We had great time with our kids (8 and 5 yo). Very clean, even shining clean. Every car has its history which is very interesting. You can look, but cannot touch the cars. The souvenir shop at the end of the tour has small car models you can buy.

Amazing museum with great story about Italian automobile manufacturer Alfa Romeo. Several cars with timeline and historical aspects are on display across floors. Engine details are also on display. Suitable for kids and adults. Museum also has Cafe, showroom and souvenir shop. Would highly recommend to car enthusiasts!

Beautiful experience, great to see history of Alfa Romeo. Unexpectedly beautiful architecture. Just a precaution if visiting the place via bus or train don't follow the route given on Google maps ask someone around the way to get there it's just a 15min walk.

(Translated by Google) Beautiful historical museum. Very well kept .. large rooms and with a guided tour retrace the steps of a car brand that accompanied our and our parents' movements.

The paradise for Alfistis. I am biased because I love every single Alfa but museum has a lot of models (commercial, sport and racing) and prototypes. Also has boats and planes' engines made by Alfa. Is modern with a lot of multimedia, a 4d movie and a nice video with the mainstream movies with Alfas.

We visited this museum with two classes (end of Sept 22) from Denmark. It was a very interesting visit. I enjoyed it, being interested in Alfa Romeo. Our guide, Brunata (I think) was very accommodating. Her English was impeccable. The restaurant was good. Some students were not interested in cars. The last thing we did was fun for all of the students. Maybe one could divide a group like that in those interested in cars and those who are not.

Very nice museum. Loads of cars are exposed from all ages, from the very first to some of the 2010's models. Also some competition cars from all kinds of motorsports. It's worth the ticket price if you're in the area! I visited on a very quiet day with kids - it took 90 minutes and even though they liked it they started to bored. You could really well spend 4 hours there!

Incredible place to visit. Really beautiful cars, which you never see in street nowadays. Some car and ship engines. No queue here, quiet and plenty of free space, it's not popular place for tourists. It's not to big if you don't have so much time (probably 4 flours), we spend about 40 min on museum and 20 min in caffé, one woman ordered almost all what there was in front of us, so we left with coffee and brioche, price is 2€ and 1.8€. For such low price taste is excellent except brioche which was nothing special (same you can buy at market, but price is fair) all other a little bit expensive. The prices in the souvenir shop tend to seem high, but you will pay more in Milano city center, (ex. magnet will cost you 4€ in museum and 5€ in city). Also they give you a ticket with different car on each. Plenty of free parking lots near museum.

Absolutely outstanding! If you like design you cannot miss it... Much more than a car's museum only! The location is great, the flow of the exhibition extremely well thought and the cars exhibited simply beautiful. Plus you can enjoy a 4D cinema which is quite s lot of fun. Strongly recommended

What to say? I am not and I never will be a fan of Alfa Romeo but, I will tell you something. In this museum you will feel emotions. You will may cry just by standing in front of the best expression of art and engineering skills of all the times, in Italy. I will never forget this visit as it made me feel alive. It has been an immense pleasure

I've been at museum Ferrari and Lamborghini but Alfa Romeo won everything. Cars are very well displayed and organized. You don't need to be a petrol head to really enjoy this place - It's like art museum. But if you are, make sure that you see Stradale33 from 1967. It's one from eighteen cars produced. True beauty.

Such an amazing museum if you are fan of the Alfa Romeo cars. You can see where it all began, old Alfa Romeo cars and we also walked in a car dealership (we thought it was part of the museum). In the museum shop you can buy some Alfa Romeo merchandise but I thought there would be more to buy (like miniature classic cars).

Very interesting museum. You will appreciate it, even if you’re not a car lover. Lots of history, beautiful cars, multiple floors. 4-D theater and cute shop. The cafe was serving burgers with Alfa Romeo logo on the bun!

Very neat museum if you are interested in learning more about the Alfa Romeo brand and its history. The museum is very clean and shows a broad range and variety of the cars that the brand has developed. It's good to spend between 1 and 2 hours here.

We had a good time with our kids. The museum is very well organized, and the kids enjoyed and learned a lot. The 4D movie at the end was an interesting experience, but it is not really suitable for the faint-hearted. There is a nice cafe shop, too, where you may recover from the long walk through the exhibition. Recommended!

For a car fan, I guess it can be amazing. When I was around there was even a current F1 driver present to sign autographs. There is an important amount of cars, some descriptions and video made the care more interesting as they had stories. The '4D video immersion' is the downside of the museum, it is feeling like a 2005 old game with bad graphics giving some headache and water splash. Sadly I will remember this more than some cars I've seen. I would recommend to any car fan, but skip the presentation.

Nice place but to hyped. I’ve been in couple car museums but this one was the worst from the all. I expect more than all we saw inside. There is lack of new models but also a lot of old ones are missing :( I won’t go back again. Also bus communication how to get there is a bad joke, if you don’t have car you have to put a lot of effort to get there.

Obviously the cars are the main attraction, but the museum is well designed and laid out in a way that there's always something interesting round the corner. Cars are displayed in context and there's lots of space to see them from every angle. The museum charts the history of Alfa Romeo so there's aero engines, marine engines, saloon, sports and racing cars as well as various concepts. We spent a good couple of hours there, all in.

Sehr lohnenswert.

If you are into classic cars and an Alfisti, this is the must-go-to place that you don't want to miss. The collection is very complete, with exhibition in the museum highlighting important parts of Alfa Romeo's history, yet displaying them all in individual spotlights. The Storage Room tour is an infinite addition to the visit, as you can see in-person, many pieces of the Alfa Romeo history, that one might have assumed that would be destroyed, if that's from another manufacturer. The cafe is a good place to have a stop, lunch or a coffee, with a nice view and some surprises of exhibits lying around. *Shout-out to Francesca, as the guided tour to the storage room collection is the best of the motor-valley journey, know the cars very well in the brand's historical background and details! Definitely top-notch quality, especially for a first-time English tour!

Very nice museum. Don't let the outside of the building fool you. Although it looks like it had its best time, the museum itself is one of the best I've ever seen! Great collection of the rich history of Alfa Romeo. Every Alfa Romeo fan or even a car lover in general should visit this place. When you're in the area, definiately visit this museum.

Beautifully laid out homage to Alfa's illustrious history. some very rare cars indeed. if you're a fan of Italian automotive history this is a must. 12 Euro entry fee and a good restaurant too.

Great museum. It doesn't matter if you're a fan of Alfa Romeo or not, it's a one of a kind experience for everyone. The explanations are in English / Italian, and they also have guides in several other languages. I would totally recommend this museum to anyone. The biggest problem of the museum is the access. It took us more than an hour from the city center with the bus/metro. Also prepare yourself for an overcrowded bus (because of a nearby shopping mall).

Recommended for both lovers of engines and not, perfectly maintained, complete with everything from historical models to the most recent up to the prototypes never released in circulation. The 4D cinema is also beautiful and fun, an immersive and fun atmosphere. Pay attention also to aircraft engines and to the story of Alfa told in a completely innovative way. (Translated by Google) The complex is located in an area where the production of cars ended in 2002, while that of engines in 2005, after which the industrial activity was discontinued. The museum, strongly supported by Giuseppe Luraghi [3], was inaugurated on 18 December 1976 by Gaetano Cortesi, at the time president and CEO (1974 - 1978) of Alfa Romeo. The museum project, together with that of the "Centro Direzionale", is designed by the architects Vito and Gustavo Latis. The museum is dedicated to the production of Alfa Romeo, which manufactured cars, commercial vehicles, locomotives, tractors, buses, trolley buses, marine engines and aircraft propulsion systems. It covers 4800 m2 [1], and its six floors [1] are divided into four thematic areas. Alfa Romeo owns 256 cars and 150 historic engines [2]. Until February 7, 2011, the collection then exhibited consisted of 118 models, 25 car engines and 15 aircraft engines [1], while today only 69 examples are shown to the public in relation to the historical events in which they were involved. The museum has at least one model of each car assembled by the Alfa house [2]. The museum's fleet includes production cars, racing models, prototypes and concept cars, and 60% of them are still functional [1]. Many of them are unique pieces [1]. Ample space is also dedicated to period photos and promotional posters that have been collected by the "Historical Documentation Center" of the house. Towards the end of 2013, under pressure from fans and thanks also to the interest of the president of the Lombardy Region Roberto Maroni [4], there were rumors of a possible reopening of the structure in 2014, a year before the Milan Expo. However, due to a dispute involving FIAT and the Ministry for Cultural Heritage, which fought to avoid the sale of some car models from the collection, the reopening to the public was delayed after the completion of works of modernization [5] [6], as at 30 June 2015 [7], a few days after the presentation (24 June 2015) of the new Alfa Romeo Giulia, with which the FCA Group has launched a program to relaunch the Alfa Romeo brand [ 8]. During 2020, the exhibition space will be enriched with a new section called "Alfa in Divisa" entirely dedicated to the Alfa Romeo cars which in the past were used by the police forces of the Italian state [9]. Currently, the structure is one of the assets placed under the protection of FCA Heritage, the department set up by FCA Italy for the dissemination and promotion of the historical, automotive and archival heritage of Italian brands [10].

(Translated by Google) Very nice museum. The exhibits can be viewed up close. My main interests are vehicles from the 50s, 60s and 70s. Since I got my money's worth. If you look at the Alfas from the 50s, for example, and then compare what was rolling on the streets with us back then, you understand where the passion for Alfa Romeo comes from.

Fantastic trip through the history of legendary Alfa Romeo cars. I was shocked by the innovativeness of the brand of its age, the beauty of stylistic design that is getting you on your knees. Even of you are not the fan of Alfa, after the visit you will be eager to have one of the cars from the exhibition. Really recommended while in Milano.

Great museum, a lot of exhibits, everything in excellent condition. Everything is described (not common thing in Italy). Old racing cars have own stylized room, with proper sound and lighting. One of the best things I have seen in Italy, although not comparable to ancient Romans :) Perfect way of doing museum.

  • 5/5 Abigail L. 2 years ago on Google
Great museum focused on so many aspects of Alfa without being a memorial to just one person. Big surprise: racing boats and airplanes! Beautiful historical films including one with all the famous movie stars in their films driving Alfas.

Super exhibition and great variety of cars. If you own an Alfa Romeo you must visit this place once at least. If you want to go by public transport I recommend the shuttle to Il Centro for 5€ return.

Interesting telling of the history of this great marque with many cars on show. The display boards can be a little thin on detail

  • 4/5 Paulo S. 2 years ago on Google
Really nice display of the Alfa Romeo history. However Alfa Romeo has more history in sport. This area is a little poor (for me). But really enjoyable. Takes 1.5 h to 2 hours to make the tour.

  • 4/5 Ricki D. 1 year ago on Google
Amazing collection of cars here showing all the models throughout the history of Alfa Romeo. The shop has a good collection and the restaurant and cafe price is reasonable. Shame the showroom only had three cars and the new Tonale wasn't there. *The route from the bus stop/shopping centre is not as easy as you expect-crossing a big round about and the pavement is non existent. Plus make sure you pay for bus ticket before getting on the bus via an app!

If you like cars it's a must for you, if you don't you won't regret visiting it. The end of the exhibition at the cafeteria you can drink delicious coffees. 10/10 experience

Great experience with my 12yr old son, going through Alfa Romeo history, lots and lots of models including concept cars, racing cars and all Alfa Romeo models over the years. The 4d movies in the theater is nice but a bit old. We missed an option to sit in a racing car to take pictures I think that could be a nice addition to the museum. Overall worth the money and time spent

  • 4/5 Reid L. 1 year ago on Google
I love the history and racing prowess of Alfa, the museum could of had a bit more to offer though. It was not too busy which was nice but also meant the cinema didn't have enough people to show the video. I was hoping for a bigger gift shop to get gifts for friends. Overall there were extremely cool cars but would have been nice to see some modern classics like the Giulia GTA.

  • 4/5 Turbine E. 9 months ago on Google
Museum is fantastic. A lot of astonishing cars and other items. They are well exposed. Worth the price. Nice official store inside. Bad things: Not quite professional service in the museum cafe. Transport: Good by car. But if You arrive by city communication (buses) watch out for (unmarked) controls! It is Italy, you can't buy tickets for local buses anywhere, (Milan tickets are not valid) but of course controllers prey on tourists and give mandates. Yours economy is based on tourism, so think about it better.

If you are in or around Milan, this museum is a "must see." The museum very complete with artifacts and vehicles spanning the entire history of Alfa Romeo. Easy to get to, with plenty of parking. It also has a very large cafeteria at the very end of the tour..

  • 5/5 Stan R. 9 months ago on Google
Great museum. The staff was kind and the atmosphere awesome full of emotion and history. The price was fair for the tickets and for the gift shop. I highly recommend visiting it, but the public transport is a pain. If you came from the rail station it s difficult to buy bus tickets. I recommend coming buy car if you can, or the bus that comes form Milano central station to the “Centro commerciale II Centro” (near the museum) and back. Google maps shows it, but not the route it takes. Can buy tickets form the bus driver.

  • 5/5 Rolf H. 1 year ago on Google
Very nice collection of mainly old cars. These are mostly concept cars, but you can feel the vibes ;-) Can be visited with a baby cart without problems. The visit takes about an hour if you walk slowly and watch erverything. There is also a café at the end.

I loved this museum! It is well worth going to see it. The experience in which they surround you from the moment you arrive until you finish the tour is great, they really surround you with the brand, its history, its cars, they have a 3D movie theater (I recommend a more real movie experience), everything is impeccable!!! clean, the staff is very friendly. I would just like to highlight two points that have a lot of opportunities for growth or improvement: 1. You should have precise instructions on how to get to this museum by public transport. I am a tourist, I went alone, by public transport and it was a very difficult journey to get there. Really, I almost gave up but I managed and finally I can do it. 2. You involve us so much in the brand, that in the end of the tour, is very disappointing when you arrive at the cafeteria. I suggest that in the cafeteria you can continue with the experience that have in the museum. The sandwich that they give does have the logo, but it is cold, without a joke and it is expensive. You could give hamburger with potatoes and everything with the brand. Continue involving the user with the brand and the experience. When I was there, my mind had many ideas for all that without having to be so expensive, that it could be really cool and everyone would stay and eat there. More Profit for you.

I have visited both Ferrari museums, Lamborghini museum, Ducati museum and Pagani museum in last two days. Alfa-Romeo museum is the most impressive! Would have also visited the other Alfa Romeo museum but even thou they were there, they didn't let me in. Only on Sundays. Ferrari factory tour was disappointment. Lamborghini factory was great! Ducati tour was also good. Pagani had a tour but needs to book in advance. Should have more tours! Cars are really work of art, but it was the only place that really let me down. Should understand that anyone visiting Pagani is quite enthusiastic about cars.

Wonderful museum for Alfisti and car lovers alike. The building alsmost looks like an ordinary office at the outside but very well designed on the inside. Almost al cars can be seen from very up close. Visit the Alfa Romeo Caffè for an espresso after your tour and check out the shop! When you’re not in Milan with your own car, I recommend taking the dedicated shuttle bus from Milan Central to the Il Centro mall so you can combine both visits on the go (€5,- per person for a return ticket).

Nice museum with a lot of cars from historical ones to new ones. Great atmosphere in one room with audio effect. The merch shop is tiny one, But there are possibilities to buy some stuff. We enjoyed it. Count Around 50-60 minutes being there.

The only reason I’m not giving this 5/5 is because it’s not an easy place to get to. We didn’t take a car, so it was difficult to get to by trains and buses. But once we did it was great. Was there right before the Monza Formula 1 Grand Prix, so was able to see the special livery F1 car too. Also value for money was amazing. 12 euro tickets was very cheap compared to similar museums. Definitely recommend, but take a car 🤪

This is a worthy Museum for the price and it is a better experience than Ferrari Museum, 100%!! I was hoping more interactivity and more storytelling and quirky cars as it felt more like a showroom at times.

Amazing museum situated at the old factory. Curated with care. It's a shame there are no interactive experiences but it's still a cool place to be. Worth the visit.

Extraordinary museum, I was completely stunned by all the models they have there, from the first Alfa Romeo car ever made to brand new exhibits. Highly recommend, it is a place you don't want to miss. Also be sure to have enough time at your disposal, I wish I had at least 5 hours to admire everything and read every piece of information.

Super museum, must visit for car enthusiasts and casual fans. Visited with 2 young kids, and they loved it! Very spacious, divided into different levels and different themes, 100+ cars from early models to prototypes to supercars to regular modern ones. There's also a nice cafe/lunch place onsite, and a well stocked souvenirs shop.
