A great authentic bengali restaurant. All the dishes we tried were very flavoursome. The portions were really good. From the external of the restaurant i may never walked in to the restaurant however im glad i did and it was all due to the prevous positive reviews.

An amazing hole in the wall authentic Bangladeshi restaurant in what would be considered as a Bangladeshi corner in the heart of Lisbon. It passed the authenticity check when the chai was served brewed and steaming hot, karak. The Channa Daal, Fish and Prawns were on point, spicy and flavorful. The staff was extremely courteous. Note: this is a hole in the wall so expect it to be rough around the edges but the food and service more than make up for the atmosphere.

Food are amazing, I think I will eat here often. But it is quite stuffy because it’s a small space. They serve with halal meat so that’s a bonus. They also have good vegetarian options in my opinion. The portion is so worth the price.

Five stars is not enough to express how good it was! Delicious food and great service. Everything we ordered with my friends was extremely good and prices are very low. I strongly recommend!

Decent restaurant for Bengali cuisine. Plenty of options on the menus. My favourite dish is their beef curry. Always tests amazing!!! All the curries are cooked with perfection Tried biryani once, it was not the best though. I hope they will do some refurbishment soon. This place have the potential to be a very good Restaurant for Bengali foods.

I recently visited Spicy Restaurant & Grill, drawn in by its bustling atmosphere, particularly noted by the presence of many Indian customers. This initially seemed like a promising sign of authenticity. Upon arrival, I opted for the ‘mix vegetable kurma’ paired with a garlic naan. Unfortunately, the kurma was a letdown. It appeared to be made from frozen vegetables and was doused in a very average sauce, lacking the depth and flavor one expects from traditional Indian cuisine. Communication with the staff was another area of concern. The waiters' limited proficiency in English coupled with the necessity to actively flag one down to place an order indicated a lack of attentiveness and customer service. The restaurant itself is quite basic, adhering to a no-frills, simplified approach. Considering the overall experience and the food quality, I cannot recommend Spicy Restaurant & Grill, especially to visitors looking for an authentic and engaging dining experience. There are several other restaurants in the neighborhood offering better value and more satisfying culinary experiences at the same affordable prices.

Average entree price is between 7-10 Euro. The quantity is decent. Not exactly the most authentic turnout, but comparatively much better as compared to the other local options. Chicken Tandoori Biryani was more like Fried Rice with Chicken Tandoori. Naan was good and authentic. Service was good.

Amazing food - delicious, authentic and came out so quickly. The people working were very friendly to us, even though we were tourists. The price was just incredible. Thank you so much guys! For someone looking for gluten free and vegetarian food, this was perfect.

Quintessential Bangladeshi food, not bengal food. Bengal food actually carries the combined meaning and idea of Bangladesh and Kolkata cuisine. But if you want to experience the real Bangladeshi style streetside cooking than this is the right place for you. The people of Chilli's Kitchen are capable to giving you an accurate image of it. But beware dont compare this place to a well designed, high priced posh resturant. Because they represent the flavour and taste of working class cuisine of Bangladeshi people not the dinner place for white coller and well offs. Even their environment and siting arrangement reminded me of a street side dinner of Bangladesh. Similiarly, their target group of customers are the people working aroung the Martim Muniz area and the whole Lisbon I guess. I wont be surprised if the same bunch of people turn up everyday for lunch. I dont even live in Lisbon but everytime I visit, I always treat myself at Chillis kitchen as it remind me what is really the streetside food of Bangladesh taste like. I want to convey this message to all the people who is foreign to Bangladeshi food but want to explore authentic Bangladeshi cuisine, pay a visit to Chillis Kitchen. I can assure you that it wont be expensive and the people there will treat you nicely. But ignore it if you are unable to coupe with spicy food.

On our last trip to Portugal we were told about the street on which we can find some Indian restaurant. We happen to come across this small restaurant and were really not sure if we want to go in with a party of 10 including small children. Host was very gracious and he create two tables for our party and seated us immediately even though they were quite full. Our server was very accomodating and patient and he made excellent suggestion for both vegetarian and nonvegetarian diners. Where this place excelled was the taste of all the dishes and it impressed all of us. Excellent place that should be visited.

Food was spicy a bit waiter should ensure first to customer which types of spice they want . From my experience three types of spice goes with a curry 1. Curry hot 2. Madras hot 3. Vindaloo hot. Even though chef forget to put salt in curry and bring it again from the pan which is not acceptable in a good quality restaurant. In conclusion, would like to say staff is non experienced and not attentive in work .

Couldn't be anymore authentic Bangladeshi foods. We tried beef curry and Rui fish. The beef curry was 110/100. The Rui fish was also very tasty, but compared to the beef, it would be 90. I wish I found this restaurant on the first day of our arrival in Lisbon. The sweets we tried were rosh-malai and cream Jam. They were simple Bangladeshi sweets. Not too good but not bad at all.
