DO NOT GO HERE!!! Scott Mayhew has the gall to call himself a "pain management doctor", yet all he tells you is "I can't help you with that." He does nothing to help with pain. He will not prescribe any medications. What a quack. He did an injection procedure that did nothing but cause more pain then the billing wouldn't change coding as per insurance so it cost me more money. Because of him and the billing department I missed appointments with my pcp. Office manage REFUSES to returns my phone calls. Very unprofessional. This place cares more about the money than they do about the patients. Worst medical facility in South Carolina. PLEASE go somewhere else.

I never had a good experience here nor has my wife. The doctor I saw was extremely rude, uncaring, & unprofessional. Honestly, I think he was on something due to his fast speech, bad attitude, angry demeanor and pinpoint pupils. Calls were never returned, wrong prescriptions were sent out that could have potentially been lethal, random extra charges were sent to me without a good explanation. Avoid this place, There are better qualified, more caring, less potentially drugged-out doctors available that won’t overcharge you & send you random unexplained bills.

I was a patient here for about a year recently I was mistreated terribly by the billing person she was awful cold, vengeful and kept sending me bills for a missed appointment she was incompetent I can’t imagine her dealing with elderly people who can’t fight back. She’s an awful example for Carolina Health Specialists and should be fired. I wrote a letter to the office manager to which nothing was done so be advised if you are not in a position to defend yourself don’t go here especially senior people who need understanding and patience. She treated me like a criminal and I’m leaving this practice because of her. I recently found another endocrinologist immediately and would never recommend this practice due to the way this woman treated me with cold indifference and her anger issues toward me. The medical team was always very good to me but this woman was awful and I’m leaving because of her. She was so obnoxious she sarcastically asked me if she should cancel my other future appointments I said no I’d take care of it. I didn’t know if she would cancel them or not. So beware if you want to be treated with respect by this person forget it find another practice

I was new in the area and went here. They put me with Dr Senn what a joke!! I was loosing weight and had a lot of stress and needed help, this incredibly rude person was yelling at me to eat more cake and ice cream. I told them do not ever put me with him again, I cannot believe he's a dr. Then I went to Dr Sherri Nwanegwo who was nice 1st couple times then she was the same as Senn. Fortunately she's gone but horrible when you need help and get treated so bad

The staff at the front desk is not very friendly, as soon as you are called to the back to see your dr it's all very nice, Dr Sara Khalili is so nice makes you feel very comfortable. Dr. Sara is. So nice. She is very thorough in your health care. I cannot say enough good about Dr. Sara and her staff.

We had a great experience with the staff and Dr. Zieno. He was so professional and just a great doctor who addressed my concerns and took a genuine interest in my issues. I highly recommend this great doctor and his staff.

I've had a great experience with Dr. Khalil. She never rushes me and takes her time answering all of my questions. The front desk staff are also extremely nice and I really like the portal system they use in lieu of having to call in (not that you can't do that too). The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5, is I've had a couple of confusing instances with the coding of my appointments not being accurate and having to call my insurance. These have always been resolved with the help of the front desk, but it is an area the practice can improve on.

I’ve never had a bad experience here. I see dr. Senn and he has always been very friendly. In fact he takes the time to have a short conversation every checkup. I wanted to see what all the bad reviews were about. Basically it seems like people complaining they were late and the doctor wouldn’t see them. Why would you blame the office for that! They tell you up front to be early for an appointment, it’s not that hard.

Worst Doctors office I’ve been to and I’ve gone to low income over worked offices I had shown up 2 minutes late called and said I’d be 10 minutes and the desk nurse said “ooooo we’re gonna have to reschedule you Dr. Poston won’t see you.” This isn’t the only time I had a problem I had gotten a covid test 2 years ago that they LOST for three weeks then called one day and said Mr Kemp we found you test you came back positive so you will have to wait 2 weeks from the day you got the test ITS ALREADY BEEN THREE WEEKS I MISSED AN EXTRA WEEK OF ALREADY BECAUSE I COULD NOT RETURN UNTIL I HAD THE RESULTS!! My point is if I came back negative I would of missed work for 3 weeks for nothing but they have no idea what they are doing and do not care please if you can go elsewhere

I see #3’physicians here, they all treat me well! The lab tech’s,nurses are very nice, polite, & remember me. I don’t wait long,& all #3’Dr’s explain, go over & beyond w/my care. They all take very good care of my many health issues, refer me out when needed. Dr. Carr is a wonderful pcp.,& CHS. close to home, its convenient, portal is great w/Dr’s & nurses answering quickly, extremely polite. (& Anyone not having a good experience, I’d have to say, is probably being treated negatively everywhere they go?) I’ve never seen it happen, a patient for over 10+years!?! I’m not elderly, but have more medical issues than a 80’yr.old, so think they’re taking great care of me! Thank-you CHS., for giving me a better quality of life! <3

I will be finding a different doctor. They are extremely unprofessional here. They randomly charged me a $35 no show fee when I have an email and a text saying my appointment isn’t until 12/5/22. Nobody called or anything. I’ve brushed off my previous experiences here thinking they’re just busy but this was my last straw with them. Definitely don’t recommend.

I have been going to Dr. Carr for 11yrs She takes her time with each patient so there could be a wait. Sandra is very good takes good care of us. All in all I will go to Dr. Carr.

Been going here for number of years. Staff has always been polite and professional. Doctors are caring and thorough. Have never had bad experience, no matter who I saw over the years, or what my issue was at the time. Highly recommend them!

If I could give this office 0 stars I would. I was a patient for many years under Catherine Rowell. Her last name changed at one point as well to Poston so it’s either Poston or Rowell now. I always felt like I was just a number, she did not have good bedside manner, and overall was not happy. I stayed because I didn’t want to deal with changing. The front office staff is also rude, and difficult to deal with. I have also been a patient for years with the same business at 82nd Parkway location, and they are amazing. I have never had an issue there, only at this office. The person in charge needs to fire & hire staff at Socastee location. I was told by Catherine I no longer needed a papsmear every year but every 3 years was ok. She waited too long to do a papsmear that later caused health issues for me. The final straw for me was I booked an appt for abnormal bleeding off my period. When I arrived on time, and checked in, I was questioned in front of the lobby of people about my balance on my Acct which wasn’t with them, it was with 82nd Parkway. I explained I have an auto immune condition, and I have a payment plan set up with them for out of pocket I pay each month, and I’m current. They never asked about this before, just this visit. They wouldn’t listen, insisting I pay in full before being seen. I advised Catherine didn’t allow her patients to be late, and this was making me late. Could we call them to verify what I said after my appt. They refused, and had me call right then. It was so embarrassing and uncalled for on top of what I had already been going through with pain, Flare ups, treatments, and the cost. Then, when we finished, and they heard I told the truth. I start to go back to my appt, and they tell me she won’t see me because I’m late. I asked if they told her I was on time, paid my co pay but the front desk held me up unnecessarily. The staff asked her, came back to me, and relayed the message she said I was late before, and she wouldn’t see me. I said she’s going to bring up 1 time being late in the past? Wow. She also said she couldn’t see me at all for my current issue so I said they should’ve never booked the appt. I was made to leave. I left in tears, my fiancé & I took notes, he went by furious the next day to discuss but of course they used HIPPA as a reason they couldn’t talk to him. We contacted the higher ups, and filed a formal complaint. Didn’t seem to care, and wouldn’t be surprised if they even had a conversation with her over it. I went to a new OBGYN right away, and wished I had changed sooner. It was such a better experience. I don’t believe Catherine should even be practicing OB, only PCP. My new Dr. Who treated me with compassion, and care, but unfortunately due to how long Catherine waited to do a papsmear, she found pre cancerous cells, I had to have surgery to cut the portion out, risk being able to have a child again, and thankfully they got it all or I would’ve had to do chemo. I feel like a lawsuit should’ve been in order but it would’ve been a headache I didn’t want to go through. I really hope this saves someone else from going to her, and this office. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE customer service, care, and opposite of what you should feel going to the Dr for your health! Stay far away! This is overdue but I’m glad I remembered!

Very positive experience and I was very pleased with all the staff members. Dr Senn was excellent. Ultra friendly support staff. It amazes me to read some of the other reviews- must be entitled retirees who insist on being pampered..... If you can't take the honest direct opinion of a respected doctor then don't go.

I've been with my doctor at this group for a long time. He is superb and I always felt I had the best. I would always tell friends and family how great they were. This is my first year on more than one occasion when I needed to see him that they couldn't schedule me for less than three months out. The receptionist was rather uncaring about it. And this was about a possible cancer related issue when I read I have six weeks to catch it before it becomes too late. Unacceptable. They have clearly overbooked themselves in the interest of profit to themselves first, with any true care for patients last.

Dr Mayhew is horrific only surpassed by his nurse who screams a s belittles patients. 2 visits with an mri of blown disc and he refuses pain pills, I was on 3rd month since diagnosis. When I asked if he was MY doc and if this was in fact pain mgmt he left room in midddle of my sentence. Then the nurse cones in and says he’s not coming back so “deal with it” unprofessional do t waste your time and money find another center.

I have been seeing Catherine Poston PA for several years now. She is always caring & compassionate & “listens.” She is a problem solver & has helped me immensely for my health needs. I never have a long wait and the staff conduct themselves very professionally.
