxi. When car park was empty the bride in her wedding dress went back to the taxi and offered the surname. He still did not recognise it. Said we had to give the right name. Offered first and last name- and only then did he acknowledge us as his fare! Husband said he would pay for the time the driver waited. Went to get in car, hand on the door handle, but instead the driver sped off leaving us and the bride standing in her wedding dress at a golf course at midnight! How cruel is that! Eventually got refunded but a mar to what was otherwise a beautiful day. Suffice to say I do not recommend them!
