Hawkesbury River Bridge

Bridge

๐Ÿ˜ Have travelled across many a time and deserves more respect, better than the harbour bridge but pails in comparison to the mighty Gladesville - automatically loses two stars for being in the central coast and allowing bogans to go to Sydney, always a good time and many a memory shared - Shez People often mention bridge,

Nothing better then crossing this bridge, it is how you truly know you are on the coast and leaving all of Sydney behind. Drive over at sunrise and get a beautiful view of the boat launch and the people there starting their day of fun.

Great views of the river, seemingly structurally sound, so I canโ€™t see how it doesnโ€™t deserve a 5/5. :)

Went fishing at Hawkesbury river and went through under the bridge. Nice area!

Weโ€™ve all driven across the bridge at speed heading North or South ~ but to be on a boat and go under it between the navigation markers is something else. You sometimes wonder how we ever once didnโ€™t have it.

Great views of a lovely river, hardworking boats and speeding cars. If you don't see some fella trying to overtake someone while driving at least 10 over the speed limit at least once a day, buy yourself a lottery ticket. The bridge itself is newer and more contemporary than its older brother on the right-hand side but it's not as much of an eyesore as you probably think it could be. Will recommend to bridge enthusiasts as part of a two for one deal. (Peats Ferry bridge: the one next to it is a must go if you visit this bridge).

Beautiful views. Little traffic on early Saturday morning. Great stretch of road. Such a pleasurable drive.
