So we had the wild idea, we wanted to visit a local winery. From thought to action is just one step, so we called around 9 o'clock and asked about the daily tours. The office was not sure that a tour was taking off in the morning, so they said they would talk to the guide to see if anything was in the pipe. We set out as we had another thing to do on the way. En route the phone calls and the guide told us, that she could do us a tour at 11 (normal tours are at 10:30) because she needed to prepare a few things. We said fab! So at 11 o'clock we arrived at Quinta do Sanguinhal and Catarina was there in the courtyard to receive us. We had the most fantastic tour of the winery and the grounds ending in a phenomenal wine tasting in the Old wine press Hall. So much atmosphere, so much spirit. And Catarina guided us all the way, with loving care and encouragement. She is a fantastic host and guide! Oh and the if you are wondering about the wine... Go taste for yourself! Some of the bottles blew me away!

The winery tour with Anna was super nice and the infos we got very interesting. The wine of her family‘s vineyard is a delight - we had a great afternoon there.

Had a fantastic experience as a family with our 6 year old twins. The staff were incredibly accommodating of young children providing them with toys and snacks, so that the adults could enjoy the tour and tasting. The tour guide had an excellent command of English and we really enjoyed the tasting experience where she walked us through the aromas and flavours on the palette.

We toured the vineyard and had lunch as part of the group. Ana was our your guide. The wine is fantastic and the staff is very warm and accommodating. We will return.

There aren't many wineries around this area that offer tours and tastings but this one does and that too with class. For starters the tour was presented by a member of the family that owns the winery and this takes the experience to an entirely different level. Following the tour, which is very educational, you experience a selection of their wines accompanied with a detailed explanation for each. A highly recommended tour that will not disappoint you. Reservations are a must.

We did a tour here through Airbnb. It's such a beautiful winery with an even more beautiful history. The family that owns it are very knowledgeable and kind. The wine is superb! We had such a lovely time. Highly recommend coming for a visit! Book ahead and get the full experience!

This place has so much history! The wines of the area are really something special and the family running this winery have been doing so for four generations. They have lovely gardens, an old distillery and a huge tasting room. I believe they do events as well.

Awesome family-owned winery in Bombarral. Our family took the 2-hour tour which included wine tasting in the end. The wine is fantastic and the winery is simply beautiful. I highly recommend this winery! Kudos to Vasco, our tour guide/wine connoisseur, who did an amazing job!
