Absolutely love the beach, the walk along the coastline is fantastic, beach and the whole shoreline walk from the train station to golf course is free from litter very well kept ,I walk it almost every day to the golf course. The seapark has public toilets which are cleaned everyday. There is also a snack van selling teas coffes and food .

Wonderful day out for my 3 year old grandson from start to finish. First of all we went to the Sea Park Play Area where he had an absolute ball and completely ran riot lol. Then we put his wet suit on and took him down to the beach where, once again, he completely ran riot lol. Next it was up to the ice cream van and back to the park again. It was hard to coax him to leave in the end. We also bought coffee from the little coffee van and it was absolutely gorgeous. The ice cream van sold everything from candy floss to frisbies. My only concern the whole day was finding a broken bottle on the beach where some idiot has had a beach BBQ and forgot to life their rubbish. Note to BBQ idiot... Burying broken bottles is not acceptable and could have caused injury to child or pet. Plenty of bins available at the beach for rubbish!!! All in all a great day out!!!

Old or Young this is a great location for just sitting in the car and watching the activity, planes coming into Belfast City or/and boats going up Belfast Lough. Activity Park for the kids. Great shore path that’s goes all the way to Bangor. Public toilets and a Coffee/Snack serving up good snacks. Marino Railway Stop a few minutes walk away.

Been going here from we were kids! Lovely location for a nice chilled out walk along the beach. Our dog loves it too! 😁 There's public toilets, benches for resting and plenty of grass and beach areas to have fun! There's also a kids play park and an ice cream/coffee van that serves the best coffee's and Kinder Bueno milkshakes! πŸ˜‹

Beautiful grassed area beside a sandy beach on Belfast Lough. It's got a children's play area, carpark, a coffee van and ice-cream van. The North Down Coastal Path passes through it. It's the ideal spot for a family day out, not far from Holywood and Marino train station.

Lovely stretch of coastline along Belfast Lough just outside Holywood. Great area for a leisurely walk with great views of the hills on the other side listening to the waves hitting the shore. At the start of the walk there is a great children's play park and grass areas with extensive beach for the kids to play on.

Most of the kid's playground equipment is currently fenced off and not available.

This place had Limited parking but has lovely sea views - and a kids play area. A mobile coffee vendor is often parked up here - the lady is super friendly and the coffee is lovely. Just a pity irresponsible dog owners allow their animals to foul the walkway. It isn’t difficult- PICK IT UP it’s part and parcel of having a pet.

Great when the tide is out you can walk along the strand. Can get very busy. Ice cream van and coffee van are there on most sunny days. Good kiddies play park. Sometimes dog poo and litter is a bit of an issue.

Lovely wide promenade right beside the sea. Park the car here and you can walk into Holywood. It's a good stretch of the legs but there are plenty of watering holes in the town to rest and recover for your walk back ! On a lovely sunny day you can't beat it.

This must be the closest beach if you are in Belfast. You can reach it both by car and by train. You can see the Belfast bay, the port. You can walk east to Cultra, not too far. There is a great playground.

A lovely place to go for walks or to relax. Great views. Particularly in the nice weather. There's plenty of paths to use, the best of which goes close to the beach and along the shoreline. Parking is suitable and free. But can get busy on good days. Accessible spaces are present, but few. The area is mostly wheelchair accessible, with a few short inclines. Shoreline path can get quite sandy.

One of my Favourite places of all time and my youngest dogs absolute favourite. She loves to meet up with other dogs for a good chase round the grass. Generally speaking most people are friendly, everyone I see picks up after their dogs although I do notice quite a bit of dog mess which is disappointing.
