Great surf school! Great people! Went for a bodyboad lesson with my partner, we had different levels of experience and they were super cool about it. Rui, who went to the water with us was really helpful. Thanks to him I'm able to duck dive with more certainty and less anxiety 😁 Make sure you pay them a visit 😉

Having tried lessons elsewhere, I came to Caparica to find a better place to learn surfing. These guys are ace. Luis is a highly diligent and capable teacher who delivers his instruction with immense care and attention to the individual. I’ve seen him wade out neck deep for the more capable students and seconds later hanging off the back of a board following a wave helping a struggling student to balance and achieve their goals. Right from the warm-up, your lesson will be thorough, super friendly and fun. Easy 5 stars. Big thanks to the Boss Fernando and your great team.

Our two sons (13 and 16) took lessons at Evolution Surf School, they had never touched a board before. They had a wonderful time and as parents we felt safe and in goodhands with professional coaches. Thank you all, we'll be back for more! Elisabetta and Alessandro from Italy!

Group Surf Lesson - fantastic session with Luis on Sunday, group sizes are limited to 6, resulting in high quality coaching and feedback from instructors throughout the session. First time surfing in 5 years and I managed to stand up after 1 hour with Luis’ guidance - can’t wait to get back in the water! Highly recommend.

The location is great….. because being right beside the beach makes it easier to bring the boards to the sea than for the surf schools in the town…… Also , Filipe and Rita were very good instructors. They were fun and friendly….they also made sure to give us lots of help during the lesson…… for example….. my partner and I were struggling to stand up on the boards, so Rita suggested we swap boards with other surfers who had bigger boards than us and were doing well. …. This made it easier for us and caused no problems to the other surfers…..They also gave all of their instructions in both Portuguese and English, which was very useful for us. I would recommend Caparica Evolution Surf School.

My friend and I had the best time doing a surf lesson here. Rita is and amazing instructor and has great energy and approach to teaching. We will definitely be coming back next time we are in the area and would highly recommend to anyone

I am an absolute beginner and had a lesson with Luis. It was amazing! He knows how to help you catch your first waves. The surfing process was very friendly, calm, safe, and full of emotions from the ocean. Luis provided guidance on all the basics, and now we're heading to the ocean in 15 minutes. Warming up beforehand helps us be prepared, and the team has a professional and focused approach. The booking process is very fast and easy through WhatsApp. Thank you once again, and it definitely a 5-star! 🏄🏄🏄🏄🏄

Had a first lesson there and have been back 5 times since! (And have brought loads of friends who have repeated as well). All of the teachers are good. But Zéke and Rita in particular are personal favourites. Each provides specific feedback which means I can improve week on week. Fernando, who manages the school is just as wonderful! Would recommend to all, whether just passing through Lisbon, or long term residents.

What can I say Fernando and the team at Caparica Evolution Surf School are awesome. I’d highly recommend them…. They are really lovely and supportive. I really look forward to my weekly class, I’d do it 3 times a week if work allowed for it. Special shout out to Ze who has really got to know what I need personally and helped me improve. I can now catch my own green waves (albeit small ones) and I’ve definitely grown in confidence over the last few months which for me is amazing to notice! Thank you team… looking forward to being back in Sept/October.

We did a surf lesson for a bachelorette party, we were 8 girls! It was amazing, the teachers were really careful and nice with us. Moreover, the sport is crazy! 😍😍 Thanks again to the team!!! We’ll come back for sure🏄‍♀️

Great lesson with Zé and Rita. Both my friend and I managed to catch some waves and it was quite some fun! I'm sure Zé is a fantastic teacher for those who want to take individual lessons and improve considerably their skills. Fernando was also nice and super responsive, he even took pictures of us while surfing. Definitely recommended!

Took a group surf lesson. There were too many people, a group of 4 didn’t register but still joined the lesson and as a result we were with about 15 students and 3 instructors. It was also 16pm so there were a lot of people in the sea. I think for this reason they couldn’t really tend properly to each person individually. I did catch a lot of waves, but the instructors didn’t do anything but hold your board. I would’ve loved to get some feedback or learn new things. Besides that they seem like they know what they’re doing. Thankyou for the lesson.

Great school. Perfect group lessons with Luis – you get lot of attention from teacher even in bigger group. Professionality and safety first. Luis remembers your progress and works personally with every student on their improvement. Couldn't choose better school!

Great experience! We had a private lesson for two with Luís, he explained basics very clearly, was patient, motivating and encouraging, but also challenging in the best way possible for beginners like us! Paid a lot of attention and gave us individual feedback, so it was easy to know what you should work on to improve. Totally recommend!

Its nice with some warm up exercises before diving in the weaves. Coaches are nice. It depends on how you want to learn. For experience classes, I would definitely recommend here! I think its better to check foot rope before giving to the client for safety measures.
