I started at this academy, have trained here for two years and couldn’t imagine training anywhere else. Professor Marcos Nevel has a wealth of knowledge, being trained directly by the Gracie family and is a great teacher. The secondary teacher, Stephan, is very knowledgeable and extremely experienced. The teachers and staff are caring, respectful and friendly towards students. Everyone looks after each other; Everybody goes to learn and have a good time. It’s a very positive environment to learn, and quickly begins to feel like family. Work hard, humble yourself, have a positive mindset, show respect, and have a willingness to learn and you’ll grow to love this academy as much as I do.

I started training Jiu Jitsu here at the beginning of the year and I don't know why I didn't start sooner. It is such a great workout for the mind and body and it has become part of my life. Gracie BJJ Castle Hill have definitely become my second family. There is a dedicated team to train with and it's addictive, fun and challenging. Starting Jiu-Jitsu at an un-fit age of 43 seems like it should be daunting and difficult, but not at Gracie castle hill. Marcos and his team go out of their way to make you feel welcome and carefully help/instruct through everything. I love it, and am starting to improve fitness in a great fun way. Information and technique overload every class. A life changer for me!!!

Switched from Smeaton Grange to Castle Hill Academy after moving house. Smeaton Grange was great and I've found the same to be true of Gracie Castle Hill Academy. There's a great atmosphere of friendliness and respect here. The Instructor Marcos is friendly, welcoming and a great teacher. I've only met good people here. Great place for kids and adults of all shapes and sizes. Highly recommend this Academy!!✌️

Great academy for people who want to learn both self defence and sport jiu jitsu. The head instructor has learned directly from the Gracie family themselves, who were the original masters of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and has the highest level qualifications to teach the art. Most important thing when choosing a martial arts gym is the environment and people who train there. I have trained here for 8 years and have visited other gyms around the world but this is one of the friendliest and most welcoming academies I have trained at.

Joined here a little over a month. My shy 4yr old boy loves it here. I can really feel his concentration and confidence has improved drastically. The teachers here are awesome and makes it very enjoyable for the kids. Highly recommend this place!
