A very disappointing experience. My husband had an appointment on 25/1/23 for a medical assessment for the purpose of driving over the age of 75. When he arrived for the appointment, he was told there was a note on the computer that he couldn't get the assessment done until his birthday, which is 9th February and his appointment had been cancelled, without notifying him, which was very inconvenient, as it says on the letter, that he received from Main Roads, that you need to get it done, BEFORE your birthday and the doctor that he saw a few weeks before, told him to come in about 2 weeks before his birthday. He pointed this out to the girl on the front desk, but it didn't make any difference and they didn't even offer to make another appointment for him. So, he went down the road to another doctor and asked them about it and they said, "no problem" and made an appointment for the next day, with them. This was very disappointing and frustrating and very unprofessional from you, as we had just decided to return to you as our family doctors.

This place used to be good but has declined in a big way. They're always too busy which means things get missed. Staff are hit and miss - some are lovely, some not so much. I've had other doctors that will just call back with results after making a referral, especially when there's no follow up required. Here it's $80 for a 4 minute call to say basically nothing.

My family visited with Dr Katie Allen for the first time. What an incredible doctor- her kind bedside manner put us immediately at ease. She listened to our issues with genuine concern and offered excellent and wholesome advice. It is unusual these days to find somebody with a true medical calling to help others. We are very grateful. The staff were very friendly, efficient and attentive. Highly recommend.

We have been using this practice for years and whilst it’s generally been great, unfortunately it seems to be slipping. Not for the first time todays wait time was ridiculous. After confirming a 2:50pm booking I got there early to be safe but didn’t get seen until 3:45. I was in excruciating pain from a recent tooth extraction so not great timing but the most frustrating part is they have the audacity to charge $113 because it’s Saturday but only have one doctor on… not good enough sorry.

I have recently moved to the area and was seeking a new GP. I booked in to see Dr Nikki Pfeffer and was so glad I chose her. It was nice to start fresh and have her listen to me and offer new suggestions. She was friendly, knowledgeable and professional.

This fabulous clinic came highly recommended and I was impressed from the moment I called to make an appointment.. efficient, friendly, organised. The reception staff were run off their feet on the day of my appointment but maintained their cool, calm friendliness with every patient and every call. The Doctor I saw was everything you’d want in a Doctor - most of all she was an incredible communicator and listener. She gave me so much time and I can’t thank her enough for her care today.

We have recently moved to the area and tonight was my first time visiting this clinic. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with smiles and warmth by the staff member at the front desk. My one year old son was unwell, extremely tired and quite frankly, just being a toddler. She was incredibly accomodating, closing opened doors so my son was able to run around safely and even offered him a toy dinosaur. His tired cries were met with smiles, rather than dismay, which was more than appreciated. The Dr. was also incredibly kind, reassuring and clearly knowledgeable. My family and I will definitely be using this clinic again :)

The 2 nurses I dealt with were exceprional at their job and very compassionate. I enjoyed every minute spent there thank you so much. The same for the doctor very professional while dealing with my medical needs and still being able to talk to on a human level. Thanks again

I was very happy with the friendliness of staff, how easy they made registering as a new client and the communication. The doctor was very thorough and made me feel very comfortable and the nurses were friendly and gentle. Overall very grateful and impressed with their service.

Since moving to Queensland I have been looking to get a doctor for myself. I decided to try Dr Allen at the Carina Medical & Specialist Centre which is close to home. Dr Allen spent time getting to know me and didn't rush me through anything, ensuring that she had all of the correct information. The waiting room was kept clean and tidy, everything being disinfected after each client. The staff were lovely. The fees were more or less normal for non bulk billing practices. For bulk billing, you would be best to call them and discuss this. I am very happy with my choice.

Today I went in for a skin check and Doctor Alison Lam was extremely thorough going over my entire body even between my toes. I’m sending my husband to see her next week. Highly recommend.

Dr Phil Wuth provides outstanding expert medical care to his patients and is across all the details. His manner is exceptional and I feel very privileged to have him as my GP. Excellent reception and nursing staff as well. Can’t recommend Carina Medical and Specialist Centre highly enough.

I have been going to this centre to see Maria Rodrigues (pyschologist) for the last 4 years. I wasn't sure what I needed or wanted from a psychologist but can definitely say that Maria is amazing and cannot recommend her enough. I have told family and friends to go and speak to her, so if you're looking for an amazing psychologist, book in to go and see her.

Yesterday I came into Carina Medical centre for my first Covid vaccination. I couldn’t be more impressed by how it was run and at all times felt very safe while being in the centre. All the staff were very professional and friendly. For a busy business owner within 30mins, I was in and out. Great result. Thank you and look forward to visiting again.

I have been going to Carina Medical for over 12 years. Dr Phil Wuth and his team are professional, thorough, welcoming and I always feel well looked after. The Physio Ben is wonderful and has helped me recover well from injury.

First time in my life that the doctor doesn't even make an effort to check my fracture in my arm (physically check) or at least do a new x-ray when 1 week had passed. My goal with this appointment was to know what the treatment was and how long I should be like this, because I can't move my arm. The service leaves me a lot to think about, I do not recommend it. Also, there is very bad customer service, they are not trained to receive migrant or tourists. Little or no empathy. The appointment lasted less than 10 minutes. I thought I was going to a professional orthopedic specialist, but I think my insurance made a mistake in choosing the provider.

This clinic is wonderful. From the moment I stepped inside the door, I felt welcome. The staff on the front desk were so friendly. The Dr I saw was the most wonderful GP I have ever visited. I don't want to name them (in case they become so popular that I can't get an appt with them 😉). This has by far been the best clinic I've ever been to. Thanks team.

I have had many issues with this practise including waiting weeks to hear or get a call back from a nurse just because I missed a phone call only to call back straight away and be told they’ll call tommorow another week passes and it’s been a month this has happened twice now when getting results! When I call reception to ask all I get is them sighing the whole time and acting like they hate their job and don’t want to be there just go get another job then!!! I’m really unhappy with the service of this place and the wait times and how badly I am treated I’ll be finding a new doctor. The doctors here are good but it’s always busy as well and I waited an hour to see a doctor last time which is pretty bad for somewhere that isn’t fully bulk billed.

Very good customer service from the front desk, then an experience, kind and gentle Dr is always excellent. The appointment was for a 9 years old and the DR was able to treat her for her age showing that he cared and provided what she needed.

Dr Anita Chang (acupuncture GP) has an amazing wealth of knowledge & has a unique perspective combining western & eastern understanding of health, illness & management. I have full confidence in her recommendations & she has helped me greatly over the years with both acute & chronic issues. I highly recommend her & the practice.

Very good surgery, from Reception-Nurses-Doctors. I’ve been looked after by Dr. Phillip Wuth since 2017. Phil is a very caring, understanding Doctor. Also Dr.Anita Chang, Anita is a Medical Acupuncturist & like Phil, caring and understanding. I’ve found her treatment most helpful.

Dr Alison Lam is absolutely wonderful with our two boys! We highly recommend her to anyone who has small children. She is extremely thorough and explains everything clearly. She also cared for me postpartum and really helped with my recovery. We will be long time patients! 😊

2 doctors, 2 scans, no results callbacks, hundreds of dollars for literally nothing. Beware the 9-5 doctors trying to milk your wallet. Disgraceful unprofessionalism for a supposedly esteemed position. I have an injury of some kind, probably the tendon in my thumb -- kinda important that it works, _for life in general_. Still unresolved as I write this. First doctor sends me for an x-ray and says they'll call with results. 4 days later, no call. I call them to find the case is simply marked "no action" and the doctor isn't available for 6 more days. Amazing, thanks.. $40 💸 So I book the next available doctor. Second doctor tells me the x-ray shows nothing, bones are fine, expresses concern about tendons, and sends me for an ultrasound, tells me to keep moving it. I get the ultrasound, wait another 5 days, no call. I call them to find the case marked "no action". Amazing, thanks.. ~$200 💸 wasted.. and they expect me to pay another $40 to get "results" for the ultrasound? You've got to be joking. This is the worst medical experience I've ever had in my life with GPs. You guys should be ashamed. I don't see a doctor very often, but I've never had a doctor skip out on a callback, especially never from a private clinic.. If you're considering being a new patient with these people, choose carefully. I wouldn't recommend this clinic to anyone. Additionally, if you're a bloke, good luck. Majority of doctors here have no interest in men's health. Check their bio's and you'll see what I mean.

Took my adult son there this morning. He said the doctor was nice, the waiting room was comfortable. But as it was a Sunday morning, a bit expensive.

Can’t say enough about the lovely staff at this clinic. Our daughter had some terrible experiences with Drs in the past and always dreaded going. Dr Alison Lam is so lovely and gentle with her, our daughter now loves going to the Dr! Also, a huge thank you to Shea who helped us resolve our immunisation history after relocating her. The nurse who gave our daughter her latest immunisation was also fantastic with her. The reception staff are just lovely also. Thank you to Dr Lam, Shea and all the staff at Carina Medical

Courteous and friendly receptionists on the phone and on arrival at the surgery. Nurses station (including Nurse Min) - brilliant, caring and certainly do a great job. Dr Phil Wuth - THE best in all aspects of knowledge, care, compassion and a good listener. I have been attending this medical centre for many years and never had one issue. Appointment times usually run to schedule too! I would highly recommend Carina Medical and Specialist Centre.

I have been a patient of Philip and Greg Wuth for almost 15 years now. They (like all of their staff) are very friendly, kind, considerate and give great medical advice/care. They are a VERY fair priced clinic and I would recommend them to anyone.

Was relieved to find med centre open as I had acute pain Reception staff very nice and helpful. Dr Juergen was great and gave me a diagnosis and treatment quickly. He’s a lovely Dr with a friendly disposition and sense of humour.I highly recommend him So, thanks very much team! I feel better already!

Great service and very on time. We booked last min appointment on Sunday and DR Juergen was so lovely with my kids managed to see us at such a short notice, he put peace in my mind. Staff were all so lovely, it’s definitely our top option for the future.

Love this place came here because I wasn't getting results from my old doctors surgery. They have been very through Dr Katie Allen extremely knowledgeable from vitamins to stuff for cold and flu's she researches new things and is very knowledgeable. All the doctors I have seen here are the best Doctors! 👌 Its not bulk billing but worth it as it doesn't feel like they are rushing you. I feel listened to everytime

I am front-line emergency services and like all front line, we spend all our energy on helping others, not ourselves. We are like highly tuned engines running at full capacity without getting a service. Ms Rodrigues is an exceptional therapist who will give you the tools to ensure you are looking after yourself as well as others. I recommend Ms Rodrigues to you with the highest confidence.

Carina Medical is the best GP practice I have been to in my 60 years. They run efficiently which really helps with my busy schedule and the doctors I have seen there are caring and thorough. I don’t think I could ask for better in my GP, Dr Maia Fiser, she has always been so kind and happy to answer any questions I have. I do feel that she is thorough in her approach and never dismisses my concerns as nothing or not worth investigation.

Everyone is so friendly and so helpful. We were 40 minutes late due to intense traffic post floods (coming from Western suburbs) and no one batted an eyelid. Completely accommodating, saw me as soon as I arrived. Dr Reese was very helpful and professional, the admin lady (sorry, don’t know her name!) was so friendly and polite to deal with. This medical centre was recommended to me and I come all the way from Fig Tree Pocket - for good reason!

Called to see Dr Allen, who I had been recommended. First point of call was the lady on reception, who was friendly, helpful and pleasant to speak with. Then I had a consultation with Dr Allen who is lovely and was able to assist me with what was needed, she is checking on my bloods and also has recommended some other helpful alternatives for better health. I was very happy with my experience of the centre.

Cannot fault the service for this doctors surgery, came in today post night shift for an iron transfusion and the whole process was quick, informative and easy. The doctor and nurses warm, engaging and professional even allowed for a quick cat nap (always a bonus). Good service delivery especially for a lot of general practices not offering iron transfusions, highly recommend.

Carina Medical & Specialist Centre went above and beyond when I rocked up at their practice just before closure and provided the best possible service and attended my needs with the greatest care. Incredibly friendly and polite staff and no grumpy looking faces because they might have wanted to leave on time. Super professional.

I made the decision to book with Dr Alison Lam, after years of feeling rushed by several doctors and like my health concerns weren’t being taken seriously. Dr Alison is a breath of fresh air! She was attentive, thorough and empathetic towards my concerns and nothing was too much of a hassle for her. I was extremely impressed by her warm and professional nature. I visited this centre for some urgent first aid early in the morning with no notice, and having never been to this centre before. They treated me so well and were very kind and comforting. I had a great experience and felt well cared for by their treatment.

I LOVE this medical practice. As a first time mum I am over the top and so worried about everything with my daughter. The staff and doctors are always SO lovely, so informative and I always walk away feeling like all my questions have been answered with care and professionalism. I don’t feel like I’m a hassle or I’m asking something silly. They tick all the boxes and give an in-depth review of her always when I go in. The few times I’ve had to go to other practises (been on holiday etc) they barely seem to even check her. Every single team member at Carina Medical from the reception staff to the nurses and doctors are amazing I can’t thank them enough.

Stranger in town needing first aid on Boxing Day. Centre was open, able to book and pretty much on time. Service was helpful and friendly, doctor was quick and efficient and had damaged toe cleaned, stitched and dressed in no time. Happy holidaymaker!

Great receptionists who go above and beyond to help and common sense caring doctors who are able to give peace of mind and listen with no fuss. The whole team is great and very knowledgeable. We have moved and I'm still travelling here because they are really good!!!

Very happy with the doctors and nurses at Carina Medical. We have been going for years, and even when our regular GP is unavailable, we always have a good experience with any of the others. The nurses are amazing and always make us feel very welcome. We have recently moved out of the area but still make the drive here when we need to see a doctor.

Got my flu shot today. All the staff I have dealt with have always been very professional and caring. The friendly nurses always make you feel at ease. I recommend Carina Medical & Specialist Centre based on my experiences visiting this practice. Plenty of off street parking.

I haven’t been to the doctors in over a year and I would normally go somewhere that bulk bills. Today was my first time here through recommendation and I’m grateful I made the choice to come to this doctors clinic. Although they don’t bulk bill, the service and feeling of being heard and looked after outweighs anything else. I saw Dr Nikki and she listened, took into account what I was sharing, asked lots of questions and shared valuable feedback. They are very efficient and I was seen not long after my appointment time. Anywhere else I would have waited well over 30-45 minutes and I barely waited 10 minutes. I received over half of my payment back through Medicare which was awesome too! Thank you for such a great experience!
