Amazing location, very poor service. Our drinks came after 25 mins and we're still waiting for our panini and toast - we've ordered like an hour ago. I would give it only a star but the location is nice

€25 for two people or €30 for one, doesn’t make much sense!. The waitress never returned with my drink either after thirty minutes. The beach at this end is dirty also. Don’t waste your time here. Much nicer spots available elsewhere.

Overpriced beach bar with scenic view Came here to enjoy a glass of Aperol Spritz at sunset. A glass of spritz is about 5 Euro in a regular restaurant in Palermo, although there are terraces, even on the super-touristy Maqueda Street, that will charge you just 3 Euro per glass. Anyway, at Ombelico del Mondo Mondello, they charged me 8 Euro for a glass of Aperol Spritz! That’s an absolute record for Palermo region, especially in June 2020, shortly after the pandemic peak in Italy. Despite the overpriced booze, the view over Mondello bay at sunset is really scenic.

Great beach club with amazing views and good cocktails for 8 euros. They have nice tables on the beach side so you can fully chill there. I didn’t tried any food but will be back for sure for more nice experience

Nice place front beach good salads easy welcome but some tables, front beach, are not available despite they are exactly like the others, we couldn't receive explanation for that so we enjoyed view and food from a second line table. Overall a good place and the only one open in this season

Worst service ever, made contact with three waiters, all waved off. After more than five minutes, 4 waiters where standing at the stairs to the beach chatting with each other or texting on the phone, I asked really loud, who I have to talk to, to get my order. Finally! Aperol Spritz 10€, decide for yourself if it is worth it! Btw, even thought one way plastic goods are forbidden since 2021, they had plastic straws, plastic olive pickers and aluminium trays for the olives. On the outside they have WWF posters about what plastic does to the ocean. Made my day in a bad way...

A nice bar located on the beach of Palermo. It is popular and we went there for an afternoon drink. Service is fast and efficient, and we enjoyed our rest here

Good food and drinks no matter what time of day you go. Wish we had found this place earlier in our trip to Mondello. Really reasonable prices, too!

Nice beach. Well served by cafes and restaurants. Sea food and normal pasta dishes. Area a tad worn and dated. Only one of the beach showers working. Only one public toilet working also. 50 cents per person. Had to put all paper in a bin. Not down the toilet. Streets quite tatty also.

Would’ve given 4* because the beach is nice; white sand & clear water, lovely for swimming. Lacks facilities like toilets though (found 1 pay for public toilet which was pretty disgusting), tourism info was super rude and unhelpful, and getting the bus back is a tourist trap. This was the worst part; Pack too many on the bus so they can’t even reach the driver to buy a ticket (and they insist you get on without a ticket) then the ticket officers happen to get on the bus a few stops down, get their quota of 2-3 people each off the bus (always foreign people, girls aged 18-30) and demand you pay €100 each. Needs to be sorted out, we won’t visit again or recommend anyone does, unless they drive themselves.

If youre from Italy, then youll probably have a nice time but as an english speaking person they just refuse to take you order even if you go to the bar and ask twice while you sit. You can either heat up duolingo and speak italian or dont go There at all.

It's an ok beach, but rather expensive and there were only about 5 people ahead of us in the queue, but we had to wait over half an hour to be seated. In fact, come to think of it, the place opens at 09:00 and had only served number 30 in an hour.

they made our last day of vacation perfect! hospitable and always cheerful staff! we enjoyed the beach music played by the DJ! There are free showers, and a toilett nearby (,0,50€) . good antipasti and snacks, nice bar. 2 sunbeds and umbrella - 20 EUR , September 26th.

Place is OK. For 35 euro you will get 2 sunbeds, chair, exotic umbrella and 2 drinks. Aperol 8 euro... Food is fine. We spend whole day on this beach. Full recommend but try to have eyes open on your stuff 🙄

Possibly the worst service I've experienced. Asked if we could be served at the sunbeds, still we got asked to leave because of some other booking. Very rude. Staff are terribly unattentive, we had to run after them to remind them all the time. They asked if I wanted my drink with ice, I said no but still got my drink with ice. Overpriced and low quality. Tuna salad without much tuna. The only thing that they were quick to do was billing, the second we received our food.

This café is perfectly situated on the beach with a very nice view and can definitely recommend it if you want to sit facing the sea with a drink in hand. The big problem is the price and quality aspect. A 500ml oils.beer costs 6 euro.... Prices at Oktoberfest in Bavaria are cheaper. The food was also nothing special. So it is mostly to avoid except for an occasion.

My husband and I came to mondello as part of our honeymoon and the staff in this bar couldn't do enough. We don't speak any Italian but the team were fantastic and very attentive, great location, great music, great drinks and super friendly staff!

Very cozy chairs on the beach and nice atmosphere. There is playground for kids.

A really nice apartment, set on the side of a beautiful mountain with incredible views over Mondello Bay.
