Beautiful winery near Portimão, definitely worth visiting. Lovely wines, created with a certain elegance which makes degustation exciting. My everyday kick would be the surprising Sauvignon Blanc, that displays a freshness and mineral palate not normally found in Portuguese wines. The production is still young, but some of their wines already display great promises for the future. The staff is very knowledgeable and professional, and the winemaker was available to answer our questions. Worth the visit.

Very nice, personal experience. We met with one of the owners Fatima who explained the wines very nicely and told us about the history & their journey of starting their own estate. Lovely wines!! Great views! The tasting room is fun and you receive a folder during the tasting with loads of information to learn more about how to taste like a pro if needed =)

Small winery with a very nice tour and tastings. Wines and cheese-meat tray were very good and reasonable prices. We also really enjoyed the liquors.

Would definitely recommend this winery to anyone visiting the area! We came for the wine tour and tasting and our tour guide was super kind and knowledgeable. The wine and charcuterie/tapas served were also great! The experience felt intimate and we never felt rushed. 5 stars hands down.

Stopped here for a break and wine tasting. Lovely location, peaceful and quaint, ideal to taste a few wines. You have to pay a fair price and can choose the amount wine to be tested. Each wine is well described which helps making a good choice. If you buy wine, it is not cheap, however, certainly worth it as this is no supermarket wine but an artisan product.

I’m not a wine drinker, so let me say that I can’t review the wines. But we do love winery tours and tastings! Driving to Silves, we stopped for a tasting. The people were very nice. We shared a 6 wine tasting and a small and tasty charcuterie. A little tricky to find and a bit more than we usually spend, but it was a lovely way to spend an hour.

Loved it here, my only regret is that I couldn't fit that delicious red in my suitcase! Great value for money for the tour, wines and nibbles in a beautiful setting. Hugo our guide, was very knowledgeable and friendly.

We had a lovely wine tasting here through Algaving Tours it included a trip to Silves Castle and here. The wine is really nice! They have some gold winners 🏆 👏. The Vinyard was OK to see, though I've seen better-looking vinyards, this was good, with a nice balcony to sip your wine.

The wine tasting is really worth it! Amazing wine and a beautiful place where to enjoy wine in terrace with a quiet surrounding! I totally recommend it!

We visited here as part of a tour with our wonderful guide Juan. It was very interesting and I loved the location. Such a beautiful place. We finished by sitting on the terrace in the glorious sunshine, tasting some amazing wines.

Wholeheartedly couldn’t recommend a place more! Came here for a wine tasting solo and they made me feel really comfortable and welcoming. The tapas (“snacks”) were great and all wines were delicious (especially the reds). Your estate, wines and staff are truly 5/5!

We stopped in for their white and red wine sampler. We tried 8 different wines with a charcuterie board for 30E per person. Very friendly staff.

A family run winery. Interesting tour of the facility, but sadly, out of season. Tasting session with 4 x wines and a tapas selection.

Came here on a group tour from Lahos. The scenery is lovely and the staff very Knowledgeable about the products. The wine was lovely as well. Tried 2 types of white and 2 red. Not take a red drinker but could happily have drank these.

Very nice wine tasting and tour. The winery is beautiful. The meat and cheese plate was very pricey for what you get, but we still enjoyed the wine and experience.

The place is nice but the wine tour is not worth as for the 8.50 you get the most basic wines with grapes not from the wine estate. Even the Quinta do Frances white wine is not so good to be honest. Finally we were supposed to pay 14.5 eur for the full degustation but we paid 17 eur, I am still wondering why…

Very nice experience! Quinta do Frances is a place to visit when you visit Lagos! We rent a motorbike with my boyfriend and we did the visit and tasting. We lived the tour and the girl from hospitality was great. She has a lot of knowledge in winemaking, it was a pleasure to listen.

I had the best time there ! I was lucky enough to have the place for myself (in December ofc), with a very talented, implicated tour guide. The place is so peaceful and the hosts are very welcoming and caring. You get to enjoy some very fine wines with a beautiful view. A must do.

The winery is a great example of small local vineyards. We went during the off season but the place was busy and unfortunately, understaffed. The wines for the tasting were OK, but their premium wines are worth trying for the added cost. Friendly staff.
