Excellent reviews took me there. We drove 20mins from New Castle to there and I would say Brian is really helpful with the order. We were not disappointed at his recommendation. Curry was appalling way too spicy and not enjoyable at all. i woke up this morning with explosive diarrhoea and this was the only thing that could of caused it. the chicken was hardly cooked at all and was pink in the middle and too hard on the outside.

Great food and a great welcome from Brian the owner. He can remember names and people's orders and is always happy and friendly. Please try this place once and you'll never go anywhere else again.

Not visited in about 5 years… quality of food not what it used to be… honey/chilli beef could put ya nanas windows oot and make a honey bee puke and salt/chilli chips were suffering severe anaemia…And where the hell was Brian!?

Would usually order from a different local Chinese, let's call them rainy house. Will definitely be coming here in future, friendly and efficient service. Amazing food, and great portions. 10/10.

Would not go anywhere else , Brian's has been my take away of choice for over 20 years and they never let me down

It seems like their fried rice was overcooked and old - the rice was all bunched up and looked a bit orange although the egg seemed fine. Ribs were alright although I feel they were a bit too hard to bite into and had a higher ratio of bone-meat than most Chinese takeaways do, such as MasterChef.

Brian is a great guy and very pleasant and cheerful, as always, always good atmosphere and great food fast service when not busy though understandable given 100% service everytine

Brian offers a level of service 2nd to none. A true legend. No drop in standards since last review. We are never disappointed love it here and will keep returning to this local favourite. Everybody knows Brian and Brian knows everybody.

Best Chinese take away around. Super tasty. Only downside is you have to wait a while because its super popular. I drive passed other Chinese take aways to go to this one.

Brian is The Man and his food has never been poor. Ever. It's cash only and no delivery but we come back cos we know he and the staff get it done without skimping anywhere.
