Loved our stay here, went from 3 nights to 6. Ablution blocks clean with no shortage of hot water and great pressure in the showers. Laundry block was clean with 5 washing machines and plenty of clothesline space. Enjoyed watching the chickens scratching around and bought some eggs they tasted so good. Staff friendly and helpful. Recommend this park will definitely be back

Great cabin with ensuite that was very clean and organised. Extremely friendly and hospitable hosts, they went above and beyond. Provided plenty of suggestions for local experiences that did not disappoint. Highly recommend staying here

Couldn't recommend this wonderful place higher. As we have been travelling around Australia staying in many caravan parks this would be one of the best. Large grass sites .. plenty of room .. newly renovated amenities. Great camp kitchen .. as I wash the dishes .. great way to meet other campers. Very helpful staff Will be staying again when we return Keep up the great work Ian and Ellen The Wandering Westons

Great stopover at this family business Plantation Caravan Park in Carnarvon. The owner Ketut was absolutely brilliant from the moment I enquired for availability right down to presenting me with some fruits & veges from the family plantation as I departed. I called at 5pm to say I was going to be a few hours later than expected and she made sure my room key was sorted without any fuss. The room I stayed in was spotlessly clean and cosy. The entire facility was amazingly clean, quiet and comfortable. Glad I had enough time for a coffee and chat with Ketut on the deck before I had to move on. She is clearly a smart, compassionate business owner and family matriarch. Happy Mother's Day Ketut - you deserve to be spoiled and I hope you can stop work long enough to enjoy the day. Will definitely stay with you another time.

10/10 beautiful spot, just off the highway. Family run business, Ketut was so friendly and hospitable. We broke down after 5pm and Ketut reopened the office for us to check in for the night. Amazing spot amongst the trees. Large sites with level cement and grass all around Super clean amenities Camp kitchen & pool Will definitely come back to stay again if we pass through canarvon. Thanks again Ketut

Tried to book on-line however payment errored out with a notification that the payment was not transacted. Subsequently discovered having booked elsewhere that payment had been taken regardless. Big Four have so far refused to refund in spite of this being their system error. I would recommend avoiding paying online unless you have a strong wifi signal and a reasonable timeframe (several days) before staying. I will refresh this review if Big Four’s head office reverses this local decision

Basic and clean. Good hot water and fast internet. Has laundry and a camp kitchen. Conveniently the first park off the highway (good for stopover) and next to the Ampol Petrol Foodary. It's a short 5min drive to IGA. But there's a reason why the park is called "Plantation Park" - The highlight was the owners own a farm right next to the caravan park, just a walk from the absolution block. Bought fresh Avocados, icy mango lollies ($2.50 ea) and even had a mini tour of their orchard lined with different fruits. My first time seeing a Reed Avocado tree!

Good enough for an overnighter. Just make sure they DO NOT give you a site with slabs, if your car is 2WD, or low. Slabs are too high, when I unhitched I had all sorts of problems getting ball and hitch back together again. Great spot directly behind 24 hour service station. Good access to road to Geraldton. $47 p/n

Good for what it is. We used it for an overnight stop, not much there but everything we needed. Cool little outdoor camp kitchen with a TV.

If staying in Carnarvon, highly recommend staying here. It's amongst plantations and lovely and quiet. Pets allowed also. A little bit out of the main town but better because of this.

We had a powered site for the night & we're very happy. Park was clean & tidy, sies level & it was quiet even though it was on the main highway. We would stay there again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay of 3 nights. Tidy, grassed sites - or with slab if you prefer- lots of trees and surrounded by plantation. Very peaceful. Facilities spotless and well maintained. New basins, mirrors etc. Camp kitchen well equipped. Staff delightful.

Couple issues with the park unfortunately It is over priced and over sells its playground which is very minimal and also unsafe as an old trailer is stored next to it and barbed wire fence runs down one side of it. Secondly, asked for late checkout (the park only had another 4-6 caravans staying as out of peak season) and when we returned our power had been rudely turned off at the switchbox. We are even BIG4 members and late checkout is meant to be a perk... apparently not here. If have kids - would go to another park near by where they have bigger playground and jumping pillow and for a bit cheaper.

We stayed for one night on a powered site. It seemed like the toilets and showers haven’t been cleaned for ages and that nobody takes care of the campground during the low season, which is annoying because we still had to pay the full price. So the value for price of 47$ is not good. In the morning we recognized that our battery wasn’t fully charged which is unlikely. So we called the caretaker to ask if the power is running regularly. He was very rude. He basically said it’s our fault, thar our battery was too old and that some other campers had the same issue but he thinks that’s not the problem of the campground. After that he told us to leave immediately.

Would highly recommend this caravan park! Stayed here for 5 weeks in our campervan during work on a farm nearby. The park is quiet and clean and has everything you need. Showers are fantastic and camp kitchen is good and clean as well. Big plus: the wifi is really good!! Could download Netflix and apps and stream YouTube without any problems. The owners of the campground are really nice and always there for you when you need anything. And I'm gonna give the same tip as the previous review: try the frozen mango. It's delicious!!!

Great place. Lovely lady checked us in. The birds are really loud though so just a heads up. Kitchen has a fridge/freezer and their is plenty of wash rooms. Wish the pool had a shade cloth. Would recommend the place.

Great little spot. We had a cabin up the back which felt very private like we had our own little orchard. We stayed longer than we initially thought and when it was time to go I really wasn’t ready to leave. We’ve stayed in many parks but this felt just like you were being welcomed into someone’s home - not the words spoken but the feel of the place. It’s not your typical Big 4 but that didn’t matter - looks fade but the feeling of a place is what counts. The owners were always about cleaning and caretaking and were super friendly. Close to town. Beautiful big shady trees. We hope that pool is fixed :) We would thoroughly recommend this great little park as it just has something different. Mary and Sheree

We stayed here for just 1 night in a cabin. It was relatively well equipped and clean. The campsite looks very run down and neglected, the sites looked extremely tight. Wouldn't stay again, it was just a quick stop for us.

A welcome port in a storm! Had a very pleasant unexpected 1 night stay here when our car broke down on a family trip. Tidy, clean, and relaxed grounds, with wonderful friendly, personalised and helpful service both during and after our stay to help us practically with our situation. Happily recommend.

Car unfortunately had to be towed back to Carnarvon on a Sunday at 3pm!!, while on the side of the road i rang in to Big4 Plantation and they were so friendly and assisted in a swift booking for the night for my family of 4 with 1 on the way! Service was perfect and everything ran smoothly, key was where it was said to be, and room was clean! Next morning the lovely lady i believe Ketut may have the name wrong came past and asked how we were and provided needed information on services/couriers available in Carnarvon that could assist in my mechanical needs. Very friendly, accommodating and a pleasure to deal with, will definitely stay again hopefully in better circumstances! AAA+++

The management was great to deal with, the facilities were clean and the showers - excellent. I rocked up not booked in, it was not a problem to find a spot for me, a newbie camper driver & at the time I advised I had doubts about my ability in reverse. lol It was a pleasure to stay there, even for just 2 nights. I'll gladly stay again as it's out of town & away from the noise. Their wi-fi even worked!

Pretty disappointed. We were passing through Carnarvon and needed a caravan site for 1 night. We called and were told they have something and then when we said only one night stay, they told us we could only get a spot for 2 night minimum. There was nothing else available in town. So much for paying for membership.
