A great place to visit for a walk. Lots of grass and palm trees give it a tropical feel. We tried fishing on one of the jettys but only got a few small ones.

A nice walk along the river and across the foot bridge to the other side where you can find an old tram stop. Perfect for pictures.

The fascine is a real tribute to Carnarvon. A really impressive waterfront to the town

Amazing fascine. Had heard mixed reviews about Carnarvon but it is a stunning little town and the fascine is awesome, great coffee from the many coffee shops down the main street. If we are ever back here we will definitely come back to Carnarvon.

Beautifully manicured lawns with great walkways along the Fascine. You can walk your dog on leash and has water fountains for dogs and us. There are several memorials and history notes around the area as well. Beautiful place to check out.

Great spot for a picnic on the grass or at the shaded tables. On the edge of the inlet with warm balmy winds. Great spot for a break in the drive north.

Carnarvon have done a great job of the fascine but the behaviour of some of the local children leaves a lot to be desired.

Lovely foreshore where you can sit and relax and admire the lovely views. It wasn’t so busy when we were here and you could have a lovely picnic here also. It’s an easy stroll near the water, suited for all as it’s easy and you can go as far as you like. “Jonique Life” Follow our journey around Australia on Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok and YouTube as we highlight wonderful experiences and magical places you can add to your ever growing bucket list.

The 2 times we were there for a lunch break from driving we were blown almost off our feet the wind was so strong. There is a space museum I have heard is fantastic. Next time we hope to do that on the way to coral bay.

As a place to visit for a jog, or to take the kids, it's really pretty. The council does a great job at maintaining the area, it's clean and feels safe and really good for some fresh air
