Update: Thank you for the reply but we did do that. We called and talk to the manager the night we ordered and they did not offer to Compensate us or anything (what’s more she seemed almost annoyed that I didn’t just except it as is despite there being a fail on every single dish). They basically made it sound like it was my issue for expecting things to look like what’s on the Internet. If she had seemed at all apologetic or offered to remove the failed items off the bill I most certainly wouldn’t have gone to one star. It’s not something that I do except for the worst of the worst experiences. Original Ordered food and picked it up. Huge mistake getting food from there. The Bavarian pretzels were burned and hard as a rock, the wedge was loose lettuce, the beef sliders were one big burger, the One nighter burger had very spicy bacon and the steak sandwich had no cheese. Basically, none of items were as expected and as advertised on their website. We were not offered credit or to remake any of the items. We could have ordered from a number of other restaurants at the Broadway of the Beach and have big regrets about choosing Bar Louie! Go there to get drunk. Not to eat.

We are looking for a happy hour place while we are here for 2 months. Enjoyed the mimosas, $15 pitcher. And, was nice that they offer a half price app but nachos were pretty dry. Very nice server.

Nice atmosphere for casual fun. Food was very good and reasonably priced. Service was excellent.

Food was good. Our favorite was the deep fried pickles. I got blackened shrimp tacos. They were good, but i have had some better. Atmosphere is good and service was great.

In town for my birthday celebration and found Bar Louie here for dinner, as Bar Louie is our go to place back home. The bar itself was " please wait to be seated" verses " please seat yourself atmosphere. Everything was good including my drink that was recommended by our server. We would come back again when in the area.

Stopped here Wed July 14th at about 6pm. Place was moderately busy. Upon entering couldn’t tell if we should seat ourselves or wait. Waited for a while - people who came in behind us gave up and seated themselves. Finally, someone came and sat us then was slightly exasperated at the group that had seated themselves. Inside is nicely decorated and has a nice atmosphere to it. We were shown the q-code to get the menu. Scrolled through it then noticed the table nearby had real menus. Went to the bar and got one of those. The paper menus are much better laid out with better info. Ordered the Parm grilled cheese & Shaved steak sandwich. Waited way longer than it should have taken for them to be brought to the table. Service was slow and lazy. Never checked on if the food was ok or if we wanted refills on our drinks. Both were ok but nothing spectacular. The Shaved steak was over-salted and under cheesed. Half the fries were limp. I really wanted to like this place but was disappointed by the staffs inattentiveness and food quality. If you check my other reviews I don’t give low rating lightly. But, Bar Louie definitely needs to up their game.

Best, friendliest restaurant/bar in Myrtle Beach. Best entertainment also.

Rude staff and overpriced drinks. Bouncer at door made my daughter throw away her icee so we could get in to meet up with our family. Go somewhere else

This was my first time at a Bar Louie. We arrived in town very late after a long drive and were looking for an open restaurant with fruity beach drinks. After hearing how awesome Bar Louie is I expected a lot. However, this dining experience was just very OK. The service was extremely slow, causing us to get out of our seats to flag our waitress down multiple times. The place was nearly empty so there was no excuse for slow drink orders. We ordered the fish and chicken tacos. The quality of the food tasted off to me. It tasted like the refrigerator. Or the food was old and microwaved. I moved on to a glass of red wine, when the wine came the glass had lip prints and fingerprints on them and a fleck of something white floating about. I couldn't find our waitress so I got out of my seat and went to the bar directly to exchange my dirty glass of wine for a fresh one. When the bill came it was $90. A couple of drinks and tacos! Not worth it at all. However, if you like people watching the outdoor patio is perfect.

We are from out of state and looking for a good place to eat, when we walked in they had a seat yourself sign, me and 4 other girls walked to a table, and had no one greet us and not a single person come and ask us for anything to drink or eat for over 45 minutes. The dining wasn’t that busy. When we finally had a nice gentleman (chandler) ask us if we have been helped yet he was very fast to try and make sure we could get our food as fast as possible due to us being so annoyed. When we got out appetizers they were cold, Tatar tots weren’t even fully cooked. Lots of waitresses where standing around staring at each other rather then helping. Or assisting at the restaurant. This is by far probably the worst place on the boardwalk. Thank you Chandler for using your time so wisely to get out our food as fast as possible.

I don’t give many low star reviews, but this place is something else…not in a good way. Enter and notice immediately the bar tender is vaping! Right there in full view. Never seen that before! Didn’t try to hide it, and coworkers said nothing. Ok maybe a different vibe here…Whatever. She continued vaping throughout the time we spent there. Get to our seat and our server was so clearly high it was laughable. Ordered our fried pickles and drinks. It was quick and easy. In between getting our appetizer our server walked by and clearly had just gone outside to smoke some more, cause the smell was FRESH! Oof! Good family atmosphere for our 14yr old. Because of the high server and vaping bartender, environment gets 0/5. Fried pickles were very meh. Bland flavor, good crisp on the batter, and ok ranch dipping sauce. For dinner I had the Gastroburger with tots. The burger itself, very messy and just OK on flavor. Tots were just OK as well. Nothing to write home about. 3/5 Wife ordered the Hot Honey Chicken sandwich with fries. Nothing about it was hot, spicy nor temperature. The sandwich, like the pickles, were just very bland. Not a lot of flavor. 2/5 Son ordered the Four Cheese flatbread with a side of Mac and cheese. The pizza looked nothing like the menu image and tasted like a microwaved pizza. Very unimpressive. The mac and cheese was very bland as well. 1/5 While the food all “looked” good, it was not satisfying. First time at a Bar Louie, and we likely won’t return. Terrible first impression with the staff and vibe. And food was lackluster. Maybe that’s some people’s thing. Not us. The burger helped this remain a 2 star review overall. Just barely.

My cousin and I had the worst experience we’ve ever had. Once we sat down a family sat down after us and we’re greeted first. Then our waitress finally came and took our order the only thing we order was a drink and shrimp tacos. Meanwhile a table of 6 sat in front of us and another part of 4 sat by us. The family that sat after we arrived already ordered their food ate and paid and left before we got out 3 tacos. And the party of 6 all had their food before us as well. After 45 minutes we finally got out food and it was cold. After taking it back speaking with the manager they comped our food. The drinks are overpriced we paid $12.76 for one drink and waited about an hour for our food. We will not be returning to this place no more.

Visit May 3, 2023. Great Karaoke bar, with a lot of talented guests during visit. Full bar and good food. Staff were friendly and professional. Mobility impaired accessible.

Love this place. I go for the karaoke. The laser show is shining in peoples eyes. Pretty sure that’s not good.

What led us to Bar Louie was a search for Vegan/Vegetarian food and they serve beyond beef patties. The fun vibes and karaoke kept us there for over an hour after we ate. Most of the singers were not going to have any claims to fame but the whole bar cheered everyone on just the same. It was so much fun singing with them as a group! Great lighting and ambience, as well. My friend had a couple lemon martinis she enjoyed. The burgers were super delicious. Mine was a shaved sirloin steak burger and my friend had a Beyond Beef burger with her favorite trimmings. The shoestring fries were yummy. Didn't really care for the tater tots. Also, the fried pickles needed to be cooked longer. Still, we both had yummy burgers and a great time singing and cheering people on. Will DEFINITELY go back next time I'm in Myrtle Beach, if at all possible!

Really good Bar food, cool atmosphere, fun people good staff, great beer place but the margarita is probably the worst margarita I’ve ever had. Stick to the beer and food is my suggestion

The Bartender was the best. He made the best cosmo. His last night was Wednesday but I wanted to return just because of his service.

Great experience. We sat at the bar and ordered 3 food items to split and had 2 drinks each. The food had lots of good flavor and highly recommend the flatbread pizzas. Drinks were strong and service was some of the best service we have received in Myrtle Beach. We will definitely be back and highly recommend! Was worth the money spent.

Nice place. We sat at the bar and had lunch. There were TV everywhere so we could catch up on all the sports.. Its a little on the expensive side but its located on Broadway at The Beach. Food was good but it took a while to get our food and it wasn't that busy.

Can't give you a fair opinion on food went just for the bar. The drinks were good nothing that you can mess up at least what I ordered. Live music some nights looks good and bathroom was clean most of the time I went in

First and last time here. My wife food came out cold and when asked to be remade food came back out the same. Drinks and service mediocre. Good Luck here.

Waited over 30 mins for our waiter to bring out our bill. had to eventually go find him ourselves and then he still took 15 more minutes. would not recommend is you want fast service. and he hit us with the auto 20% gratuity... party of 11 people so I understand kinda but with service that bad it's hard to consider recommending this place or ever going back. lots of other better places in the area.

Only reason I couldn't give atmosphere a 5 is bc of flies. But the food was the absolute best. I recommend the voodoo pasta and hot and honey chicken sandwich. Even have great vegan options. Drinks were good had the envy and diva. Will definitely go back!

I thought I had missed out on trying this chain when it was available in my hometown mall, however after my experience today I’m glad I never wasted my money there, but also disappointed that I gave this location a try. Everything was abysmal about my experience today. We sat ourselves as the sign at the entrance said (even though we entered from another entrance and wandered while servers saw us and stared). We sat down by a register, bar and entrance and were not even given a second of anyone’s attention for over 15 minutes! If it wasn’t because I went up to the bar to ask if there was table service we might’ve waited even longer! For reference there was a couple who walked in 10 minutes after us, sat down and received service, drinks and food all well before us. When we finally had someone come to our table he left, then came someone else who didn’t want to take our order but started to and also left handing it off to someone else (who already seemed busy training someone). It was more difficult than necessary placing our order although I will admit the server smiled a few times which made us feel our night would turn around. The food took another half hour to come and of the 2 plates we ordered (cali club & veggie flatbread), 1 lacked rich flavor and the other looked nothing like the picture on the menu or the description. At first I was going to send the flatbread back but didn’t want the hassle so I painstakingly started to pick off things I didn’t like on my flatbread. Just once, our server came to check on us and saw me and the flatbread but moved on (in my experience upon seeing that even if assured things were fine, customer service especially at such a place would’ve dictated making things right). After the pizza proved inedible for myself another one of us said they could take it home and fix it (so as to not have wasted money). At this point we could’ve asked to speak to the manager but I was with my parents who are seniors and were exhausted from a long day and just wanted the ordeal over with. It took another 10-15 minutes for our server to come so we could check out. Once we received our bill we expected the change so we could leave tip, but the server took the money and walked away, didn’t ask if we needed change or even said goodbye, at which point after everything that had occurred we did exactly that, we left without giving anything more for tip or a goodbye. What an unfortunate experience for a place with such great potential. I will make sure to NEVER return and recommend you don’t waste your time or money here.

If i could put zero stars i would i ordered the thats my jam burger and they didn’t have any jam to put on it so instead they put cut up cherries on it instead and the caesar salad they didn’t have any croutons so they put chopped up pretzels on it WILL NOT BE RETURNING !!

Had a really good time. Our waitress was super nice and even though it was packed, she took really good care of us. We had some appetizers which were really good - fried pickles were my fave!!

Broadway Louie's is an AWESOME hangout spot with great food and the live bands are always really great!!

We went in for lunch yesterday. Restaurant was pretty slow, maybe 12 people other than the 3 of us. No one was eating at the tables at the time just bar customers. Was greeted by server who took our drink order and food order. Server came back one more time about 10 min later, to ask if we needed more drinks.. then never returned. Literally never returned. We did not see him at all after that. We waited about 30 more minutes thinking we would be getting our food and could at least gets drinks then... But still nothing. Our server was no where to be found. I finally had to go up to 3 servers who were sitting at the end of the bar ( we were in plain sight of them also) and tell them that we'd been there for over 40 min and never received anymore service or our food. I told them we would just pay for our drinks and go. Upon that time, one of the servers brought us our drink tab 19$ and offered to put our food in a to go plate when it was ready. No.. we were there to dine in, not carry around to- go food while we walked around Broadway. Very disappointed in the service and the way it was handled. Especially since the place was pretty much empty.

We visited this place twice about a month apart. The service at the bar was good but the floor service was very slow. It took very long for our server to come back to our table for drink reorders and food came out very slow. Both times it seemed that our servers didn't want to be there. Nice atmosphere but pricey.

One of our ladies getaway weekend favs this year! Cocktails, tasty appetizers, and The Live Band smacked! Many returns 🙌

We had a poor experience here. First, this was supposed to be a “Gastrobar” but had no beer on tap. They said the machine was broken. Next they did not have a few menu items we wanted to order. On top of this, they messed up one of our entrees, and we all finished by the time we got it. The waiter was very nice, and they gave us the entree for free. The food was good, fair priced, but overall a poor experience.

I enjoyed my visit. My family had a really nice time. The staff made sure we had everything we needed and wanted. Eaven is a wonderful waiter!!!!

We used to have a Krispy Kreme in upstate New York. We no longer have it and it was a treat to be able to have a Krispy Kreme doughnut when I visited Myrtle Beach.

Food was ok, it took an hour and a half to get our food, the kitchen was evidently under staffed..

The review about david starr and him having “personal issues” is a complete lie and absolute insanity, not only is he a fantastic bartender but the person who attacked his character is out of line and out of place to talk about someone, he should he reported by everyone and banned from leaving reviews not only is he completely wrong about that bartender but his review was not about bar louie at all, please people do not pay attention to that review by timothy mcfarland, please report that review at all costs because his comments were completely untrue, out of line and disrespectful, david is an amazing bartender and will stand by that.

Very bad experience. Went with my family at 4:45PM, dinner service starts at 5PM. There was no crowd, but had to wait 10 minutes for the bartender to visit with her friends to see if dinner did start at 5. The bartender started to come to me, but wait another friend just walked in. Waited another 5 minutes for her to finish with her friend to hear yes we serve at 5 pick your own table. Sat down and the server comes over and does not say hello, but tells us if we want to eat, she is not sure when the kitchen staff will show up, might be 1 or 2 hours and we may want to go somewhere else......WHICH WE DID.!!!

Good times, hard liquor. Better people watching than Walmart, believe it or not. Perfect blend of great performers and terrible drunk idiots.

Actually have been twice. First time was on a whim. Walked in late night earlier in the 4th of july weekend..maybe the 1st not sure... bar was about to close and the bartender that evening (wish I'd gotten her name) was very helpful and took care of my friend and I regardless. I enjoyed those brief moments... Second time I came in was on the 3rd (my bday) celebrating with friends.. took a bit to get some service but once we got a bartender's attention we did ok for the evening. I definitely got take care of in that department.. we ordered food which was barely edible.. I enjoyed the drink selection but overall ehhh.. I'd visit again for drinks but probably wouldn't eat here again..
