9th
of
July,
I
was
visiting
this
McDonalds
because
there
wasn’t
other
available
place
to
eat
late
at
night
after
a
concert.
I
had
a
very
bad
experience,
talking
in
terms
of
racism
inside
this
location,
that
happened
among
colleagues.
After
placing
our
order
using
the
touchscreen
machines,
we’ve
got
a
blank
receipt,
no
ink
on
it.
We
had
to
struggle
to
explain
to
the
personnel
our
order
and
they
struggled
to
find
out
what
it
was.
We’re
waiting
for
more
than
30’
to
get
our
food
and
in
the
end
it
came
with
missing
items.
It’s
frustrating
spending
so
much
time,
late
at
night,
waiting
for
some
fries
and
chicken
nuggets
in
a
McDonalds,
especially
when
you’re
hungry,
sleepy,
tired
and
knowing
that
a
fast-food
restaurant
it’s
supposed
to
serve
you
in
maximum
10
minutes.
The
personnel
was
lacking
in
organizational
skills
and
there
was
a
chaos
behind
their
counter.
The
customers
were
complaining
continuously
about
the
waiting
time
and
the
dirtiness
of
the
place
(lots
of
uncleaned
tables
full
with
rubbish).
This
is
not
the
only
disappointment
that
I’ve
got
to
experience.
While
eating
I’ve
got
to
witness
an
episode
of
racism
that
made
me
go
crazy.
The
manager
of
the
place
(I
believe
he
was
the
one)
started
shouting
at
the
security
guy
(this
guy
was
black
in
skin
color),
ordering
him
to
do
something
and
his
words
were
exactly
these
“Se
non
vai
subito
a
fare
quello
che
ti
ho
detto,
ti
faccio
diventare
bianco”
which
means
“If
you
don’t
do
what
I
told
you,
I’ll
make
you
become
white”.
Trust
me,
in
Italian
sounds
way
worse
and
the
way
he
spoke
to
him
was
unforgivable.
In
that
moment
me
and
my
friends
were
shocked.
I
stood
up
and
I
went
directly
to
the
counter
asking
for
his
name.
I
read
FEDERICO
on
the
badge
and
I
got
back
to
my
table.
I
couldn’t
take
it
anymore
and
that
episode
made
me
feel
disgusted
about
the
place,
the
food
and
the
people
working
in
there.
Everything
was
followed
by
different
employees
coming
and
asking
me
what
was
the
matter.
I
advised
them
that
in
2019
I
don’t
tollerate
episode
of
racism
and
that
I
was
going
to
talk
only
with
Federico.
He
came
for
last,
trying
to
understand
my
displeasure
and
pretending
nothing
serious
happened.
I
told
him
that
in
this
kind
of
public
places,
where
everyone
looks
at
you,
the
RESPECT
is
at
the
base
of
the
customers
service
industry.
Especially
in
McDonald’s
which
is
a
chain
that
participates
in
charities
around
the
world
and
is
against
discrimination.
There
aren’t
excuses
for
his
behavior.
And
he
tried
to
apologize
using
all
the
examples
of
this
world.
I
don’t
take
them.
When
you
don’t
have
education
and
respect
for
other
humans
like
you
then
you
don’t
deserve
to
work
with
people.
I
really
hope
he
apologized
to
his
colleague
for
those
words,
but
I
doubt.
Said
this,
I
suggest
everyone
to
complain
about
episodes
like
this
one.
Have
a
word
in
this
world,
otherwise
nothing
ever
will
change.
