I had the opportunity to come here during my after school photography club at Oceanside High School to take photos of their food. The restaurant is clean and has a positive vibe. We were provided with a variety of different foods and a nice area to shoot photos. The foods were all beautifully plated, each having their own details to make them stand out. This helped with making the photos that I and other students shot look enticing. I felt very welcomed here and I would definitely come back and bring my family to explore the other foods that they have here.

First time eating here while we were visiting with friends. Nice ambiance. The place was busy already for a Saturday at 3pm. We ended up waiting about 25 minutes for a table to be seated. Big bar area. They also have outdoor seating. Good appetizers and meals. They serve beer, wine and specialty cocktails. Servers were very nice as well.

1st time We sat outside it was completely covered. Very dog friendly, we even brought a dog. Nice place for kids. From the appetizers to the main course I found everything to be delicious and very visually appealing to the eye. The staff is very friendly and polite. LTH is worth a second visit.

Great food and service!!! We had fish chips, blt & the salmon. Great portions and our waitress was super attentive. She followed up with us and check in. We sat inside because it was kind of gloomy but they also offer outside seating. Salmon was cooked to perfection.

I want to say 4.5 stars but when given a choice between 4 or 5 I chose 4. :/ Sorry everyone, the food was very delectable and the beer and drink selection were more than satisfactory. I think the price point was truly fair and I will most likely come back again. I took my husband and older two teenage kids with us here at LTH today for the first time. My oldest has been here before and enjoyed the atmosphere and food with her friends and their families. Lovely little open air spot in downtown Oceanside. I wish our service had been a little more friendly, but she did her job and she did it competently. We’ll still tipped her well and tried to share our smiles because everyone is allowed to just have a day. Especially when you work in the service industry. I’m happy to say this is a fabulous establishment in downtown O’side and I hope they’re here to stay for quite some time to come.

We had great service well I was there but order 3 different drinks that they ended up being out of. Food was good. Definitely will go back and change my stars up if they have what we want.

Fun spot for good drinks local draft beer. Also shared my favorite menu items. We had the black and blue roasted brussel sprouts and short ribs on French fries served poutine style.

Stopped in from out of town with family. Our experience was quite mixed. First and foremost the staff was very friendly. The cocktails were also very good. The chorizo burger was also super delicious and not too heavy surprisingly. However, someone at our table got the corn salad and it had..... like no corn. Additionally, it seemed like they were severely understaffed in regards to the kitchen. Drinks came fast and often but our food took over an hour and one of our guests didn't even get their food then. Not sure what happened but when they went to check on it, it took at least another half hour to get his meal. We saw a lot of tables experiencing the same delays but they left for that reason. Surely would be higher rated if it didn't have that glaring issue with food service wait times.

Raunchy peanut butter on my toes makes ordering slop easier to fork. Had a belligerent time here with my mates while we discussed poor people's rights and wrote our social security numbers in the bathroom stall. Many things can be said about Johnny our server, but he's the nicest guy out there, keep on rocking in the free world. Oceanside's most likely to give you a panic attack restaurant, top 10.

This place was super nice. Loved the garage doors and rustic feel. Had the pecan crusted salmon, and it was the bomb. Sooooo good!! Came with mashed sweet potatos and balsamic drisseled brussel sprouts. FANTASTIC!!

Local Tap House is a great place. I've been here maybe 3 or 4 times. I like sitting outside and getting a couple of cocktails and appetizers. Spicy margarita was delicious. I also really liked the shrimp and chorizo egg rolls as well as the deviled eggs of the day. I've also had the pretzel in the past which was tasty. Good service as well!

My sandwich was delicious, but my friend did not enjoy their empanadas. The chicken was dry, and they forgot to put the sauce on it. Waitress was super polite and brought out a side if the sauce that was supposed to go on it. Thus place had a great vibe and great customer service. I'll definitely be going back!

I have been here many times over the years and normally it's delicious but last night they must've an off day. It happens. My Brussels sprouts were on the burned side and the fries were stale. My curry noodles was good though. I would recommend this regardless. They have a great pretzel and a cauliflower dish.

Had dinner there on approx. 20 Nov and we were pleasantly surprised. We never guess that a "Tap House" would have such delicious cuisine along with the fine selection of beers. LTH truly lives up to its reputation as one of North County's top eateries. My girlfriend and I had the pleasure of dining here in late August, and our experience was nothing short of wonderful. We decided to visit early on a Thursday, allowing us to enjoy the Oceanside Sunset market and a picturesque walk down the pier at sunset afterward. The menu at LTH is a culinary adventure, with each dish offering a unique twist on comfort food. The Kung Pow Cauliflower was a delightful medley of flavors, with the Sweet Soy, Honey Hot, and Green Sriracha creating a tantalizing dance on the palate. The Tuna Crudo Ceviche was fresh and vibrant, with the Serrano Aioli and Chipotle Crema adding a delightful kick. The Pecan-Crusted Scottish Salmon was another standout, perfectly cooked and complemented by the Sweet Potato Smash and Bing Cherry Glaze. We came back for second time yesterday and it was better than the 1st. We haven’t got past the apps yet but have tried almost all of them and everyone is fantastic. Great beer selection also….Can’t wait to go back.

20 of us came between our soccer games at SoCal Soccer Complex and it was awesome. We were seated quickly, the quality of the food and presentation was amazing, and the location is ideal blocks away from the beach. Highly recommend the venue with plenty of seating open to the outdoor and dog friendly.

Fun atmosphere to chill and order drinks or a full meal. The calamari was excellent. A must order if only for the shishito peppers.

Loved it! Great summer night to sit outside. Got the short rib French dip. Great flavor and that horseradish sauce, wish there was more on it. Atmosphere was clean and fun. Service was great, our server was busy, but she kept on top of things. Everyone at our table loved everything they got. All in all a great place to get something to eat.

Al fresco dining. We had chef’s hummus, smoked Gouda and jalapeño Mac/cheese, and Korean Beef Short Rib grilled cheese. Excellent!

Food was very good with an unique twist. Great place to hang out with friends.

The food scene in Oceanside continues to impress and no place personifies this trend better than LTH. Wonderful chef prepared appraisers and entries. Excellent bar that is also a great place for the entire family.

This is a definite "must do" in Oceanside... they're doing some amazing food, have a great tap list, cool vibes, and great service... all at reasonable prices! The deviled eggs paired nicely with a local grapefruit IPA and the hot link sandwich was the best I've ever had

Came with a friend and had a lovely dinner, the drinks and food were delicious! I especially loved the hummus plate, they add a bunch of items on the side like chickpeas and artichokes that are super good!

I really enjoyed the food and drinks here. Quality, fresh and generous serving sizes. The absolute best calamari I have ever eaten. The hummus plate was amazing with tons of veggies and garlic.

Excellent outdoor patio, really tasty food, generous selection of beer and cocktails. Really fun vibe and appropriately attentive servers. ☺️ The mac n cheese was outstanding as were the fries, and hummus plate. Definitely on the list of great places that I’ll be returning to! 👍🏻
