Amazingly good place for a stroll in the evening and as a picnic spot. We came across it by chance as we were taking our dog for a walk. The place was empty which made it even more pleasant. The St. Austell river gushing through the garden ending in the falls is amazing. The rhodendrons and camellias in full bloom add to the charm. A hidden gem

A beautiful spot with a waterfall that's home to a 15thC Holy Well and the Druids Chair. The water that flows here is slightly milky white presumably coloured by the china clay deposits further up stream. During the Middle Ages this was claimed to be one of the most important religious sites in the whole of Cornwall. Very atmospheric!

Small place with only a few parking spaces. But worth a quick wander if you happen to be passing. Amazing rhodedendron trees. The water colour is white, it's enchanting!

Just a lovely little peaceful place. I enjoyed just listening to the little waterfall and enjoying the cool shaded countryside.

Nice little walk. Picnic benches, small carpark. Stunning river with a water fall. Bit of history, which can be read on the notice board.

Great place to visit and lovely gardens . Waterfall and river were amazing, Just perfect to sit and relax , Not the biggest of places but one of the more wonderful. Parking is limited so probably best parking in one of the the nearest carparks and walking (13 mins) . Definitely a place I'll be visiting quite often πŸ‘

Beautiful little spot which has recently been updated to have a new gravel path, extra tables and bug houses for wildlife to thrive. There is also a tire swing by the river if you dare, or you can take the lovely, sturdy bridge across! There is a few parking spots, but if you can't find one, you can easily park in town and walk over. Very beautiful, fresh and romantic.

Absolutely stunning. Live in St Austell and love coming to the peace and quiet here. Had a friend visit and brought her here. She got chatting to one of the volunteers doing the gardens and he told her quite a bit about it all. Hats off to everyone concerned you are doing a fantastic job

Menacuddle Well is a beautiful Victorian garden in the centre of St Austell, which was gifted to the community in memory of an only son, lost in WW1

Really pretty location, and nice for quick stop off. Spent around 10 minutes taking some photos and wandering after a visit to the Eden Project. Could have spent longer with a picnic! Worth a drop in if you're in the area
