BJ’s is amazing, especially if you buy in bulk but their groceries aren’t the only things you can get for crazy bargain deals. Last winter we needed to save money on heating costs so we bought this very pretty space heater for a fraction of the price that you would find it for new online or in other stores. It works great and has a little remote so you don’t have to get up. They shift around their seasonal items like this so at the end of every season we like to look at what’s on sale and see if we can capitalize on any bargains. We go regularly for water and paper products because we were tired of having to spend so much money weekly / monthly on the same things so we figured stocking in advance was the way to go. We also like to browse their end of season clothes because occasionally you can find great deals (like $3 per pair of pants) on some fun casual items and more.

I would give you a 5 Star rating but you really need to help those poor ladies in the deli department. You have one lady for filling party platters for customers and then you have a lady that’s fulfilling online orders for customers plus the orders of people waiting in line with their numbers ticket. I know it’s hard to find people to work but I really believe that management should be back there helping them. Because I see people come and try to pick up their order that they had ordered online and it’s not even ready so management please go help those amazing ladies they are doing a bust behind the deli department and you’re running them ragged and I hope you do care about them.

The store selection is ok half decent but it’s better at Costco. Save your time. Beware of the worker at self checkout. I don’t know her name, but she is the old overweight white lady. She has fried grey light brown hair and wears glasses has a big gut too. When I asked her to help me scan my multiple waters and drinks, because I couldn’t at self check out, considering there was no scanner gun to use she had only scanned two of my waters when I asked her to scan everything. She claimed that she didn’t have a scanner gun and had to do it manually therefore, she did not want to pick up the waters or put in the waters manually through her phone because that would’ve required her to do work and would be an inconvenience for her to type in the item number, as opposed to scanning it through the tool. She basically wanted us to deal with it. This type of customer service is unacceptable. She was unwilling to do her job because she was too lazy. Older people should not be working if they are going to come into work with an attitude and incompetency.

Horrible experience with my curbside pick up order. I arrive and half of what I ordered online was missing. When the rude guy that was delivering my order outside came, I immediately notice that a lot of things were missing, and we are not talking about 2 or 3 items, im saying 12-14 items missing. Mind you, he has the paper on his hand and I’m explaining to him that there are stuff missing, the only thing he has to say is that he is only delivering and didn’t even put the stuff in the trunk the proper way. Everything was mostly thrown and put in in a rush. The purpose of curbside orders are to save us time. I had to waste time going inside and talking to management, I tried talking to a few workers before talking to a manager, but these people wont even make eye contact with you so you don’t bother them. After all a manager was a little helpful but stil, I wasted more than 30 mins inside trying to get help and the rest of the stuff. Anyways I came home and a bag of bagels and table salt we’re still missing. So I wasted time and lost money. Don’t think I’ll be doing this again in this location.

The assistant Manger Myra was not helpful and or accommodating at the paramus location. She made my shopping experience uneventful. I came in for one thing. Super excited when they had it. I was told by multiple locations that I was able to use a coupon up to 5 times. I had 2 and plus an e coupon. I wanted to purchase 10 items in total. She refused to accommodate and I had to leave the frozen foods behind. She walked away from me and couldn't be bothered.

The ladies at the deli need to get it together , 5 meat slicers and only 2 people working. I stood there for 26mins waiting for an order and when I asked about it one lady gave me an attitude. Some customer service training is highly recommended for that group.
