As somebody who worked for a healthcare company for three years - I would highly recommend the attribute of ‘compassion’ to your receptionist team. The people that are calling you (myself included) are either unwell or in pain. It doesn’t feel great to be spoken to so cruelly when you’re already feeling awful. I certainly don’t expect any employee to be ‘cheerful’ for me - but I definitely don’t expect to be treated with rudeness either. After being a returning client for a while now, I’m also pretty disappointed that I was charged $80 for a two minute appointment for a medical certificate…. You are funded by the government and receive a fee regardless of how you charge - it’s pretty disappointing that you’re using paper clients as cash cows on those six figure incomes…

This Top Health Doctors is definately best avoided. Their receptionist and or practice manager is so rude as many reviews highlight before mine. They are not interested in the welfare and consideration of the patient or their family. I would recommend you look elsewhere for a Doctor as I know not only I have moved, but some of their best doctors have left too.

Dr. Ho is an exceptional Doctor and always has time for his patients. He has a huge workload, but is very obliging with his time. Reception and nursing staff compliment this practice.

Wrong Medicine Prescribed ---- Top Health Doctors Cannon Hill permeates professional staff and a friendly environment. However, my GP prescribed me the wrong medicine. During my consultation session, I specifically indicated that I had diarrhea for two days but with no stomach pain. He also physically checked it and confirmed there was no stomach pain. However, he prescribed me Buscopan, which is for stomach cramps. As my situation has not improved for additional two days, I went to a different doctor who then prescribed me Gastrostop. My situation has improved.

I was seeing a Dr regularly for a basic migraine preventative script & these appointments were paid in full every time. My last appointment was via Tele health & lasted all of 3 minutes. The receptionist very rudely contacted me within minutes on the consultation to say my payment didn’t go through. I checked my details & they were correct but this girl continued to call & harass me every hour even though she knew I was at work. I paid the bill manually the following day as the calls never stopped, it was ridiculous. Then I find out, because I complained about the service, to be petty, the Doctor cancelled all of my repeats on my e-script (that I had paid for). Unfortunately I only found this out yesterday when I went to access it. Because I didn’t have this medication or access to a Dr quickly my migraine set in within an hour and I had to be taken to hospital for treatment. This is the most unprofessional behaviour from a Doctor that I have ever encountered.

I can't speak about all, but Dr Aydami is among the best GPs I have visited. Calm and clear explanations, and there is no feeling that he is rushing to get you out (so he can move on to another payment). My appointments are generally within 10 minutes of the due time, the chairs are comfortable and the staff courteous.

The GPs are fabulous and so are the receptionists!! . I work at the clinic 2 days per week (am a Psychologist) and I'm delighted with their professionalism and friendly helful approach. If my clinical rooms weren't at Top Health Cannon Hill I would certainly be a patient! .

Very irresponsive, unprofessional. I have my blood test done on the 19th May, 2023 via a referral of Dr Aydami for my surrogate process. However, my result was still not given as of today 13th of Jun, 2023, almost a month of waiting. I was suggested that I will received in a week which is 26th May for my surrogate process. This is the second time they made mistake, the first time I was give the wrong medicine, and now my blood test was not given, I have called on three times, the last time one receptionist said they will follow up. This is frustrating and unreasonable.

No longer bulk bill?!! I have come to this clinic for ages and out of no where i have to pay to see a doctor?!? Rude receptionist when i tried to explain that i never had to pay before and all a sudden i do now?! Im sorry but when your own receptionist can not explain this matter. Im no longer coming back felt like i was very unwelcomed. None of the other receptioniest jumped into explained. All the lady said we haven't bulk billed since (2017) not accurate date but years ago. And i have been coming here for years... Never had to pay...

I previously saw Dr Danieletto when he consulted at Coorparoo clinic, he is a great doctor too bad he transferred to this clinic. From the get go the receptionist was rude and unprofessional, I told her I had cold symptoms but she said due to COVID I wasn’t allowed to go in. How is someone supposed to get well if they can’t see a doctor. Well I decided to go to my local clinic and they took me in with no problems. Avoid this clinic admin staff are extremely rude and condescending and need some serious re training in customer service skills.

Dr Aydami was excellent. He asked all the right questions and got me into a scan within 30 mins after the appointment. Excellent service and highly recommend him for caring and effective work.

I found All the staff very efficient , professional and friendly. I was looking around for a new local GP and found Top Doctors Cannon Hill the right choice. The Doctors have been excellent, going beyond what I came in for to cover my future health needs. All the staff, including the Phlebotomist onsite, are total pros.

Top health doctors, and especially Jennifer An, my GP is the best Doctor I have had for years. All a client can wish for is a genuine person to take care of me, and even though she hasn't been able to solve my nervous problem, no one's tried harder. I so thank you Jennifer. Warren Martin.

This doctor is a JOKE, a lady who was beyond first aid treatment was almost refused service at this doctors. The most trained people who wouldn't step up to there responsibility of duty of care didn't want to help sham sham sham it's all about the money. GP are only good for scripts they go to university for many years to do this but can't provide any other help unless you paying them. The receptionist is a rude uneducated idiot.

I attended Top Health Doctors at Cannon Hill today and met a really lovely lady Doctor. I have been in Brisbane 10 years and at last found a really good Doctors surgery. I have been a patient there now for about a year and find them very good.

Great doctors located inside shopping complex. Clean and professional! Doctor and nurse we saw today were absolutely lovely. Receptionists on the way in and out were kind and welcoming. Wish I went here sooner.

Dr Anmar Aydami was patient, thorough and he made a huge difference to my blocked ear. He took time to explain anatomy, to explain the procedure. Definitely one of the better Gp experiences I have had. I will definitely return to this practice.

Efficient and friendly staff - reception staff are probably one of the friendlier ones I've ever encountered in a medical clinic. Easy to book or cancel online. Doctor was great - her manner was very reassuring.

Chose it for proximity to home originally and it turns out to be the best practise since I've moved to Australia 7 years ago, across QLD and NSW. Dr Jennifer An is just great. Listens to you, genuinely tries to diagnose the root cause of the issues and looks for solution through comprehensive tests straight away when necessary. None of the all to common "have some rest or paracetamol and your problems will go away".

I booked my daughter to see Dr Kavitha this morning at Top health Cannon hill. The receptionist knew that Dr Kavitha was running late. She informed other 2 patients waiting for their appointments about Dr being late but not me. One patient was before me and one was after me. The receptionist was so racist that when I actually gone to check with her if the doctor is running late, she rudely answered me and didn’t even bother to come to me to inform. She didn’t even apologised How rude. Also she informed one patient that this Doctor has always been running late and the doctor is never on time Now what type of a receptionist they are and how they are getting paid for this job. So pathetic service.

Arrived and was told there's still 2 people in front of me, I arrived early 5mins. Waited 30mins pass my appointment. Asked what's going after 5 people were called in. They said I was next but still waited another 20 mins. Just another doctors surgery who can't manage time well Expect to wait long!

Considering that doctor visits aren't a top attraction for some of us. I found this doctor surgery very comforting. Staff were helpful and made the whole process seem easy. I know in most cases,waiting times can be a bore but my first visit was minimal which was great. Dr Chan was also helpful in that he seemed to be like.(we'll get this sorted) which I very much liked. No Bulk Bill but don't mind paying for good service. Definately be returning future visits

Since you cross the door, you feel welcome and cared. Lovely service from the ladies in the front desk (not easy to find in this kind of places). Dr Aydami attended me, first time I meet him, yet I felt comfortable. He took his time to listen very patiently. I never felt rushed. Since his first suspicious of my condition he was really persistent until he found the problem. Literally he saved my life. life saver

I really like this surgery. I don’t have private healthcare but never mind paying to see Dr Jennifer. She has a caring nature and always explains things clearly. She’s been our “go-to” doctor for our little boy.

Super friendly and hardly any wait. I took my son here to get his 12 month shots and they were amazing with him.

The doctors are fine and competent however the receptionists are incredibly unfriendly. One in particular has an abrupt attitude and never smiles when greeting patients. I mean, that’s essentially their job , to greet patients isn’t it? So unprofessional.

Would rate 0. Comes up top of the search as no gap fee for OSHC on Allianz. Proceeds to charge you more than double the MBS code without any warning. Called afterwards to see why they charged more; to which they claimed that it's not up to them.. seems kinda scammy when I was referred to them by the insurance company. I know it's more of an Allianz problem, but very poorly handled by the staff on-site and through the phone considering I had to liaise multiple times to rectify the situation.

The RUDEST staff I have ever encountered. I have been here over a dozen times and I do not know why I return. I could only JUST tolerate the horrible service when it was entirely bulk billed but you have to pay for most visits now. My entire extended family have all been here at some point say the exact same thing, the experience is never pleasant. Kah Ho is bad tempered and rude, and Eric Chai has less than zero people skills. Even if you get a friendly doctor such as Jennifer An or Kuan-Yi Chen the experience is ruined by the atrocious reception staff (such as Pamela) who are unapproachable and unhelpful. Why be a medical receptionist if you hate greeting/assisting people? I cannot stress this enough; the receptionists are like nothing I’ve ever experienced (just read the reviews below). Late EVERY single time. I understand, appointments run long! but expect doctors to be late by AT LEAST 15-20 minutes every single visit. (I once waited 40 minutes without the medical receptionist saying so much as “sorry for the wait, shouldn’t be too much longer”). Credit where credit is due, the nurses out the back and the pathology staff out the front have always been fine. I will never return to this clinic as I cannot bring myself to fork out a single cent to be treated so poorly. READ THE OTHER REVIEWS. You have been warned – just go elsewhere! Highly recommend! Convenient location and easy booking with the HealthEngine app. Reception staff have always been wonderfully friendly and Dr Kavitha is by far the best GP I've seen in years.

Went there to get prescription for cold/flu, got hunted out like a dog with rabies, the receptionist was so rude, told me I have to get Covid test before we can see you, went and got test, now have to wait up to 4 days for results, so now sitting at home suffering with no antibiotics as dr won’t see me till Covid tests are back . So how I see it is that Covid puts any other illness on the back burner

One of the best GP clinic this side of town. Have been here few times, one time I got injured and the Dr stitched up my wounds even though I was a walk in without appt. Was so impressed I even came back to get both my Covid shots.

Dr Jennifer An is a lovely doctor. She is always thorough and understanding. All staff are great. Will continue to go to this clinic.

What a joke. Went in my lunch break and was never even seen! After waiting 45 minutes I asked the receptionist who said he was still on the phone! I did not have time to wait and left. Inconsiderate not to tell patients they are late. Btw they do not bulk bill. Chairs are not spaced, making it uncomfortable. Not enough room for prams. 1 star only for the apologetic young receptionist with pink hair.

I got the first pfizer covid vaccine from here. The Asian female Dr was so rude and unfriendly. Booked for 2nd vaccine other place! Never want to go back there

Some of the review says the Reception is rude. I'm surprised how rude she was. I don't know if she was in bad mood or she doesn't know how to talk to person. I've never had such a low quality bad customer service.

I am upset to have to rate this practice so low today. Before today I have had only positive experiences at this practice, however, 20 minutes before my appointment this afternoon I was called and informed my appointment would no longer be bulk billed. I agreed to still attend the appointment as I had already started driving to the practice. After arriving at the practice I asked about the possibility of having my appointment bulk billed because it was simply for a script. I was told only one doctor does this on rare occasions. Once I went into the doctors office I was in there for no longer than 2 minutes. He simply checked my blood pressure and then emailed me my script. I am very upset that my family and I have attending this practice for over 3 years and now suddenly I am charged around $35 out of pocket for a 2 minute appointment! Unfortunately after attending this practice for 3 years I will no longer be attending. Thank you for your service over the last 3 years but unfortunately $70 for a 2 minute appointment is absolutely disgraceful.

We had a lovely doctor helping with toddler vaccinations but when the next one due, it was impossible to book it in. No-one is even answering the phone so not possible to arrange anything but a tele-health appointment online. Can you vaccinate my child over the phone? Are you planning to be closed until there is no Covid in society?

Yvonne the nurse here is the absolute greatest at giving any types of vaccines. My two daughters and myself have been to see her a number of times. She is so fast and you virtually feel nothing. Please pass this feedback on to her as we love coming to see her.

This clinic is great, friendly, helpful staff and really convenient. In recent times I have seen Dr An. She is so thorough, knowledgeable and really cares about people. I would enthusiastically recommend her to my nearest and dearest. Admin are friendly and caring and above and beyond helpful. And it's reasonably priced.

My husband attended today and despite having only 1 doctor available my wait was short and the assistance I required was excellent. I felt very comfortable. I would also like to comment on the lady who was at the reception counter. She was very polite, presented in a happy spirit and was most helpful during my visit, As I was waiting to see the doctor I watched how she dealt with patients. She was polite, cheery and very helpful assisting them to ensure their payment and any Medicare rebate was processed immediately,

I’m new to the area and I real enjoyed the friendly demeanour from both receptionists, one who I spoke to on the phone, and the other face to face. They were very helpful and understanding. So thank you. And I really appreciated the doctors time, help, and effort in rendering me his best level of care, as I’ve been quite sick. Friendly front of desk staff. Dr Jennifer looked after my daughter very well. Solved her issue and made her feel comfortable n safe. The Pathologist also was great n friendly and let me daughter feel safe n not scared as she is very scared of needles. Very happy. Thank you
