It's a very friendly and pleasant place to visit. With nice views and really great places to visit. Some of the buildings do require a bit of maintenance but overall its all OK The main attraction the Cathedral Sé its being "fixed" at the moment so one can only wait for its return to prestime with fresh face to return there.

Small provincial town that is in a deep sleep...not touristical at all, but it has some very beautifull corners.

A true traditional Portuguese city as it is far from the main tourist attractions (Lisbon, Porto, Algarve).

We only stayed one night, not a lot to see. The hotel was very good.

Great restaurants and cafes, lovely shops. There is a lovely park with an amazing giant tree, apparently it is called a plane tree and is more than 100 years old.

My second home and family , trying to explain would confuse us both
