We were fortunate to be in Carnarvon just before the Eclipse in April. The town was buzzing. The Saturday morning market outside the Tourist information centre was worth a visit. A reasonable variety of handcrafts, food and local items was great. We bought pies, homemade slices, coffee beans. Go early food sells out quickly.

One of the best markets I have been to outside of Perth. Amazing home crafted goods. Spent a small fortune everything was so good. Highly recommend the pickles and chutneys.

It was a hive of activity today. 🐝🐝🐝 So great to see Stallholders' friendliness in welcoming visiting newcomers, travellers & locals alike whilst plying their wares. There were many really 'good buys' on offer with most people promoting responsible, realistic pricing. Well done to them!! 👌 ~ just the few though, who perhaps should look around at the Market stalls, compare theirs and re-evaluate.

Interesting little market. Picked up some fresh produce and good value honey. Had the worst long black ever though. Paid $4 for something that was like weak instant coffee.

More like a craft market. Only three growers there. Butchers pies were $8, sounded fantastic, but we're very soggy and underwhelming.

👍 A great place to visit for a walk. Lots of grass and palm trees give it a tropical feel. We tried fishing on one of the jettys but only got a few small ones.

👍👍 After a small hiccup yesterday, Justin took us for a wonderful scenic flight around Carnarvon, including the fruit vegetable growing precinct, around town, over the coast and along the mangroves where we saw dugong, and sting rays. A terrific experience from a friendly and knowledgeable pilot. Hi...
