Going to a POLISH restaurant in Portugal might not be your first option when looking for a place to eat, but believe me. You must go here. You will not be disappointed! The restaurant is a fine dining restaurant for such a great deal. The prices are really good for the quality you receive (at least in comparison to where I come from in Southern California). Staff is extremely friendly and very welcoming! The vibe inside is very nice and calming too (and AC!). Definitely will come back here if I can :)

Very nice service, lovely atmosphere and just divine food. From incredible starters to amazing main dish, everything was just great. Very nice sangria and good price. This is one place with Portugiese food that you need to visit. Highly recommended. 👌

Some friends and I sat outside during a quiet weekday for lunch. The service was great and the food tasted delicious. Best restaurant I've been to in Faro so far. Would highly recommend.

As we were spending 3 days in Faro, we wanted to try a local recommended restaurant. Afecto was stated several times by locals. And it was such a pleasure. Staff is very welcoming, we did not wait too long. Food was delicious: I had the crab croquettes to start, then the angus and chimichurri (perfect) and I finished with the orange cake. Definitely worth the price.

I had the best solo dining experience at Afecto. The staff gave a wonderful service. They looked after me, attending my every need, whilst making me feel welcomed with kind conversation. The food was absolutely incredible, locally sourced and truly delicious, complements to the chef. I would definitely recommend Afecto for a relaxing, high quality evening. I had a wonderful lunch at Afeco, it's an amazing place. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. You can fill premium quality ingredients and love what they are adding to each dish. Highly recommend it, definitely will visit this restaurant again. Thank you Afecto

Make no mistake this is a high quality restaurant masquerading as a reasonably priced one. The food is divine , obviously freshly caught and it’s cooked and delivered in a haute-cuisine style. All of the food triangle points are covered, taste, smell and sight and the service is genuinely top class - friendly without being over the top. The wine list is excellent and driven by Portuguese wines. We sat outside and had an excellent experience, dining as the sun set and people walked by in the street. I would highly recommend this place and should definitely be on your list to try if you are visiting Faro.

Food was nice, but no music and the servers came very slowly. They were nice tho. Portions were ok. You can try it once.

We had the loveliest evening! Came to the restaurant with no expectations and damn, it turned out to be a good experience. All the dishes from starters to the dessert were absolutely delicious and top quality. Actually, we ended up ordering an extra main because it was just so nice. Good selection of natural wines. The service throughout the evening was amazing, the staff was cheerful and had a lot of knowledge about the menu. Beautiful modern decor. Highly recommended. This place is a gem.

I've found it by accident while getting lost in narrow streets of Faro, brought my friend there in the evening and almost left when I found out they don't serve chicken 😆 I'm so glad I didn't. I was kinda hesitant to try something entirely new, but I went with black rice and squid. And it was just incredible. Flavorful and amazing. It felt like a high-class experience, with the desserts looking like a Michelin-star pieces of art. Plus wide choice of Portugese wines and Polish vodka 😁

Located in the heart of the vivid part of Faro, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. The atmosphere was enjoyable due to the cosy terrace. The staff was super friendly. We had several dishes and all of them were delicious. The dessert was the best I ever had. Just go there!

The most incredible Tuna and chorizo I have tasted. A restaurant that prides itself on quality and it shows. A must visit if you're in Faro. The Tuna was so good I became emotional. Fantastic service creating a brilliant relaxed and fun atmosphere. Incredible experience!

After a delicious dinner, we ask for the bill.. we chatted a bit futher and when we walked outside, the waiter came after us.. if we could pay the bill. Embarrassing on our jaws, we walked with him, to pay. Again our apologies to the staff.. but the way the staff handled it.. great. Recomended.. for good food and great service. Triple 5 stars.

Found this lovely restaurant on my first evening after dinner and decided that it will be the choice for my last evening stay. I hade Pica Pau iberico as starter. I was overwhelmed. It tasted amazing. The pineapples and chili pair so well with the fresh coriander and the meat! Best thing I had during my stay in Faro. 5/5 As a main chose filet of the fish of the day with prawn rice, tomatoes and peppers paired with coriander. Additionally I had a tomato salad with red onions. Both dishes were prepared great and also tasted that way. I ordered some lemon for squeezing it over the fish which gave the dish the final touch. 5/5 For dessert I chose torta de laranja, with strawberry ice cream and some mashed pistachios. It was also served with fresh strawberries. The torta was amazing! I did not like the ice cream that much, which also might be personal preference. Nevertheless 5/5 The staff was very kind and friendly. Special wishes after lemons and an extra prepared tomato salad were granted without any hesitation. The prices are adequate for the quality of the food. I paid 55€ for a full menu with additional salad and 0,75 l sparkling water. All in all my best food experience while I was in Faro. Biiiiig recommendation! Thanks staff for the amazing evening.

The filet mignon was one of the best meat dishes I ever had in a restaurant. The sauce and the meat are just perfect. The service are nice young cool guys. If you eat this dish you will be 11/10 happy.

The other reviews say it all really! We went for the menu of the day. €13 per person. We had a lovely soup starter and Polish pork stew dish for main. Really superb. Lovely coffee too at the end.

Amazing experience! Really tasty and innovative cuisine, very friendly and attentive service. Beautiful polish fusion kitchen, would definitely recommend to pay this place a visit.

I’ve had the best desserts in my life. I will come back to Faro only to eat them again. Octopus is to die for. By far one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to.

Outstanding food in a beautiful setting. We were blown away by the cold soup, the truffle piroggi and the pancakes with goat cheese. The cocktails were very good as well. Unfortunately, the dessert was a bit of a let down. We were also a bit disappointed to see that the vegetarian options are quite limited.

Amazing food. Best pierogi I've ever had including ones in Poland. The desserts were amazing and the price was very reasonable. Spoke with the manager who was lovely and very welcoming.
