Lady took time to check me in then my key didn’t work on my door. Rooms are a good size with Tea/ Coffee, AC, Sky Sports/ Racing channels on the TV. Good price under $100. Pub has $16 Meals. Schooners are $5.80.

Was waiting for the bus outside the premises and was told by a very aggressive and rude security guard that I had to leave the premises immediately - and given I hadn't even gone inside at all I don't understand why that occurred and the guard got even more aggressive when I asked why. Completely unacceptable behaviour.

Someone opened door at 12.30am, disturbing. When asked who was that they showed the same room number key card was provided to them. Is that joke? Dont staffs know which room is occupied or not? This place is joke. This is serious privacy issue.

As it was raining heavily I decided to have lunch here .the chicken with prawn topping was tasty . the dressing was a bit weird as it looked lacy.the salad was good .the grapefruit mocktail was delicious.

This is the worst experience I have ever had in my whole life experiences. We felt humiliated and discriminated. My and my friends are regular on this place, went to gaming zone to enjoy some pokies. As soon as we enter, the security guy gave us dirty look, I am not sure if that was because we were nepalese or was not aussie or Chinese. This happens every time. My friend was just playing within gaming protocol, out of nowhere, the security guy comes and very rudely interrupts him again and again; clearly he had issue with us from beginning. When my friend tries to resolve the issue and asks if there is any problem or issues he’s got with us, he threatens to meet outside and have a fight. I have never seen any security asking for a fight. This kind of behaviour and attitude are unacceptable. If he is being racist, if I see him treat the same way again to another nepalese, I will seriously have issue and seek for legal action. Thanks for bob and the night manager Hugo trying to deescalate the situation which he should be doing in first place.

I don't know the rooms but I always go to this hotel to buy food...the food in this place is wonderful!!! I always order schnitzel parmigiana...and my husband orders the schnitzel with shrimp sauce 🍤 in our opinion it's the tastiest chicken in sydney! the kitchen chef is also very friendly and does everything with great care!!!

Have never stayed here before but were very happy with the service! Room was very fresh for such an old historic building. Thank you Georgio

Extremely rude staff in gaming room, she was giving dirty looks and questioning about the smallest things. They have no problem taking my money but when it comes to customer service absolute garbage.

Customer service is really great, especially the manager Jaredd, he was so helpful and kind and made us feel at home. I will stay again.

Place is not bad for a local. But if not not for a certain hostess ‘Saige’ she made it 5/5 place in terms of customer service. I couldn’t ask for a better person. It made my day and that’s more than I can say for other hotels/pubs Beat. 👍🏻

Great meals, especially the surf and turf. Very generous, quickly prepared and tasty.

Lots of TV for sports viewing. A few pool tables. Good place to spend a few hours

Food was ok for the price. Nothing spectacular. Normal pub food and seating. Service was friendly.

I’ve stayed in a lot of motels in my life and I try and be fair but I’d rate the rooms as being awful. TV not working, shower awful and rooms that are the size of a postage stamp. For $125 a night I’d have been better off sleeping in the car. Do yourselves a favour and look elsewhere!

To Ritz management, I am.begging you pls put some music on and let people enjoy some atmosphere. I get it you love football and horse racing but what about other people that don't follow this type of thing? The only reason people turn up to this place is because of the food which is great value and as soon as they finish eating I notice they leave. Maybe have a small section with some music playing you might just be surprised how people will gravitate to that area. Then they will eat drink, and have an enjoyable night out.

I’ve been coming here for awhile now… never had anything to complain about until last night My mate and I had been in the gaming area … when she jumped on a machine that had not been reserved … later to be approached by the gentleman that had been on it prior… He’d made an approach reiterating that it was his machine and he was on it … reminding him that he’d not put a reserve on the machine … He then became verbally abusive, my mate refusing to move until he made an apology …long story short security came making no efforts to de diffuse the situation… I approached him twice asking why had he not shut it down already … with no response … shift manager came then went to check cctv footage returning to explain to the abusive patron that he had indeed not reserved the machine… he made a number of verbal threats … still no response by both security or management … This guy was well over 6 foot somewhat semi intoxicated verbally abusive and intimidating …to then still be allowed to remain on the premises and return to his machine… Highly unprofessional… but I guess his patronage feeds their machines and continues their pay check … If the guy had of been of colour they would have exited him in no time … P.S I guess I’ll be having to find my lamb chop meal somewhere else now lol.

Stopped in here for a quiet drink & a nice meal, service & staff fantastic, area beautiful & our meal...Wow!! Recommend the steak, amazing. Thankyou.

Friendly staff who are always smiling & provide very good customer service

A very clean and modern pub throughout. Great amount of televisions for sports, racing etc. Agreeable beverage and food pricing and friendly service to top. Will be back.

I have been in this place a couple of times, everyone was friendly and I came after Easter I saw a new bartender I asked for his name and he said Hugo, he is very friendly and respectful and he loves interacting with customers and he knows what he’s doing, I had a great experience with this hotel and will return!

Stayed here for a while about 18 months ago. I am still owed a refund of hundreds of dollars. I never got it and the licensee kept saying he was trying to sort it out. Just fobbed me off I guess. The small rooms are so depressing. Fridge didn't work. Toilet leaked. I am owed a refund sort it out!

Rooms are old but spacious. Bed was reasonably comfortable. Lots of hot water, bar fridge, kettle with tea and coffee. Unfortunately there shower keeps dripping and the air conditioner remote control had flat batteries.Super friendly staff when checking in. Close to the train station and eateries. Pub underneath the hotel. If the price is affordable I'd stay here again

The food here used to be great! Not sure what has happened but it seems to have gone down hill 👎👎The most stale burger bun I have ever tasted.

Nice meals albeit typical pub food, wide range of beers, good place to watch sports. The stairwell to accommodation rooms is disconcerting(all steel and angled). Rooms are passable but noisy.

Customer service was impeccable, the place was clean and tidy. Pool table has tap and go. Great atmosphere too.

More of a sports bar in the centre of hurstville. Bit plain outside of the pokies area though difficult to change due to the large open area. Outside vovered area to watch the world go buy. Food was good. Not a place that you go wow. Caters for those in wheelchairs with ramps as well as stairs.

Good spot for some pub grub and sitting back on a few beers to watch the footy on a Friday or Saturday night. Located in a good spot along Hurstvilles main road and close to the station. Chicken parmy’s are on point!
