This is the coolest hole in the wall eatery I have ever been at. They have everything, even if you don't eat meat or have some dietary requirement. They have vegan and gluten free options. Their selection is very diverse. From their menu to their big cooler full of soda. There isn't a single thing on their menu that is not bad. They have specials that rotate every day. This place cannot be understated. It is awesome.

Walked in while waiting on a friend to show. Owner game the the whole spiel. Super nice. Actually more than nice. Not from town. Offered to cook some stuff out of the case I was intrigued by. Food off of the menu was amazing. Everybody loved it. My new favorite place.

This is truly an absolute gem in the city. If you want great sausage and a really amazing breakfast or lunch, this is your place. This is entirely Chef driven, super hyperlocal. A bucket list hole-in-the-wall for sure!

WOW! I had the bacon sausage with gravy and an egg over easy! Get the hot sauce on the side because it is hot! Excellent original restaurant. Looking forward to trying some of the wieners at home. Bought some bierocks to take home. My Wife had the classic dog and a salad. Very good. Oh my goodness the bierocks were fantastic . They even wrote the recommended cooking instructions on the package they turned out fantastic.

My family drives 45 minutes each way to eat these amazing dogs! High quality meat, buns and extras put this restaurant/deli over the top. The owner is very friendly and approachable. The establishment is clean and well kept. They sell fun stuff like coozies, kitchen accessories and clothing. Plus, we take home the bierocks to heat up later as a snack/breakfast.

EXTREMELY flavorful hot dogs. These dogs are gourmet! Even the ketchup is from scratch! They have a surprising selection of soda. Don't just come here for the dogs, though! They have a wide variety of other meats- all equally as gourmet as the dogs. You want to impress people at your cookout? Get your meat here. They have wagyu burgers! You won't be disappointed.

Truly amazing food. I had literally waited for years to eat this restaurants food and was not disappointed one bit. The owners are down to Earth, wonderful people that take immense pride in not only what they serve, they also buy local and support local businesses. Great vibe inside (you should check out their shirts, hilarious), open kitchen, and cool people that are happy to serve you. You won't be disappointed!

What a fantastic place to dine!! The food was fresh and delicious! The owners were friendly and professional! We ended up taking home some bierocks and beef jerky. We will definitely be back to try other menu items 😋

If you are like me and keep saying "I wish there were more family run restaurants that made homemade food", then this is the place you MUST try. They have special dogs every day as well as standards you can always count on finding. Their dogs are hand made and hand twisted, with an approximate weight of 1/3 pound. I got the special for today which was a dog made with Pastrami and Swiss and topped with an amazing kraut. The dog overlaps the lager than typical bun and tastes absolutely amazing. They also have a great selection of beverage choices rather than just your standard coke or Pepsi. Truly a family restaurant with mom and pop working in the kitchen and their daughter working at the front counter. They are all super friendly. I can't wait to go back here and try some more of what they are making. Sorry I don't have a picture, the dog was so good I ate it all before I thought to take a picture.

We’ve been here a few times now & absolutely everything we have tried has been amazing & one of a kind. Owner is very personable & makes you feel right at home. This is a small business that supports a LOT of other small business. So glad to have them in the neighborhood!

We finally made it to @wienerkitchen and it was so good. I had the Chili Cheese Dog and my wife had the Blackhawk. We both gave our dog a solid 7 out of 10. She also had the Split Pea soup and it was not very thick but had good flavor..4 out of 10. Overall, we need to come back and try other items on the menu. There was so much to choose from and we couldn't take everything off the menu.

Wonderful food and incredibly nice staff. I order the Chorizo Rojo for dine in, and bierocks to take home. Both were very tasty. I will absolutely be returning more often to try other menu items. For those that do not know, they also have a fridge and freezer to order raw items to cook at home.

This is the place for dogs!! Outstanding flavor profiles. Fabulous atmosphere and service. We have put this place in our rotation of eateries. The staff is so good with flavor descriptions and recommendations. Try the chicken apple sausage dog and cheddar jalapeno sausage dog..a real treat guaranteed!

Nice variety of sausage centric dishes in a variety of styles. Chili dog was amazing. The price was great given the portion...this is the first overland park restaurant I've eaten at where I felt I received a good deal.

I just went there today because my son wanted to. They are so in love with themselves that you really can't get any basics if you want some. So they only cater to the foo foo crowd and that alienates their base customer from coming in when they are with a more conservative eater. The woman who came up to the counter seemed disengaged to me and I chose a classic because everything else is foo foo and it was the worst tasting hot dog I have ever had. Thank god for mustard or I would have left the entire hot dog on the table. It certainly isn't for me but I do know that no matter how foo foo you want a business to be or how much you might think you are a great chef and your recipes are perfect, you need basics. All I wanted was a traditional chili dog and they had to foo foo that up as well. I wasn't going to waste my time asking if I could get any basic chili because the lady did not seem approachable.

Today was my first time in this establishment. I had their chili dog and it was so good. I'll be back!!

Smaller lunch spot but once you come across it you're more than likely a fan that will be back. The big surprise for me was the burgers, brats, steaks, and other meats you can take home and cook. I use to shop at hyvee for the best meats to tailgate with come Arrowhead Sunday but now I have a new source for my tailgating meats. Highly recommend you check this place out!!!!

I love the concept and was excited to try this place. The variety of sausages & brats is impressive and they have some interesting combinations of toppings and bread/buns to go with them. Unfortunately I was underwhelmed with the two dogs that we had: the queso chorizo sausage and a chili cheese dog. They looked great and the former (chorizo) was spicy but otherwise didn't have as much flavor as I'd hoped. The latter (chili dog) was better but the dog itself was a bit puny (long but thin). The ambiance was decent for what it is--a tiny but clean strip mall joint--and service was quick, but the cashier probably wasn't hired for her personality. I may go back, but would likely try other menu options.

The rumors are true; an absolutely must try dining spot in the area. This is a fantastic experience and the best local brats and sausages I've been able to find. Today I had the Chorizo Rojo, wow. Fresh ingredients and homemade sausage tied this together perfectly. PS Check out their Beirocks and steaks in the cooler. Phenomenal job to the owner and staff.

Busy place but just not my taste. I enjoy a basic German brat and this one just had too many other things in it. My wife’s chili dog the same. But obviously by the traffic, others love it.

Nice selection of wieners and wurst, friendly owner. Small dining area. Only serves breakfast until 10. There are no combos that I can see, one must order any sides or drinks separately.

Found this place while visiting my brother, and we LOVED it! We came back the next day! Their daily specials were delicious, their buns are amazing and the chorizo black bean chili is the best chili I’ve ever had!!! Sad we found this place so late in our visit, can’t wait to come back!!!!

There used to be a place in Chicago called Hot Doug’s - they sold sausages and such. This place totally reminds me of Hot Doug’s. Awesome food (got the Linguica 👌), friendly and helpful owners that have pride in their product and store, and high quality and terrific selection and creativity. A true gem in KC area! Go there and take home a bunch of sausage and grill it up - you will not be sorry - or eat in and enjoy it right away. We will be back and spread the word 🙌🤘.

Love this local restaurant. Their food is definitely one of the best around and that counts for food quality, time, cleanliness and staff friendliness. Have come here multiple times and will be coming back many more. Amazing place ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
