My
experience
at
this
particular
casino
is
simply
okay.
Before
the
pandemic,
you
could
walk
in
here
and
leave
with
a
comfortable
amount
of
money.
This
week
I
stayed
at
the
Greektown
Casino
hotel.
I
went
downstairs
to
the
casino
about
three
times
(each
time
on
different
days
&
hours).
Just
to
get
a
feel
for
the
environment.
I
did
not
spend
much
however,
each
time
I
left,
I
simply
broke
even.
That's
great
for
me
however,
listening
to
the
horror
stories
of
other
people
around
me.....
these
machines
simply
were
not
paying
out.
One
annoying
fact
that
my
party
and
I
noticed
was
majority
of
the
machine
volume
controls
were
broken.
Therefore,
many
of
the
machines
were
extremely
loud.
They
made
sounds
even
if
the
machine
awarded
3
cents.
We
determined
that
it
was
to
fool
people
nearby
into
thinking
the
machines
were
paying
big.
It's
still
a
good
place
due
to
most
of
the
restaurants
being
open.
I
love
the
fact
it's
now
completely
smoke
free
(they
do
have
an
outside
patio
for
smokers).
In
addition,
I
did
not
notice
any
special
disinfection
protocols
in
place.
A
lot
of
the
machines
had
trash
around
them,
used
napkins,
drinks
etc.
Overall,
it
was
an
okay
experience.
A
ton
of
attractions
are
nearby
and
everything
is
in
walking
distance.
Therefore,
if
you
get
bored
at
the
casino
you
can
easily
go
somewhere
else
downtown.
F.Y.I-
the
only
two
machines
that
were
paying
out
(each
time
I
visited)
was
Cleopatra
and
Wonder
Woman.
The
hotel
was
a
good
experience.
The
only
issue
we
had
was
loud
neighbors
next
door.
They
remodeled
the
rooms
and
they
are
very
tiny.
You
barely
have
any
place
to
put
all
of
your
things.
Double
nightstands
in
the
room
have
vanished
so
be
prepared.
We
were
unable
to
fit
our
suitcase
inside
the
tiny
wardrobe.
On
the
other
hand,
the
views
were
spectacular.
We
were
on
the
23rd
floor
and
we
kept
the
window
open
at
night
because
it
was
just
so
beautiful.
