They use to be amazing, great doctors still a few great doctors, now the clinic has become money hungry no concession bulk billing, so single mums/dads pensioners are all stuffed if we're sick and no money. Thanks medi one you've made life difficult for a lot of people struggling. Disappointing that money comes before health. Tried to make an appointment with the Dr for my son who's one, but new reception staff wouldn't help out . The reception staff keep changing, and can be quite rude.

I used to think highly of this doctors clinic but now changed it's under new management and most of the staff have left and it's seem that they pick and choose who needed to pay . They do have bulk billing but as I said they pick the people who can receive bulk bill to add to that I needed to see one of the other dr's that I seen before but was told if I hadn't seen him regularly that are no longer would be able too ridiculous why on their website when you book an appointment have all different doctors you can choose to go to go and see. And don't get me started on the negligence that's one of the doctors have caused every family member has ended up in hospital because of the dr's doing or not doing should I say. Now it's only about the money. Also called to make a appointment got hug up on 3 times and tried to call back it take me 9 times before they answered but had to read on one of their numbers.

The receptionist was lovely but the doctor was horrible. Now I have seen other people’s review and I understand why the rating is so low. Please please only go to this medical center when other GP clinics are closed. I never left negative comments on Google and this is the first and only time. I was so utterly disapppinted by the doctor we have seen. She actually told my child, “move faster! I have a lot of patients to see today!” It’s a Saturday afternoon and she was charging higher fee to see patients. The dosage she prescribed for my child was wrong. It was picked up by a pharmacist who questioned the dose and then later the following week it was fixed by another GP. Dear Medical One, can you please work with doctors who actually care about their patients and not just money-grabbing?

I am not sure this medical centre deserves that 1 star. First of all, the point of contact was negative. Whoever that receptionist is, if you do not have an ounce of patience and empathy then change career. Your exasperation and lack of tact is felt even through the phone. Does not make me want to show up for my consultation. 2nd the doctor told me that she would call me to give me the results of a test that I had to undergo. Waited for 2 days no call from her. I had to have another paid telephone consultation with another doctor just to get my results! I wonder if the hippocratic oath means something to some who chose to become a doctor!

My husband and I have been there many times, but when I booked an online appt for my husband last week, they called back my husband and told him he can't be seen because as he's a new patient. What???? When I tried to call several times, nobody answered the phone. They obviously don't give a hoot about their patients, especially in my husband's case where he needed to see someone. Also, the receptionists there are very cold and indifferent. We will be going elsewhere from now on at a new Clinic in Highett.

Absolutely avoid at all costs. Sense of care as well as duty of care doesn't exist here. The only doctor's that did there job properly was Dr Stewart and the male doctor with the name starting with a v. The female Dr Master and Sharmn should find a new job. My needs were not meet at all. Reception gave me the wrong information and then charged me wrong. When they called back after when I said it's more than usual at the start, the same receptionist said I should of said I had a hcc. THATS YOUR JOB SWEETHEART. Then the information I requested and was told I would receive after the consultation came the next day. They told another party the wrong information. I rather ask my cat next time.. Plus the price they are charging is extremely overpriced. Across the road, Everwell medical. I can't speak highly enough of the care and reception. Million miles apart. Please avoid here at all costs. I have had quite a few bad experiences with this place.

Awful place. I made an 'appointment' for a covid-19 shot, only to wait half an hour till I made such a nuisance of myself they finally found me a nurse. She was hanging around with a very frazzled-looking doctor having a hot drink in what seemed to be a storeroom but in fact was the 'consulting suite'. The actual jab then took about two minutes all up. The receptionists were glum-looking individuals who avoided eye contact throughout. Definitely not the place to go if you're feeling unwell.

Saw Dr who was extremely rude, non communicative and dismissive. Obviously wanted us in and out. Didn't explain what was wrong, just gave antibiotics. Really disappointed today, have seen some good doctors there before but will look for new clinic.

Wouldn't recommend, the old gp I sore was not helpful. I understood his point but I felt more attacked then cared for. Instead of trying to assist with a solution he just fobbed me off thrown in the to hard basket where he could of just left a comment on the certificate. He has no people skills and hardly registered me from the point of calling my name out. I don't understand why he chose to be so abarives and un helpful. Spent most of the appointment lecturing me on what I should of done. Once he threw the certificate at me for today you could tell he was done with me. I just got up and left. No sorry or decent people skills what so ever. He has left me in a tricky situation with me employment which make me further uncomfortable already on top of not being well and I had to pay for bring treated that way. Go somewhere else

Got escorted out because a Dr thought I had covid, when in fact I had several tests proving I didn't have covid but tonsillitis. I left work early to get medical attention but recieved none,they don't have any doctors outh, I was so embarrassed, They mess up my misses scripts continuously, The new receptionists are so unexpierienced and should have empathy. I will be taking this further. You don't even deserve a one out of five.

Dr Maclean is a fabulous Doctor..knows his stuff and is very well regarded professionally. He's always booked out, he's that good and popular. He's always looked after my self very very well. Couldn't ask for a better Doctor and practice!

Absolutely avoid at all costs. Reception are horrendous and Dr Niv Sharma has no clue. I had to provide her information from the Department of Health as she wasn’t aware of current information. HUGE RED FLAG for a “Doctor”. I suggest she finds a new profession. If there was an option to give 0 stars I would. Then the information I requested and was told I would receive after the consultation has still not been done. Reception then LIED to me and told me it had been done in order to get payment for my appointment. Once I called them a week later to find out what was going on, they then told me to pay for another appointment! LOL I’ve submitted a complaint/claim with the Health Commissioner, to investigate doctor and practise. Apparently I’m not the only one to have complaints about this clinic. I’d be surprised if they’re still in business in a year.

Booked an appointment with Medical One and received a text 24 hours prior confirming the appointment. I attended the centre at the appropriate day and time only to be told my doctor didn't work on that day of the week. When I explained the centre had sent me a reminder the day prior, the reception staff told me to sort it out with the doctor. The booking of appointments is the responsibility of the reception team. After a few phone call to the reception team they admitted they had booked the appointment with the wrong doctor. My tip - don't waste your time dealing with Medical One Moorabbin, they are highly incompetent and impersonal. They deserve zero stars.

Really disappointed with this practice. My daughter and I have been patients for over 15 years and was told only when rang to make an appointment that they no longer bulk bill adults or children! The fact that we received no letter or any notification to advise us of this is simply just poor from medical one’s behalf! I don’t think this practice has at all considered each patients situation and has only thought about there financial well-being! Absolutely hurt by the lack of support given!

I agree with the other comment. Very rude and wanted to charge me more because the dr doned on full ppe and made the consult longer. Had 5 rat tests in a row all negative and dr reckons he doesn't trust them. Then if that is the case "doctor" you should be wearing full PPE at all times.

I am absolutely outraged to find that the practice is now charging pensioners $70 after most pensioners are paid they don't have that amount of money for a Dr . I find it disgusting the medical practice is more concerned about money than people's health and well-being, to add the managing receptionist was also very rude when I was enquiring about if it was a bulk billing practice, she told me "go and find another doctors, we need to pay our rent"

I have been discriminated against due to my mental health diagnoses at this clinic. I have BRCA2 (70% breast cancer rate and 45% ovarian cancer rate), PTSD and an eating disorder. I’m also facing surgeries for a double mastectomy and reconstruction. A suspicious mass in my ovaries was detected during an ultrasound I insisted upon. Dr Sharma called me to tell me and the way she treated me broke my heart. She advised me to take a wait and see approach. However, I saw the oncologist and a week later I had my ovaries removed. Dr Sharma disrespected me, spoke over me and said “I fit you in as an extra patient”. She repeated this three times when I tried to talk about my concerns about having cancer. She had a total lack of compassion and poor bedside manner, especially considering the fact that she lists mental health as one of her medical interests on the clinic’s website. There were multiple instances of mistreatment and incompetence, the GPs come and go and the reception staff lack compassion. The doctors I saw at the clinic repeatedly dismissed many of my physical health concerns due to my mental health diagnoses. I’m still seeking treatment with other clinicians to resolve my physical health issues. If you care about your physical and mental health, stay away from this clinic.

I would like to say that Dr yazdian has been my family gp ever since he started at medical one moorabin and he deserves more then 5 stars. He has helped me and my family dramatically and especially during the pandemic. I would also like to say that voula and the reception have done a great job trying to fit us in with bookings considering the clinic is so buisy. Thank you

Completely disrespectful and not understanding

I've been a patient for 20 years. Dr Maclean is our doctor and is spot on with his consults. Fantastic GP. When in today for an injection, I was disappointed by the amount of ppl wandering in/out and around either Not wearing masks or with them under chins or under their nose - staff included! Yes some ppl can't wear them for medical reasons but when ppl walk in with them in their hands and then sit without putting them on, well that's not acceptable. Notices are clearly displayed everywhere for a reason. Not a good look Medical One.

Awful. Rude receptionist and a Dr who just wanted me gone despite leaving me waiting for 45 mins with an empty waiting room. 3 minute consult to be told to keep taking Panadol, $103.

Terribly rude reception/admin staff both in clinic and over the phone. I was made to feel quite unwelcome and as if I needed to explain myself before checking in. The nurse that I saw was lovely and efficient, couldn't fault her at all. I won't be making this my regular clinic after this experience.

Medical one Moorabbin is the best medical centre in Melbourne. They treated my parents very well & my father was always very happy with the service he received. Dr Ian MacLean is the best doctor & made my parents feel at ease & helped them with all of their health issues. I cannot speak highly enough of Dr MacLean & medical one Moorabbin. I appreciate how they go above & beyond every time to ensure each patient is taken care of.

Medical one is great. The receptionists are lovely and helpful. It’s a clean facility and has a few specialist services on site. All the doctors here are great but a special shout-out to Jay Yazdian. He’s been our doctor for years and I’m pretty sure he’s a wizard with his uncanny ability to always pin point exactly what’s wrong and what will help. Much love doctor jay. Medical One Moorabbin is a great clinic. I've been a client of Dr Jay Yazdian for over 5 years and he is always a terrific listener and is great with the whole family. The clinic staff, and nurses are always very kind and helpful. I have experienced professional advice in every appointment.

She is always patient and goes the extra mile to ensure that your health is considered from a holistic perspective. I’ve been going here for years and would highly recommend it. I see Dr Lucy who is amazing! She is very thorough and has a calming, kind manner that puts me at ease instantly. She is super respectful to my needs and I never feel rushed in an appointment. Dr Lucy looks after my husband and children as well and they all love her.

Medical one Moorabbin has always been accommodating to me and my family. The front staff are always easy to talk to. Dr Jay we have adopted as our family doctor as my husband first saw him and the treatment he got given was very effective and helped him in a few days. Then me and my son started seeing dr jay, he always goes through all the options with us and we have never had a bad experience, he’s always managed to hit the nail on the head with our medical issues, and always reassures me when I get health related anxiety.

Medical One is my regular GP centre. Dr Bessie George is excellent and very knowledgeable who cares for her patients very deeply. The reception staff are wonderful and always accommodating.

MedOne were able to slot me in at short notice on a Saturday. Dr Bessie was excellent, able to diagnose and prescribe. Very personable and genuinely interested in patient health.

They seem really committed to getting eveyone vaccinated. I went in with a wrong appointment late in the day. Was very busy but only too happy to accommodate me and get me vaccinated that day. Highly recommend!

I've been attending medical one for years and have always been happy. Dr Lucy is exceptional and takes care of me and my daughter's. She makes sure she goes through all my concerns and doesn't dismiss anything. She is beautiful with my young daughters too, so patient with them. On occasion I've seen other doctors and always been happy with the level of care from them as well.

I have been a patient at Medical One for many years. I am happy to recommend this clinic. The reception staff are efficient, friendly and most helpful. The doctors are professional and caring. My doctor now is Dr Jay Yazdian. He is very thorough and professional and a pleasure to deal with. I have no hesitation in recommending him.

We have been seeing Dr Lucy Ryan for years now. Dr Lucy is brilliant, one of the best doctors you can wish for. All other staff at the medical centre are also exceptional. Highly recommend Medical One Moorabbin.

It’s easy to find a doctor as there’s a lot of them. Staff and doctors are friendly. Quiet on Sunday morning but fee is larger! I see Dr Coull who is cool and he’s very easy to chat to. I’m happy to see any doctor here though if he’s not available. I’ve been coming here for years. Plenty of parking.

Dr Jay Yazdian has been my GP for 7 years and I can say he is one of the best doctors I have ever had. Great bed side manners, old enough to be knowledgeable but also young enough to continue to be relevant and a good researcher of new methods and treatments in medicine. He treats my whole family and I feel very lucky to have found him in Australia. The clinic staff is polite and courteous and I have also had all my Covid-19 vaccines done with them.

Great service! I walked in here asking where the nearest medical clinic was and they were able to point me in the right direction, directly at the floor, because they ARE the medical clinic! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and I have definitely made a note of their location and contact details in the event I should I require medical advice in the future :)

My GP has the clock ticking so loud I can hear it. My words are not heard. I have already been put in a neat box. No relationshjp exists There's.no continuity of care. Is she not.paid enough? Am I not worth any effort? Very saddening. I am left adrift
