I’ve enjoyed every single moment at Quinta das Relvas. The hosts are lovely easy-going people. My 2-year old loved exploring the place and playing with the farm animals. As an artist, I see this place as an oasis for creativity and self-improvement. Dear Beatriz and António, thank you for such wonderful moments!

I came for an artist residency and the owners Antonio & Beatriz have abusive behaviors and are very aggressive. Ironically, they are not welcoming to artists/people. I flew from Paris to attend the residence. Antonio ended up kicking me out as well as another woman at past 6pm after less than 24 hours there. The residency itself was completely miscommunicated in terms of art creation. I talked to 2 different organizers on the phone to be sure, asking if we would all have separate projects/work on our own art while sharing space / sometimes ideas. Upon arrival, one organizer told me we would be a part of his project. That was NOT okay ! Within an hour, Antonio forced confrontation in aggressive ways several times, under the hat that he is the owner, has the authority around there, and needed to know if we were staying or going (also, the residency was not at all performances as promised, but social work). The only thing they offered me at first, was to stay by paying between 15 to 35 euros a night - if I wanted to stay and still sleep there. To me, art should be about happiness. And our working conditions should be light and tolerant, open. This is my opinion. Especially with the (I can say... false) advertising expressed by them on their website and through talking with them. I had nowhere else to go & sleep that night (he knew it 100%). And he refused for no apparent reason to help us / to drive us back to the train station as he had done to pick me up at my arrival. He also insulted me for no purpose or reason during our confrontations. Such a bad experience and money-driven. Verbally abusive owners and no hospitality, toxic energy. :(

Great place to relax with the kids. The facilities are great. No over crowding and very quiet. A nice mix of people and nationalities. The kitchen is super and the tent accommodation is fantastic to just turn up and enjoy. The showers are fast and hot!

It was a really nice place! We arrived to it and since the moment we enter everyone was so nice with us, the place is so big and quite that you can relax and be present at all time. We also order the pizzas for dinner and it was really good! If you like nature, animals, and connecting with yourself, go! Adding information. We came back! After one year and now we experience staying in the houses (tiny) and we loved it! They are making upgrades every time. We have now for dinner vegetable lasagna amazing and an ice cream of natas 🥰🥰 adding more new pictures.

Beautiful place with enormous potential but very poor management and lack of hygiene. The shared kitchen and toilets were only cleaned once a day, the bottles with fresh water are not washed between one guest and another and the food service is very poor. I do not recommend the Eco houses, they have a lot of humidity and animals that will bit you for sure during the night! In the end we actually had a good time and people were very friendly but I will not come back.

Nice area, pet and kids friendly. Very good location as it has stands nearby some facilities such as pharmacies, restaurants and some interesting points. Nice project, though. Property has good vibes and the staff is friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful and restful night in one of the large/permanent tents. Fresh spring water straight from the fountain. Comfortable beds. A well equipped kitchen. An overall lovely stay.

Increadible experience. Very calm place, perfect to disconnect and enjoy the nature. The staff was also very nice. There's a small bar where you can grab a drink or a coffee in the morning.
