Very basic rooms but the restaurant and food make up for that. Room was clean towels thick and pretty big. When you come say hi to the fabulous Tracey. We had a great stay on our AAT Kings #wildawaits

The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was also in a very decent shape but the common grill at the pool was in very bad shape like it never been cleaned for a year or two. We stayed for one night only.

Rooms are very dated but clean, shower pressure is non existent, and the restaurant has been closed both nights. Continental breakfast is ok but service is dreadful wass told like a school child at 8:59am no one can have any more food and with in 2 minutes all guest told to finish eating as they are shut at 9am and everyone had to leave promptly. I would only recommend the location and being able to park by your door.

Checked in here for one night as the Google reviews stated it was one of the better hotels/motels in the area. The stay didn’t start if we’ll - went to have a shower to discover the towels were soiled with waste, used shower products were left on the shower floor, used toilet paper found behind the toilet, dust and insects filled the bathroom and expired products in the mini bar. Did they even clean the room prior to new people checking in. Utterly disgusting.

Would have been 2 stars if not for the dining experience. Rooms tired, outdated, in need of decorating and require a deep clean.

This is by far, the worst place I’ve ever stay at. Bed was clean and okay to sleep in. But, TV did not work. And the bathrooms OH MY GOD! It was disgusting … painted over the mould and door posts eaten away with termites.

So me & my 1yr old daughter were told we can’t eat breakfast in the dining area because she didn’t have any shoes on, bloody ridiculous why does she need shoes on just to sit at a table & eat!!

After a day of travel it was an absolute delight to experience the Pineapple Curry..........a sublime delight....the flavour sensation, the freshness and depth of flavour was to die for.......

All very old and tired. Would be acceptable at half the price. (I think I paid 'eclipse' prices). Room was spacious and clean, but bathroom and pool are in need of some attention.

1st time for us in a movie-like motel. A very nice place with included breakfast, room was larger than expected and everything clean. Good!

We were booked here for 2 nights but only stayed 1 due to the overall condition. Place is in need of renovation, bathrooms mouldy, curtain backing falling apart. I have mild allergies when I walked into the room the first thing I did was open the windows without realizing moving the curtains contributed to the smell and dust from the curtain backing falling off and becoming airborne. The floors, bedding etc were all clean but there was a lack of maintenance in bathrooms, curtains. If you have allergies or respiratory issues be cautious. The hotel may call this an “Older style hotel” well it’s definitely old and in my opinion neglected. Staff showed me another room after I complained, it had just been painted and would have been fine if the bathroom had been renovated and the curtains changed. Check the pictures out unfortunately I couldn’t post videos. When I complained to our agent luckily they stepped in to fund an extra night at our next destination. I asked to speak to the hotel manager who wasnt around when we handed our keys over, I left my number but they have never reached out.

The restaurant was good. I ordered seafood soup and some of the ingredients were not fresh. The portion on fish was smaller than expected. I guess this is what’s expected on Best Western. Upon entering the room, it smelled musty till the air conditioning started. The windows were so filthy you dared not touch them. Don’t open the curtains!! We are staying somewhere else on the way back to this town.

Ugh! Is all to say about this motel. It really makes your skin crawl. They couldnt even be bothered to clear up the cigarette boxes and booze bottles outside our room. Rooms are so old and not even 3 star. Barely better than a park bench. As for the town, we’ll. Don’t stay here! You can tell by the barred windows, virtually no cars and lack of shops that it’s a downtrodden area.

I hate to be critical but... Bathroom in desperate need of maintenance, peeling paint from internal plumbing leak & constantly dripping shower that drove me nuts. One male waiter was in real need of training in basic courtesy & customer service.

Nice clean rooms, very well priced. The Sails restaurant was excellent, beautiful fine dining at an affordable price. Best in Canarvon.

I stayed here for work and was really pleased with the place! The staff were delightful and the room was very clean and comfortable… The food at the restaurant was great and the overall experience here was really pleasant! When I come back for work I’ll choose this place again

We stayed here for just one night and it's a good accomodation for me and my parents. However, it was not really clean especially the walls being so dusty. The exhaust fan inside the bathroom is also full of dust that my mum kept sneezing. Overall, despite the establishment being old, the room should still be cleaned.

Rooms are 20 years out of date. Felt like Fred Flintstone was going to knock on my door. The bed felt like a slab of rock to.

👍 My colleague and I had the pleasure of stumbling upon the Carnarvon Hotel during our time on the road, and we were pleasantly surprised by what we found. The pub was packed with caravans and backpackers, making for a lively atmosphere. Despite the crowd, the service was quick and friendly, and the...
