We did brunch with the fam! This diner was great. They even provided complimentary corn bread. The coffee was also perfect - they were quick to refill our. Up (that’s always important). Food was delicious and service was quick and efficient. The staff were also patient and friendly. We had many breakfast dishes like the slama jama, Nutella crepes, steak and eggs skillet , breakfast sampler, and the Latin breakfast. All were super yummy and well seasoned. Will be back again!

A quality diner that does not disappoint. I've never left the beacon without that feeling of having had a quality meal. Although there are plenty of options here in the diner capital of the world, the Beacon still stands out and has become one of my favorites.

The waiter was nice but the food was not. We also ordered rolls for the onset of a brunch and it never came. We got the orders before the bread. Two of us ordered pancakes and they tasted stale as if they were frozen and then reheated. They were clearly not fresh and they were burnt. The eggs had a very eggy smell. Gross. Couldn’t eat it. We ordered fries and they were super greasy. Perhaps it was a busy morning but it does not excuse that got brunt pancakes. The hash brown was cold and seemed a bit undercooked. Didn’t eat it. I tried to eat what I ordered and could only eat it so long as the whipped cream and strawberry was there. I got so disgusted and felt like throwing up that I had to get up and use the rest room. I ordered gingerale and it was just about flat. This was a first time here and most likely a last. There was a booster under our table and the table was dirty as it still had the payment left by the prior customer. And I had to use a nap king to clean it. Still we stayed. On the up they are respectful and nice. So two stars for the staff. That’s about it though.

No matter what time if the day we go to this establishment we have not been disappointed. The staff is super friendly and the food is always amazing. Would recommend to everyone to give it a try.

This diner has always been a gem for our area. Their recent renovation made the place modern, but yet with that cozy feel that good diners have. The food is always exceptional and all the waiters and workers are tremendously respectful. We always order pancakes 🥞 for bfast because they are the best !

We came here for breakfast on Saturday morning around 8 o'clock, which is a good time since it's not crowded. I had the apple pie pancakes, which was one of the specials, and my wife had blue berry pancakes. Mine came with three pancakes topped with apples, compote and whipped cream. The blueberry pancakes had the berries mixed in and not just merely put on top. The coffee and service was very good.

We had an amazing experience eating breakfast. They had one of the best gluten-free pancakes French toast and tiramisu gluten free toast. The staff were very friendly and were able to customize our orders based on our dietary needs. I wish we could take this diner with us back home.

Wow. Just a massive disappointment this morning at what’s usually a pretty reliable diner. We sat in a quiet booth with maybe three others in the entire place. We placed our order and waited. Others came in, ordered, yelled into or played videos on their phones, and got their meals and left while we continued to wait until she finally showed up with our food - a cold egg white Greek omelette with cold potatoes, and an order of avocado toast that she spilled salad dressing all over. Elapsed time: 45 minutes. When we paid, the on-duty manager said “I’m sorry” - and charged us full price anyway. You broke it for us today, guys. Bad food, bad service and with noisy customers yelling and cursing into their speakerphones as the morning dragged on, bad atmosphere. (People, please. Using a speakerphone when you’re in a restaurant is just plain rude and annoying. Take care of calls in your car before you come in. Restaurant managers: please discourage this behavior.)

Great atmosphere for a diner, we went there for a Saturday brunch and we were seated right away. Despite being busy, the service was reasonable but it could be faster. The savory options were generally nice, we had Maryland crab Benedict (a bit too salty for my taste) and all the way breakfast with turkey sides. I wish they had salmon sides as well but they don't. Coffee is better than similar diners but not particularly good. We had tiramisu style French toast, which was an interesting take on French toast but a bit too sweet for my taste. The bathroom was disappointingly dirty for a restaurant/diner that otherwise looked great. Overall, 3.7 stars rounded up to 4 stars.

This place is an absolute treasure. I’ve eaten there and today I tried delivery for first time on grub hub. Was fast and the same part I love about the diner was delivered. Great portions, wonderful classic food made with love. Today I tried the tuna melt for the first time and oh my goodness it was perfect. The delivery folks and waiters are always kind and professional and on point. Keep up the good work, this is a classic reliable local diner, and will have a delicious option for every person in your party.

Very crowded and loud during weekends! Food is served very slow too. Tables are set so close to each other so it makes it is extremely loud .Not recommended for weekends. It is much better during weekend though. You should limit number of people you are serving during weekends as it hurts the overall experience and atmosphere.

I had the mos amazing pumpkin pie: smooth and so tasty! Like in the good old days. For lunch/brunch I had white eggs omellete with grilled chicken, tomatoes and spinach with mash potatoes too, of course. It was just heavenly... Elegant place, with a friendly atmosphere that put you at ease.

I have been coming to this diner for more than a year ago with my family. What I love most about this diner is that it is family friendly and the staff is very hands on which creates a very welcoming feel that a diner should always have. The food here is tasteful and there is a wide range of different options for everyone. Lots of thanks to the staff for their welcoming smiles, tentative service and delicious food!!!

Had a wonderful breakfast/lunch here today with a large party of 14. Half of my crew ate breakfast while the other half had lunch. Everyone was delighted by their meal and most of them took food home for later. The food was delicious! Everything from the coleslaw to the teriyaki chicken was exquisite. Fast and friendly service. Amazing owners that are there to please. I highly recommend this diner. It was awesome!

Second time here and once again, I enjoyed all dishes! Steak salad with Gorgonzola was delicious as well as the Philly cheesesteak fried roles.

Standard American diner food, eggs cooked exactly how I wanted them, excellent service, clean, smart decor highly recommended!
