I am new to owning a bike, I called Dan as I had no air in my tyres, tried pumping them up already. Dan saved me a visit and talked me through what to do over the phone. Very friendly and knowledgeable.

Really great service provided by Dan and Jordan. Pick up and drop off service really is a fantastic option (especially as my main issue was my bike chain getting stuck into my Wahoo Kickr so was unable to move it). Jordan easily got my bike free and I was sent a triage report within 24hrs detailing issues, repairs and costs. Bike servicing and repairs all completed quicker and cheaper than I thought possible so I am absolutely chuffed and would wholeheartedly recommend their services to anyone and will be getting all my bike related jobs sorted through BMD in the future. Worth noting that despite picking a more advanced level of service as I was unsure, I was assured that the cheaper lower level option was all my bike needed. Little things like this go a long way!

Dan offers a fantastic service of coming to you to pick up and drop off your bike and compared to shops around Birmingham suburbs, his prices were very competitive and saved me the hassle of taking the bike to a shop. His communication throughout the process of my bike build was fantastic and he is a very skilled bike mechanic. A great seamless service. I phoned up and my bike was collected. I didn’t have to do anything.

Very helpful and efficient. Dan's bike mechanic called round at the agreed time to assess the job and returned the following day to carry it out. Saddle post now the right height. Seemed quite expensive but given call out charges now, I thought £48 was probably fair even though it was a straightforward job.

Took my Boardman road bike to Dan's workshop at Umberslade Farm for a service. Couldn't be happier! Bike was ready when stated (next day) and all work carried out as discussed. No hidden costs or surprises. Bike returned cleaned and running great now. The thing I liked most was that Dan and his assistant seem to really enjoy what they are doing and get pleasure from doing a good job. Would highly recommend.

I can't rate Dan highly enough. He's a friendly and honest communicator, and he and Jordan set my bike up perfectly for a JOGLE trip in August. They serviced my bike impeccably beforehand and the attention to detail is easily the best I've come across in Birmingham to date. It's refreshing to be able to speak to an excellent mechanic face to face, rather than have your bike handed back over a shop counter with some notes on the work done. It's a business to be proud of for sure, and I'll certainly be using Dan from here on.

Bike Man Dan is "The Man". Both he and his apperentice Jordan are very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I was sent a "Triage Report" and estimated cost less than 24 hours later. The online bill payment was straight forward, and the pick-up/drop-off service is great too. I was lucky to get my bike back the following day thanks to the nature of the problem and my location, but a week or so for more complex issues seems very reasonable. So are the rates. I recently took my bike to a different local service to have a dented mudguard fixed and was charged £15 for what can't have been more than 5 minutes work. I highly recommend Bike Man Dan's extremely well organised business.

Excellent service on both our old Ribble and Cannondale. Then I had a niggly thing with my favourite long-in-the-tooth Ridley and Dan fixed that on the drive. Marvellous service. They feel like new.
