Had their Friday Fish Special was great, homemade rolls great too, excellent service in an old fashioned mom n pops style diner, small but awesome little restaraunt

I was waiting for my vehicle to be serviced, so I walked over to this restaurant. Many times, people will avoid an establishment when the exterior of the business doesn't look very inviting. I've found that most of the time, places that are termed "hole in the wall" restaurants often have some of the best food. The service was phenomenal and the waitress was very attentive and pleasant. Even people working in the back greeted you and inquired about how you were doing. This is a mom and pop type of restaurant and the food is made to order. Freshly baked bread was on the countertop, and I saw fresh produce being taken out of the refrigerator. The food was very good and had a home cooked taste to it. Very happy that I tried this restaurant. It's not fancy and the interior looks like something out of the 1960s or '70s but I personally enjoy that Hometown feel and love hearing customers speaking to the Cook and the workers as if their family members.

There was a whole artery in my roast beef not just one, but two or three big ones. It was disgusting. The fries tasted like someone had spilled Windex in them and were cold when brought out. This place is also very dirty and unsanitary.

Phenomenal place ! Food, prices, atmosphere ! This is an old-school type of place. Brings me back to a lot of restaurants of yesteryear. To a time when things were ... less volatile.

It a great place for honesty learning cooking . Friendly staff and people around you. It's old fashioned . Best Navy beans around for Mike's. Awesome biscuits and gravy . Try it you will ❤️ it

If you want a good breakfast with good people, this is absolutely the place to do it. Homemade, hometown cooking makes this spot feel like home away from home. You can smell it from a mile away and when I walked in, I immediately felt better about my day. The breakfast I had was darned good, the coffee is warm and delicious, and the lady was even super nice to me and every other guest that walked in (even this incredibly rude, grumpy old man who sat across from me). Long story short, if you give it a shot, you'll fall in love, and make it a regular thing, guaranteed. 😁🙂

I highly recommend Swedes for all your catering needs. The food was exceptional and all our guests raved about it. The servers were so friendly and accommodating, a very nice addition to the service we received. Thanks again!

Very nice gem along M43 that's worth the stop. We had the burger special, one of the best burgers we've had in years.

If you like good old fashioned home cooking, meatloaf, cod dinners, hot roast beef sandwiches and the best pancakes for a more than fair price this is your place. Sure the place is run down and the door doesn’t shut all the way. Service is always excellent, homemade mashed potatoes and bread. You’ll feel welcome when you walk in. Give it a try been coming here for years.

Love the breakfast & country setting but not real pretty to look at , no recent updates or renovation done in over 20 yrs ;(

Swede’s handled my dad’s luncheon post funeral, they took care of everything, including centerpieces for tables. Highly recommend for any event!
