Lovely burgers and super friendly staff . You do have to climb or descend very steep stairs, so not wheelchair friendly.

We absolutely loved the food and service here. It’s a bit hidden, but worth the stairs! 😄 The burgers were delicious and the fries (potato logs) were also very good. They accommodated my whole family (8 people) and were quick to get us our food. I’ll definitely be going back!

The best way to end a fantastic day at Sintra. We were very lucky to find this place, not only because for the quality of the food but also for the friendly and close service. It was also very quiet and nice.

6 different burger orders from our group and each of us loved their food. The place is clean, the owner very friendly, quick service and tasty food. Wonderful experience.

Confusingly named tiers of burgers which refer to number of buns stacked up rather than the number of meat patties. Server asked how I would like the meet cooked but then cooked them all to well done anyway. In a touristy area this place is decent but it’s not the best burger in the world like other reviewers have said.

We have literally experienced heaven while eating our burger. The ingredients were great and the food came out really fast! The staff is incredibly nice and genuine, you can tell they enjoy their job and they’re very good at it. The local is cozy and nice. We’ll definitely come back if we come to Sintra again!

This place has amazing food. The burgers were juicy and flavorful. The ingredients were fresh and well paired together. Their fries (potato wedges/logs) were some of the best I’ve ever had. It is a little hole in the wall place but absolutely worth it!!

Chanced upon this place after walking into town from Sintra National Palace. Great burgers but what wowed us our the potato wedges! Yum!!! Cash only though.

Awesome burger! The owner served us and was super friendly and genuine. After all the castle steps and hiking through Sintra this burger hit the spot. Fries and sweet potato chips were delicious too.

We had a great dinner. Nothing fancy but the burgers were fabulous! The buns are homemade, split in 3, separating the lettuce and tomatoes from the hot burger. Brilliant!! We had the 4 deck, the veggie burger and the bacara. All were delicious! Joseph, the owner, was so kind and informative. We will be back!

Best burger I have had in a long time--perfectly cooked, delicious topping. Excellent friendly service and a great view. And surprising good prices. Amazing!

Came here twice. The gentleman there is always friendly and the single deck burger with mushroom and red pepper sauce was great.Comes with fries. Price is decent.Highly recommend! Will be back anytime we visit.

Such a welcoming and cozy environment, and some of the best burgers one could eat! Everything was cooked to perfection, no need for condiments the burger speaks for itself. Highly recommend: away from the tourist crowds, incredible value, hands down one of the best choices for food!

Great prices, great burgers, very convenient after a long day and right across from the train station. Kids loved it, owners very friendly, fast service.

Its a gem hiding opposite of the train station. The staffs were very friendly and helpful, they even advised us on directions of places to visit. Food came fast and the burger was freshly cooked. They even have a pool table. I enjoyed the vibe and decor. All in all its a great place to relax.

My experience with Sabot Restaurant was very good. We were late for a trip on Sintra and we found this restaurant. Is closed to Train station and food git ready quickly! They have this "dish of the day" that you pay €7.5 for a lunch with potato and a non-alcoholic drink. The lunch + fried potato are well served and you can consider a satisfactory meal. Simple but delicious. Attending was amazing. The man was very kind and told us some tips about the places to visit in the city. The ambient is cozy. Toilet is "hidden" in a secret passage but is clean and ok. Summarizing, I recommend. Wheelchair is complicated, once the restaurant is in the middle of the building and the access is by stairs. I remember they have takeaways! And it's cheap!

Amazing burgers with a great atmosphere and view. We came in on off hours and the owner and his mother cooked us a delicious lunch. Awesome friends. Friendly service. Nice view of the sea on the second floor. A little gem in the city on Sintra.

We happened to stumble in on a whim. The menu looked good on the street so we took a chance. As a couple of Canadians looking for something familiar we were pleasantly surprised with not only the quality of the food but attention to detail on how we wanted it prepared. I strongly recommend... John/Crystal...

California man, four weeks in PT now….this is the best burger I’ve had in PT. Well spiced, juicy, meaty, cheesy, grilled onions…yum! Fries well done and spiced. Even salted (I don’t know why this is unusual on Portugal). Had a 30 minute chat with the staff. Very friendly! Treat yourself to bite down this staircase. You won’t regret it!

We had a burger at Sabot after our day in Sintra and were very satisfied! Everything was freshly prepared (right in front of us) and the fries were very tasty. The entrance is unfortunately a bit hidden, as it doesn't do justice to the cosy dining room with its wonderful view. You sit very nicely and we were served in a really friendly way. Many greetings to the crew 🙂

Tasty burger cooked medium on request to keep it juicy. really friendly owner, good vibes all round. Win win 🏆

The waiter and cook are highly friendly, personal and quick. The potatoes I liked a lot, the burger was -in regard to the price - really good. For me, the bread is too thick, so I let half of it behind. But I guess that's very subjective. Also, no specific burger sauce on their burgers. All in all I recommend as the people working there are very nice, prices are totally fine.

Great local place for a quick and cheap burger. The burgers are really tasty and they do their job considering that the average price for one is 5€. Staff is also friendly and the bar also has a pool table.

Great food at fair prices. Totally recommend. My wife and I got burger x2 + garlic bread + drinks for only 20 euros. Garlic bread was amazingly good. Burgers were really good, all freshly made. Mayo was amazing. The owner was super nice and speaks perfect English. A good place to leave some money in local hands.

Excellent service, the best experience in Sintra! From outside it looks like a fancy place for tourists, but it is quite the oposite, neat place where locals gather, you can play billiard or a game "try to find a toilet" (you have to go inside to understand) :)) Family atmosphere with great food for low price, not loud music, I never thought there would be such a place in Sintra! The waiter was also apparently owner of the place. Actually I felt better here than at the castles...

Great place. The staff were really friendly, it’s great value for money as well as the food being delicious and well presented. On top of all of this there is a pool table. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Sintra

The price it's really good, and the burger it's... Fine. You can't really ask for more. But the kitchen is next to the tables, so you pretty much taste the smoke. There's also the problem of having to pay in cash, because they don't accept credit cards if they aren't from protuguese banks. The waitress was really nice, and the didn't have any problem in letting us eat even tho it was almost 4pm.
