The staff was nice. I am disappointed by the advertising though. It stated there was breakfast and service like it was a regular nice hotel. Instead it was, God bless them, for people who were down on their luck and had no where to call home. At least 90%. It crossed my mind if we would be safe. They did not clean the room but once a week, so it wasn't cleaned at all during our 5 days. The toilet was dirty and I had to clean it again. You have to get your own towels from downstairs. Breakfast was muffins and granola bars. Other guests smoked weed and cigarettes in their rooms which came through our vents, so my throat was sore. Our neighbors were arguing, yelling and cursing all night...3 nights in a row, which you could hear through the walls. The electricity went out in the middle of the night. They had ants. A lady bless her soul had to be put out with her dog. All her stuff just thrown on the grass. I was sad to see her in that position. We stayed for 5 days and of course paid months ago so we had to stay. Not to mention as soon as we got there a lady was upset at the front desk about a refund. I know they won't and can't say all these things while advertising. The manager literally gave us a run down as soon as we walked in because he knew we would not be expecting the conditions and service. For that kind of money per night, I will never go there again and I don't recommend it.

Extended stay @harbor gateway had a rude and ignorant manager on duty 9/30/2023 around 3pm. Upon arrival I find that "breakfast" is Danish and oatmeal served from a cabinet. I go to my room and it had not been cleaned. The response was "they have more than one room to clean". Cancelled my rez and kicked rocks!!! Hats off to the young lady at the register in spite of her boss she was great!

I made a reservation for a suite over 1 month ago. I called their main reservations a day before and they confirm my reservation. I get there and the front office tells me that they do not have my room. She was nice enough to call other EXA in the area and none have a suite. I called the reservations again and I was upset and told the non native English speaker my story and asked her to find me a room, she said no, that she cannot make a room, I just lost it and told her that I need any room and that was not professional, she hung up on me. I called back and told another agent what she did and he said he would pass on my call to another department. So, I wait again to speak to someone else, when I did and told that agent I needed them to get me a room and would like some discount on a room, he said he would transfer me to reservations. I hung up. I spend one hour dealing with them and they did not help me at all. It was the worst experience ever with a hotel service. They lost my business. Never again would I seek their service and I will let my friends how non caring they were.

Absolutely disgusting hotel please avoid. This hotel only caters to basically homeless people who have been evicted from homes the rooms wreak of smoke so badly we had to keep windows open at night just to breathe and we further checked out early because of the absolute filthiness of the hotel. Since most guests are homeless and staying there long term there is no housekeeping or monitoring of what guests do in their rooms aka smoke etc. Fire alarms also constantly going off in morning. Cockaroaches and ants also hence need for raid disks. This is not a hotel this is a halfway house for evicted people with no homes, beware.

I will open by saying this wasn’t a first choice. Due to an event in LA and my being sick I needed a place to stay at the last minute and this was the only one available. It’s more for long staying guests or people in transition between housing or moving. Clientele was mixed and it wasn’t in the most convenient of neighborhoods. Located in the warehouse area there is a Walmart just behind but they sell no fresh produce or prepared food, unlike many I’ve visited so it wasn’t as convenient as I’d been led to believe. The room was a good size and contains a fridge and cooking facilities and there is laundry on-site in the form of machines. Front desk staff were helpful but the signs to avoid leaving any valuables in the room were very clear so perhaps safety is a concern although with covid I think, many hotels aren’t doing cleaning services anyway at present although again the sign on the door suggests strongly to lock and deadbolt the door. I don’t think I’d stay again to be honest but I can’t say there was any problem while I stayed.

I had to move out of my house to tent for termites. Because I had pets, I decided to stay at Extended. It is a modest hotel, but considering the price I paid, it was clean and convenient. There were plenty of parking spaces, and the front desk staffs were informative and friendly. There were two young astray cats in the parking lot behind the hotel. The black cat seemed almost blind. The other brown one was always watching over the black cat. I gave them food and water. But shortly after, a cleaning member cleaned it away. It is a pet-friendly hotel, so if they could provide a little food and water with love to those cats, that would be kind. Astray cats have a lifespan that is only a quarter of that of indoor cats.

✋️ Every Great business starts with great management. The Manger at this specific establishment is racist, and will discriminate against anyone other than white. I was impulsively judged by this man due to him taking my personal matters personal. His retaliation towards me did not have or has any explanation. Legal action will be taken. Get rid of him. I am reporting this location.

The customer service was very poor and a mean spanish lady charge me for something stupid. Workers have to realize without customers they don't have a job and we are decent enough not to cause a scene. The works watch the guest like they are bad people. I don't know what type of guess they always have their but the customer service at the counter is bad. The lady show me angry face. She was Hispanic. I was planning to extended but not at this location. They make me feel terrible. Same on you extended stay harbourway location.

Disappointing Stay: Roach Problem and Unhelpful Staff During my stay from July 19-22, I encountered roaches in my room. When I informed the male staff at the front desk, they were uninterested in resolving the issue, citing our booking through Expedia. Expedia's attempt to address the problem with Vicky (the other front desk staff member) proved fruitless, as they denied any knowledge of roaches. Overall, a disappointing experience.

Book 3 rooms with 2 double beds in each room. I have 6 men staying the night and confirmed my reservation that each room would have 2 beds. When my men arrived they had only 1 single bed in each room. I attempted to call the front desk to get this corrected and continually got transfer to the corporate 1-800 excuses number. We have stayed at this location specifically several time. We had 3 men sleeping on the floor. The hotel had no solutions. Pathetic!

Absolutely terrible experience at this hotel, they surprised me and said they had to move me between hotels randomly in the middle of my stay, and could not even book me into their own replacement hotel midway through my stay. I had to pack up all my bags, move hotels, and the replacement hotel could not even book me in! Incompetent company, stay at Best Western Long term rentals. Extended hotel stay hotels also have cockroaches...... AND THERE WERE ANTS CRAWLING ON MY BAGS IN THE NEW HOTEL...... HORRIBLE HOTEL!

The staff is excellent and the rooms are quiet. The rooms are super clean overall but a little run down. There's a slight smell to the room and the fridge. Nothing major. Overall good experience!

Night-time staff was great. The morning staff was extremely rude as I had to checkout late. I probably won’t be returning, because of this.

This place is a dump. Our room was dirty, looked like it was not vacuumed. The tub has a ring of filth, the bathroom counter is not clean. Rooms are rough and the lobby looks run down.

Excellent Service. Marcus and Vicky are very kind, caring, and enjoy helping customers. So I was very pleased and look forward to coming back. No issues with the room. Accomodations were fine.

Shawntay, and all the staff here is extremely helpful with all your needs , and very accommodating, you definitely should stay here. Great prices, close to stores , restaurants, and all your needs. I would definitely come back to stay. My only complaint is, that the bed is a little to hard. Other than that, it’s really a nice place to stay in.

Poor customer service and has tendency to overbooked. Expensive for a 2 star hotel. Doesn’t value customer. Photos are edited to look nice.

Don't expect too much from this hotel. It has most of the necessities, but that's it. The pros: it's clean, the bed is comfortable, and has a kitchenette. Cons: it's dated, the walls are thin, the breakfast is a mere coffee and muffin, and the shower pressure is weak. I don't expect to stay on an Extended Stay again.

Arrived at 3:30pm. Room wasn't ready even though check-in was at 3:00pm. Hotel has no lobby or waiting area, so had to stand around waiting for the room to be ready. The hotel itself needs upgrading since it looks very dark and outdated. The area behind the front desk was messy. The room itself was mostly clean, but there were hair strands on the bathroom door and ceiling. The bathroom sink and tub were clean but have definitely seen better days. The furniture needs to be replaced as it had chips and fraying. Charging $5-$10 extra for basic housekeeping is ridiculous. The free breakfast was meh- just coffee and tea with store-bought muffins. Noise levels were ok, the free wifi was acceptable for basic streaming, and the a/c worked well. I did appreciate the person that checked us in, Jennifer, for comping our first night because the room wasn't ready on time. I also liked the free parking and the presence of a security guard. Overall, I wouldn't stay here again unless it was absolutely necessary and as a last resort. Definitely not my first choice neither for a hotel nor even an Extended Stay Hotel in the area.

Decent. Price was a little high considering they have no gym, pool or breakfast included. Room was basic cleaned. Found a few hairs on washcloths and under sheets. Parking is good and the security guards are helpful. The Door slamming all night was a bit noisy. I would stay here again only If I really had to. Lots of food places nearby within walking distance .

I would give a negative 1 if I had the option. If you’re checking in after hours it’s a big hassle. Also the rooms don’t look clean and there’s a stench you smell getting off the elevator in the hallway.

I am on the fence about thus subject. When I left the hotel I loaded my luggage and belongings in the back of my truck to return the luggage cart so others could use it as the hotel only has one luggage cart. (Strange being as large of a facility and being a chain run corporation) I had my truck parked two parking stalls away from the security booth and then drove home. Upon arriving at home not stopping anywhere along the way I realized my backpack that I had a pair of shoes in along with numerous other items and a plastic target bag that had a bottle of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a bottle of hand soap which I had just purchased for the trip in it were missing. Both items entirely too heavy to have blown out of the back while I drove three miles to my house that is under construction. I called the hotel and they said that the maid found nothing in the room. So I will let you come up with your own conclusion as to what happened to my two bags.

The store manager Victor Is the most arrogant disrespectful human being. A small man with power it is self-destruction he refused to give me clean towels and toilet paper. I lost my job in the year of 2020 due to covid-19 pandemic like 85% of others Americans. Victor humiliated me embarrass me in front of the staffs... very unprofessional this hotel is corrupt at its core..😑 because of the supervisor here I encourage everyone do not come to this hotel these people is negative . He refused to give me clean towels my room caught on fire due to the socket and the employees laughed at me I never felt so humiliated in my life. And now we going to court I am an entrepreneur I created a business I'm a fashion designer all of my product my materials caught on fire and destroyed my hard work went up in flames 😩😟😥 and he refused to give me the number to the insurance policy this man is wicked. Corrupt and mean if this can happen to me it will happen to you. This is a warning thank you for reading. God bless you

There is a woman named purple that works there she will hook you up with whatever you need she was very attentive they supposedly have breakfast from 9 to 11 when I told her that they don't really be putting good food out there she gave me a whole box of food. There is a guy named Marcus there that is absolutely rude his customer service sucks if you have any questions or want to do service do not go to him at all on the second floor in the room that I was in 212 smells like mildew and pee I believe that it's in the carpet when you go there ask for room 129 it was more clean and had no smell and a little bit bigger than the other room on the second floor. The location is good you're by Walmart Carl's Jr Taco Bell a car wash place there is a food truck that stays open till 3 a.m. they are absolutely good and reasonable as far as the hotel I would never booked here again when it's time to check out they're very rude and they don't give you enough time to get your stuff to leave they basically harass you and I think that that is unnecessary especially if you have a lot of things in the room if you do not leave the room about their 12 they charge a fee every 10 to 15 minutes so make sure you check out at 11 a.m.

Wish shampoo/conditioner/body wash was offered in the rooms. Me and my wife had a decent stay at this location however what made our visit comforting was the excellent customer service from the front desk. Marcus really went above and beyond for us. Thank you Marcus!
