Wanted a local pizzeria instead of a chain and can say I definitely found one. The pizza is delicious! I've ordered thin and thick crust and they were cooked beautifully. The employees are always so polite as well.

The way I found out about this place was honestly the Dave Portnoy review… lol. I saw the video and it looked so good that the next day I put in an order for pickup. I ordered a large thin crust with half cheese and half sausage, green peppers, and onion. The pizza was amazing, the cheese was amazing and a classic and the sausage pepper and onion pizza was as well. The cheese is very good and the sauce has a very good flavor to it. Crust is amazing as well. They also do a very good job of loading the toppings on there. Honestly probably best pizza I’ve had. The guys working there were all very nice and it was a very good “customer” experience. When you leave a tip the worker goes “guys we got a tip” and all the guys in the back go “thank you!” So that is cool to see as well. It is delivery or pick up only but they have a dine in location in Huntley I look forward to trying soon. Great place and will definitely be a return customer!

Super excited to have found this place! Everyone is so nice, with great personalities. We ordered the 18” thin crust pepperoni and I would have to say it is my favorite pizza by far! Plenty for the family and they all really enjoyed pizza night! Thanks guys we will definitely be back! Only regret is not finding Sal’s sooner!

We’ve ordered from here multiple times & it never disappoints. The pizzas are always amazing & filled with flavor. They don’t skip out on the ingredients either, love it! I would definitely recommend to give it a go.

I am sad to say that this fine establishment has lost my business. We have enjoyed ordering specialty pizzas from there many times. Our neighbors have also enjoyed ordering the same one that I have designed with spaghetti sauce as the base. It is delicious! But the manager Edgar says"we just can't do that". I asked why are you out? He says"no,we just don't do that". Perhaps he hasn't been there when I or my neighbors have ordered it that way. It's a shame. Maybe some of you readers should try your luck with Edgar. It's a good pizza but I'm done now. Apparently the customer is not always right.

Loyal customers love this pizza consistently made with love. Family has had many times the garbage pizza. I switch black olives for green olives and added bacon. This pizza is so good. The crust is always perfect. The ingredients are fresh and evenly distributed. Cream cheese jalapeño poppers were good. Inferno wings are so good beware, very hot.

Best pizza anywhere around. They don't go cheap on the toppings. Always perfectly cooked and best priced! Medium thin crust feeds three adults no problem. Trust me, try it.

Our family L.O.V.E.S Sals but haven't been a customer due to lack of customer service to their loyal customers. We have been loyal fans of Sals for the past 5 years, ever since we moved to the area. We haven't been back because of the lack of customer service they provide. I understand they can get extremely busy which I why I never minded when I was placed on hold. My disappointment with this establishment comes from their lack of courtesy. I've called Sals and the line seems to be disconnected and it takes multiple times to get through. When I manage to get through "sals pizza please hold"................even been on hold for up to ten plus minutes, we love the pizza that much, just to get hung up on. I have to go through the process all over again. This has happened on multiple occasions. Thinking this was just an off day for them but nope, has happened more than 2,3,4 times. Sorry, not sorry Sals.

Best pizza in Algonquin, The ribs are awesome, just wish they would do a Rib dinner instead of ordering everything separate. Also a Alfredo chicken fettuccine would be great on the menu.

1st time trying this pizza spot and will definately be back. Ordered an 18 inch with sausage,pepperoni and bacon and it was everything we wanted. Wings were really good too! Hidden gem for sure.

We have been ordering from Sals for at least 15 years. Ordered their stuffed pizza yesterday for the first time. Wow! Best stuffed pizza ever. Ital beef, chicken, wings, etc is always awesome and we have never had our order messed up! Favorite local food!

This used to be a decent place for pizza until they decided to go totally maskless during the COVID pandemic . None of the cooks, cashiers or anyone had masks and were within inches of food and others .One sneeze and the pizza may as well be called Covid contagion. There are so many other pizza places that follow guidelines rush there is no reason to visit one that doesn’t care about your health.

You should be ashamed to be serving the community. I couldn't have predicted that there'd be a restaurant with NOT A SINGLE EMPLOYEE WEARING A MASK in this time of COVID-19. I'm not even talking about improper mask wearing. 10 out of 10 employees, working in the kitchen had not a bit of PPE. Besides plexiglass at the register (which I guess keeps the virus contained to the kitchen and OUR FOOD) there wasn't a bit of thought to customer safety. Sadly if I'd ordered delivery, I'd never have known. Good thing my first (and now only cancelled order) was pick-up so I could have seen the horror myself. The pizza may be great, the reputation may be strong, but it's not worth getting sick over.

10 minutes from my home took almost 2 hours for 2 simple pizza's, and btw thank you for the cold pizza, no I would never send it back we all know what happens when you return food!!!!! Think driver got lost 10 minutes away to be serving a dam cold pizza!!! Yes very disappointed since we order from here all the time, guess this was a reason to move onto another pizza place!!!!

One of the best pizzas I ever had. I've tried their dinners as well, spaghetti, pizza bread, ect. Nothing has disappointed me and their apps are fantastic as well. When we went ,our waitress was kind and attentive. The atmosphere is of an old pizza parlor with a small bar inside. I'll definitely be back!

I have been ordering pizza from this location for more than 2 years. I only mentioned that my address is in L.I.T.H not in Algonquin and now, he said they don't deliver in lith. I have never had a problem before until this guy showed up. I only requested to update the town so, it will be easier for the delivery person. This is the only pizza place I liked, now to find another place.

Living in Chicago most of my life, and being A master pizza chef wood burning oven, just moved in the Algonquin area called Sal"s for pizza 97 dollars for 3 pizza, a little steep for my pocket, quality money ratio just wasn't there. Sorry Sal ...

Best Pizza around, they never disappoint! I wish they could open one in Crystal Lake. We live about 20 minutes from the Algonquin one, but the Pizza closer to us doesn’t compare to Sals.

I grew up in an Italian neighborhood and have been searching for great pizza since I moved to this area. The Sal's sausage pizza is absolutely fantastic. Sal's is my favorite!

I went in for a pick up order from Crystal Lake and discovered my order was made incorrectly. Patrick, offered to remake the pie and personally deliver to me. Was at my house within 30 minutes! Not only is Sals the best pizza around but the customer service is top notch! Thank you Patrick!

I can’t get over how good this pizza was! I ordered the Hawaiian and added bacon and jalapeños. DROOL. The gentleman who took my delivery order was really helpful and friendly. He suggested the pizza sauce base and gave some appetizer recommendations for next time! He said delivery would be 45-60 minutes and the driver got here in 45! I highly recommend this pizzeria, and I can’t wait to order again!

Sals is absolutely amazing! I’ve been getting pizza here since as long as I can recall living in here in Algonquin. I can quite honestly say that anyone you ask will recommend sals as the go-to pizza place, and I couldn’t agree more. Nothing ever tastes bland or like it’s been frozen and warmed up, sals always makes the pizza right in front of you to see and it’s always top quality, fresh, hot pizza. Sals is the way to go!!

I moved to algonquin last year from Elmhurst. We have alwaysed preferred local pizza places and we're very happy my neighbor recommended sals pizza good pizza all the time. I would just recommend the thin pizza just to be a little more thiner but besides that we love it.

This is the best pizza in the Algonquin area real pricey but we worth the price!

We ordered a small deep dish pizza with onions. When we ate the pizza, the tomato sauce tasted like it came out of a can. Not much cheese on top, and a lot of dough. Very disappointed, as we paid around $23.00 for a pizza that I would rate a "zero!" Don't waste your time with Sal's. Even Pizza Hut tastes better than Sal's, so what does that tell you?

First time visiting and picking up pizza at this location. Pretty far from where we live but thought we'd give it a try. We ordered the Garbage pizza, thin crust. It has all the ingredients I love. We liked it. Do we go back and order from them again? Maybe if we're around the area. From where we live, we've 2 Rosati's to order from. Sal's pizza is comparable to Rosati's. I can order from either Rosati's instead of driving farther to Sal's. Lots of people like Sal's. Can't argue with them. Pizza is good. Keep doing what you're doing, Sal's crew! You've good pizza!

Bigg shares of ingredients, but the sauce is trash

New to Cary and we're very close to the Algonquin area. Been trying very hard to find an exceptional pizza and we found it! Not going to lie, the price is a little higher than what we're used to, but doesn't affect the rating at all. Pizza was amazing! Cooked exactly how we asked - I like ours a little more well done. The toppings were fresh and delicious!

Wow, i ate it too fast to even take a pic. We had been disappointed with our regular joint the last few months and came here on the rec of a friend. Only wish I had found it sooner, but we now have a new regular spot!

Been eating at Sal's Pizza Company for years. It's always so fresh out the oven that you have to let it cool for five minutes after you get it to the house. Pizza is great, never had a bad flavor combination, and it's extremely greasy. Not a health food but we love it. Algonquin's best

Sals is our go to pizza! The pizza, curly fries and the crust is always a hit in our house! Today we ordered and we were told about an hour, no biggie and I swear they had delivered within 30 minutes! We have ordered from both locations and love ordering from them both

I just need to give a shout out to our favorite pizza place. It’s the best pizza in town! Been going since they opened we order at least 3x a month. Wonderful family owned business that provides jobs for all the kids even my son when he was in high school. Again the best pizza we’ve done pizza challenges and they’ve always won in our house hands down. Today was a long day of snow and I ordered for the family thought I ordered an extra cheese but exhausted I must have forgot within 20 min they had one at our door. Such amazing service thank you for all you guys do.

The pizza is great but fries are way to salty! Couldn’t even eat them! They did replace them within 10 mins. Ask for no salt and add you own👌🏼

You have been a 10 star ever since We started coming here. Our orders would consist of two large pizzas and 20 poppers. This became a family favorite in my large family we started passing the word along best poppers in town. But sadly to say a few weeks back when we placed an order I knew the poppers had changed. Tonight I placed an order and it’s confirmed the poppers have changed your business is amazing because you have consistency. When you have something good you should never change it. Please never change your ingredients on your amazing pizza we love it but please bring back your poppers?

First and last time ordering from this pizzeria, the pizza we ordered had so many ingredients on it that the dough could not finish baking, which made me my sister and my brother in law extremely sick which completely ruined out saturday.

Had a VERY good thin crust Mediterranian Pizza and was pie cut that I requested because the square cut round pies are just wrong!!! LOL....The only thing did not like was the spinach because I think it was canned or frozen. Fresh spinach woulda been better n I woulda given it 5 stars! If you used fresh basil and parsley too, I think it would make all the pizzas better, but still very good pizza! Bravo! Ciao.
