Fantastic Eggplant Parmesan Sandwich. Friendly old school atmosphere. Great sandwiches like an Italian Sub and Chicken Cutlet Parmesan. You can order ahead and pickup inside. I think there is parking in the rear but street parking tough. Lots of specialty Italian items for sale. The bread for the heroes taste like they are brick oven made. Just the right crunch for a hot eggplant parmesan hero. The bread stayed together. The eggplant was unbelievable. Homemade on Tuesday and Fridays. Have to give it a try.

THE PLACE to go to get a hero. Homemade mozzarella cheese, fresh bread, fresh sliced cold cuts, and a great portion for the price. The service is great, too, quick service, and they are very nice and have a great sense of humor! Can't go wrong when you go to Cosmo's.

As if this place needs another five star review! Totally authentic Italian deli, fresh homemade mozzarella cheese made everyday, fresh chicken parm and eggplant parm, and don't forget the homemade - amazing! Cash only so don't forget to bring your green. We had the number 2 sandwich which was prosciutto and mozzarella and sun-dried tomatoes with vinegar. But you can add other bells and whistles if you want. They will also make custom sandwiches by the way. Seems like there is always a line but they somehow move it pretty quickly so definitely worth the wait.

One of the best places to eat in North Jersey. Many of their items are homemade 😋 smells like meatballs when you go in.. just like grammas kitchen. The Nona there won cooking contest on Rachel Rays food channel 👍🏼👍🏼

Wow just wow! We ordered the #1 It was an Italian sub it was so delicious reminded me of my childhood growing up when the food here was still authentic, fresh and delicious. The chicken monz was very good too. The mozzarella is fantastic. Very fresh. I Loved this place

Idk why I’m writing this. We should gate keep this place, it’s too good to let the secret out. Yes, I drove 45 minutes to get this sandwich, and yes I do this often. I get the 1 but pick a number off the board and you won’t be sorry. I think this guy is more italian than the Mario Brothers. They make the Mozzarella in the back!! The prices are stuck in the early 2000s a hero is only $9 and they got all these little Italian treats around the place. I mean this place does it right and they never burned it down for the insurance money so you know it’s a place even the Italians like 😏 I give this place 5 stars because 6 or more isn’t available! Bring cash and an empty stomach!

The 🥪 here are the best you'll ever have. I ordered the #1 and it did not disappoint living up to the massive hype. The bread is perfect, not too hard like some other places, and not too soft. The ingredients are top notch from the lettuce, peppers and of course to the main attraction the meats and cheese!

Unbelievably good. I read the reviews and didn’t know if it would live up to its reputation but wow, fantastic chicken cutlet and bread. And everyone seemed friendly and conversational. Definitely going again!! ASAP

When I come back to Jersey always get an Italian Sub asap. Went to Cosmo's for the first time today and did not disappoint! Number 1 Italian with no peppers was delicious and satisfied my sub fix. Definitely coming back to try more sandwiches. Ciao

My brother loves this place, so I definitely wanted to try it out. I got the eggplant parm and it was delicious the hype is real. Only knock was that the sandwich wasn’t that warm and the bread had a slight little pull. Definitely going back to try other sandwiches. Service was amazing as well!

Just pick any Italian hero off the menu andvyou will understand why I give Cosmos 5 stars. Hot hero deserves the same rating. Cosmos gets it right every time. I've been a customer for over 15 years.

The best sandwiches around. Period. I moved out of state and have been searching for something comparable down here. One is respectable, most fall short. After 9 years, we finally made our way back to Cosmo's. Just as perfect as I remembered. After a minute, Cos remembered me and we had a nice chat. Old friends meeting again. Genuine. Our party of 4 ordered a #1 for my bride. Of course, a #2 for me. Pud got the #4, and his wife a #6. And 2 potato salads. We walked our treasures down the street to Hackensack Brewing, ordered some pints and were in flavor heaven. A perfect Saturday lunch date.

This is my boyfriend favorite place for a delicious sandwich. We stopped in and I got the number 1, and he got the number 7. My sandwich was absolutely yummy and filling. They are a cash only business. Keep that in mind. The only thing I didn't enjoy was my bread. I felt it was a little stale. But I will lost definitely be a returning customer.

Old School family business...very authentic. The best Italian subs anywhere around...hands down. This place can't be beat.

It’s very good when they have the bread that they make in the house not the store bought… I understand why they needed to because it’s so good it sells out ! But it’s becoming a hit or a miss for me as I don’t know what bread I’m getting. From observation, if cosmos has to go to the back to get the bread and not from the shelf, I know I’m getting the store bought one.
