    I had a spine MRI done yesterday. I wasn't going to leave a review, but I didn't enjoy my experience and thought others should know about it. I don't know the name of the lady that did my scan, but I think she had an Irish accent. I've done others MRIs in the past and I don't usually have problem with it. But I left there thinking that IF I was claustrophobic or something, the lady wouldn't have helped either. I felt really rushed. She didn't even asked me if I was wearing any metal or had any metal in my clothes. She didn't help me to feel at ease at all. As soon as I entered the room, was like: Get in bed and I will do your scan as quick as possible. I wasn't told what the procedure was going to be like. She even told me I had to wear a mask to be inside the machine. I'm no doctor, but what's the point of wearing a mask inside the MRI for half an hour I I'm not going to have contact with if anyone and no one will be in the room with me? At least when I asked if I really needed to wear one and said I might feel claustrophobic she allowed me not wear it. Not to mention that when I arrived at reception, she was not wearing a mask? She might be good with the technical part of the scan, but in my opinion she needs to get better with the human side of it, which in my opinion is just as important. Especially in her position. I hope this review helps her to improve her service and others can benefit from it on next visits.

    I find front counter staffs not helpful at all. I forgot to bring my daughter's referral form (paper) and asked one of the staff the first thing when I arrived, if I could still proceed with the appointment and then email through the form. She told me it was fine and gave me an email address to email through the referral form when I get home. Forward an hour later, I was still waiting at the waiting area. Then I followed up with another stuff to see what was happening. Apparently my baby was not even signed in. It turned out that it was a misunderstanding because she thought I had the referral form in my email. Anyhow, I was just so frustrated with the waiting and the whole misunderstanding. I had to reschedule another appointment which is 2 weeks later. There was not a single apology from the miscommunication at all. I am very frustrated and disappointed with the poor customer service.

    This is a wonderful service. Firstly the people who work here are kind, professional, calm, friendly, and efficient, which helped put me at ease and to feel very comfortable. They explained everything I needed to know and the appointments ran smoothly. I needed to come on 2 consecutive days as needed 2 parts of the body MRI'd. It took me less than a week to get an appointment (which was fast for a non-urgent situation), they used medicare with the machine to help with the costs and were far better priced than the other places I called (and able to get me in faster) . I was also able to come at 9pm at night, which meant I didn't need to take time off from work, there was no traffic and easy parking. Thank you to Lumus and your wonderful staff here for providing such a great service, which I highly recommend to others.

    Staffs are very friendly and helpful, MRI in the evening is a great option, it is a lot easier to find parking spot at Kogarah.

    Friendly staff, great out of business hours time slots for scan. Reasonably priced compared to others.
