When we finally came in to look at options, he showed them to us before sharing the specs. This made the experience genuinely about finding the right diamond and less about the color, clarity, and all the other things no one else notices. We went to other jewelers, but none of the experiences compared. When we went to visit we were immediately welcomed and greeted by Mr. Ryan Krasner("The guy who made all the magic happen"). We told him that we were there because I wanted to get an idea of what my lady would like for an engagement ring. So he showed her a few selections of settings and she found one that she really liked and ironically it was a perfect fit. She told him that she really liked it but would like to have it personalized and of course he already had envisioned what she wanted. After that he sat down with us to go over Diamond selections and my.... my... my... I was highly impressed with the knowledge that he had. If you even think that you know a little something about jewelry, Mr. Krasner will blow your mind! if you don't believe me just go and see him and he will validate and prove all that was previously stated. I will say that Mr. Krasner definitely knows his stuff but he is also very honest which is extremely hard to find when it comes to shopping for jewelry. About a year later I went ahead and made my purchase and I was skeptical about having it shipped across country however Mr. Kranser partnered with Mrs. Yolanda was able to put my mind at ease. They made this a smooth process and the moment I received the ring my jaws dropped from being astonished and amazed by the quality of the ring. It was so nice there were a couple times I came close to burning a hole in my pocket by just going to propose but I was able to wait lol. When the day came my fiance was extremely happy about the ring. Twenty-five years ago Harold Stevens jewelers helped me choose a magnificant diamond ring. I recently returned and had two rings appraised as well as purchasing the most fabulous diamond studs. We looked at a few different jewelers before settling on Harold Stevens, and the quality of jewelry pieces found here is noticeably better. I also love that it is a local San Diego shop, and not a chain or something you find on Instagram. They have a range of classic to trendy pieces - all of which are stunning. They also have a lot more options in store, if you’re browsing online. We will be coming back here for all our fine jewelry purchases in the future.

My [now] fiancé and I really enjoyed the experience working with Harold Stevens (we worked with Yolanda), and ended up with the perfect ring! We went in just hoping to look at what they had in store, and instead got a very personal experience. After exploring a few different styles our first visit, Yoli brought in a small collection of rings from different jewelry designers, and helped us design something unique and fitting AND within our budget. The ring is incredible, my fiancé can't stop staring at it, and she's overwhelmed by the compliments. It's almost a shame we only get to do this once.

I'm probably a little biased as Harold Krasner picked out the diamond with my best man for my wedding who was also a jeweler and counted on Harold to pick the best stones...that was 40 years ago, and nothing has changed...crazy guy still recognizes the stone! We have had multiple pieces of jewelry remade into custom pieces with Harold's artisans that build such items....and then there are just those gorgeous pieces he finds and my wife loves....I'm known among my wife's friends as doing good jewelry....not too fondly by their husbands that remind me how much I cost them....you will be very glad you did business with these people.

I had the privilege of working with Yoli at Harold Stevens and I have to tell you it was awesome! The backstory to the design of my ring is that my husband passed away and the thought of not wearing my wedding ring at some point in the future was just heartbreaking. So I came up with the idea to take the diamond from my engagement ring and surround it with the birthstones of my husband and I and our daughters to transition it to a Family Ring. I wear it on my right index finger and no matter what my future holds I will never stop wearing this precious and beautifully made ring. I couldn't have done it without Harold Stevens and the care and compassion of Yoli. I will always use them for any future jewelry purchases. And one thing I want to highlight is that I'm not a rich person. I'm a middle class woman and I never felt out of place or that my business wasn't welcomed.
