Love this little hidden gem. A perfect spot for walking, going for a picnic or just relaxing 😍 There is also a bathing spot for swimming, also with toilet facilities. Kid friendly (they also include a kids park) 15 minutes walk from the train station.

Top little reserve and playground for a visit. Kids would love the playground and the rocks to climb on. Right next door is a gorgeous cafe Blackfish cafe.

Delightful park set beside the Georges River. Easiest to get here by car or train. A number of paved paths lead around past a cafe and marina. Very relaxing.

The Como Pleasure Grounds truly offer a delightful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Nestled by the serene lakeside, this destination boasts a wonderful combination of natural beauty and historical intrigue. The opportunity to leisurely stroll along the water's edge or relax under the shade of towering trees makes for a perfect picnic outing with friends and family. One of the highlights is undoubtedly the historic Como House, which provides a captivating glimpse into the past. The architecture and design tell a story of a bygone era, transporting visitors back in time. The well-maintained grounds around the house further contribute to the nostalgic atmosphere. While the grounds provide an excellent setting for relaxation, it's important to note that the range of activities available might not cater to everyone's preferences. Those seeking more dynamic or active pursuits might find themselves wanting more options. However, if you're seeking a tranquil escape to connect with nature and history, the Como Pleasure Grounds are a picturesque choice. In conclusion, the Como Pleasure Grounds offer a charming blend of history, nature, and relaxation. The lakeside setting and the opportunity to explore the Como House make for a unique and enjoyable experience. Despite some limitations in terms of activity variety, it remains a place of beauty and serenity that is well worth a visit.

This area is just beautiful! Perfect for all families. A lovely park with a loop walk, a few cafes down by the water and a shallow pool for children to swim in. Lots of trees and natural area. Peak season can be challenging at times to get a parking spot.

Nice casual place to hang out, picnic, bring the kids. Nice on a summers night. Parking can be a bit ugh though. If picnicking, ring a trolley or buggy to transport your stuff in case you don’t get a park close. Nice lights in the park Jan 2022

Great location for the park. Playground has been updated but not a lot of equipment suitable for my grandchildren’s age. Nice BBQ and table and chairs.

We had a bit of an explore here after having lunch at the pub just up the road. Playground, lots of plants, birds everywhere, a cafe next to the swimming baths and separate above ground pool, nice clean toilet facilities and of course lots to see out on the waterway

Water views, easy walking trail paths by the water and over the Como bridge. Cafes and takeaway food options, kid safe pools and playground areas, dog friendly (on a leash). Hidden gem for picnics and walks.

Great place for a picnic or just to walk around. There is even a tiny beach. Must be the smallest beach I have ever seen. Barbecue areas and fish and chips are also available.

We frequently walk over the Como bridge to enjoy this beautiful area. Lots of families picnicking and catching up on this Fathers Day weekend. Kids always get an icecream and then explore around, while we enjoy the waterviews and scenery. Always a nice day to be had at Como Pleasure Grounds.

Como pleasure grounds is great place for a walk with the dog or family picnics. There's a good cafe there and bbqs for your sausage sangers. Lovely water views make it the perfect place to spend a few hours.

Great family area with pool, extensive playground, walkways, river boat hire and a pub with views. Walk from Oatley across the bridge or drive. The simple things in life are the best.

This is a great place to swim as it is close to the como train station, it is also a nice walk from oatley train station. There is a jetty, a filtered pool, a cafe. The water quality has been known to be poor for years in this area so I would not recommend it after heavy rain fall and the oysters are everywhere so jumping off the jetty and climbing up the ladder is probably better than going through the sand.
