The room had a door cutout so the bathroom door didnt hit the toilet. Cant make this stuff up. Black mold everywhere. This place will try to scam you. They didnt let me look at the room first. After looking at it I noticed the place was disgusting and tried to get my money back but they would not give me a refund even though it clearly states fully refundable. If you want to hang out with mold, roaches and the cali cartel this is the place for you!

This might be what a white collar prison looks and feels like! The only sea near here is the pool and the rock (Sea Rock) would be the brain of the person that did the outfitting of these rooms. Let me start with all the things this room does not have: drinking glasses, a chair for the desk, art/decorations, lamps, hangers, a closet, a hair dryer, a clock/alarm, a tub stopper, a coffee maker, and more. Calling this a hotel is the biggest misstatement I have ever seen related to a room for rent. Motel might be a stretch. The area is a little sketchy but the parking, at least, was easy and there are a lot of amenities nearby. There is absolutely No Hospitality provided by the hotel operator. I think I got ripped off on the price I paid, which with fees and taxes was $125 a night for a Monday and Tuesday. This was one of the most, if not the most, unpleasant Motel stays that I've ever had and I stayed in a lot of sketchy places during ten years on the road. Thank God the beds were usable but the other shortcomings overshadowed anything positive about the motel. I even sent a message to the motel operator asking if we could get a chair for the desk, as some pictures show them, but the request fell on deaf ears. Stay anywhere else, probably for less money, or find a decent hotel for this money and you'll be a lot happier.

Room was very clean and neat the bathroom was large the only problem I had is we got there a little bit early the guy wanted to charge us $25 to check in early I thought that was kind of like a rip off but the two hours prior to that we went down to the beach with my family and we had a great time but just for to stay I would suggest this place I mean not so fancy on the outside but inside it was nice and the service was good so that's all that matters yes I would recommend this place for housing on a short stay. convenience and cleanliness yes but far as beautification outside not really

Sea Rock Inn is a surprisingly nice, well-kept place with large, orderly rooms and various appliances, such as a refrigerator, microwave, iron and so on. There's a vat of shampoo, everything you need, including the requisite tapete, that towel intended to keep a person with wet feet from sliding and crashing to earth. WiFi is excellent. The only thing you'll miss are more plugs, outlets anywhere near the bed. There are restaurants very near and a 7-Eleven a block away. This place is on routes of several transit buses, including the 171 and 175 buses to the VA hospital not far away.

It may not look like much on the outside, but it's everything we needed inside! Clean, comfy, and quiet. Nice sized bathroom and the best part? We were a family of 5 and were able to get a room with 2 queen beds and a separate bedroom with another queen! Our new go to in Long Beach!

Three stars because despite all of its shortcomings, and room rates that weren’t quite merited, there were no bugs in room 116 and the cars weren’t vandalized over night. The place was a bit noisy in the night (people can be heard talking). The room was the most basic I ever seen - no pictures on the wall, no chair for the desk, no closet. Only soap and shampoo from a dispenser (I always bring my own but still). The ironing board and iron were grimy, the curtains were too. The bed was comfortable enough and they provided two whole pillows. They charged an extra $15 for the second car we had even tho there were plenty of open parking spots. The furniture was cracked in places - you get the picture. It’s the bare bones basic not so clean but ok for a stop over for one night kind of place.

Hotel staff was nice to work with. When there was a group of guys blasting their music management came out and said this isn't the place for that. Rooms were super clean. The only thing is, the pool closed at 8pm. Other than that, it was awesome.

Leaving this review to boost their overall rating because they are a GREAT spot for the area! This is the Inn you want to stay in for cheap with several people (we had 5) in the area. So clean! Newly refurnished with nice looking furniture, huge bathrooms! Pool was freezing but played for a minute anyhow! Allowed us to check in early for a fee but it made our day so much better. Thank you Sea Rock Inn!

My family & I stayed here for 2 days & we could not wait to get out. You guys should change that H for an M cuz this dump is just like a cheap motel. We never got our sheets changed while we were there even though we told the staff and did not leave a “ do not disturb” sign on the door. The lady that checked us in was so rude. The bed sheets had stains and stunk like they were left wet for a long time. The towels that were weirdly changed had stains & the nasty curtain in the shower was made out of cloth so it got all wet. On top of that the water kept falling out on to the floor after anyone showered. We will never come back to this place again. The only good thing is that is was in a good location.

My dgt and I stayed here recently and I need to commend the staff for their kindness and empathy they showed to me. Our last day on a 3 day cruise I came down with horrible, horrible food poisoning from eating seafood on shore. My dgt contacted the motel and asked if we could check in early so I could go to bed. She explained what happened and they graciously allowed us to check in at 10am, otherwise we would have to drive around until check in time. Yes, the room was not fancy but it was very clean. We had plenty of hot water and parking was not a problem. I will be always grateful for their kindness, BTW I'm 70yrs old. Thank you.

The staff was super friendly and accommodating! Super walkable location with good food right next door! I chose this hotel because it was only a 9 minute walk from the iconic Alex's bar!

It was ok. I’ve been in worse and better. The staff was polite and the check-in and check-out process was quick and easy. Free WiFi with your stay. The bathroom was the only thing that was dirty… there was mold in shower that could have easily been cleaned and was quite obvious. They were polite. The pool was small but deep, 8 feet at the end. It kinda felt like a salt water pool…The property was well maintained. It was quiet except for the last day, neighbors were loud and arguing loud enough to hear their whole conversation. Overall I would stay again. It’s centrally located to food, shops, 9 minutes away from the beach. I did inform the front desk about the moldy shower. He apologized and sent someone in immediately to start the cleaning process.

Place is fine, but the beds are the hardest beds we've ever experienced, and they only give two small pillows. Had to buy mattress pad from Walmart to be able to sleep.

Pros: I don’t want to actually say any because the cons outweigh the pros. Cons: 1.) The parking lot is bad and there is not enough parking. I had to park a quarter-mile away in a neighborhood and walk in the dark. I was terrified my car was going to be broken in to. If it was, how would I know? My car was a quarter mile away… I didn’t even go on a holiday weekend. Imagine how bad the parking is then? You may have to park up to a half mile away. 2.) The curtains let in a bunch of light. If you wake up easily from the light, you’re going to have to wake up at sunrise. 3.) When you check in, they make you sign a piece of paper saying you won’t post a review without the manager’s permission. So… The owners know this place has problems and are trying to stop people from sharing that information. I post this review because they have no legal standing to enforce that and I definitely won’t stay again.

Wish i could give it even less stars!! Hotel has roaches and ants. Tubs are very slippery!!! Asked them for a non slip pad they laughed. The old man is very creepy to wife he talked to her very inappropriately we took pictures and video’d everything just doing for them to add non slip pads to all the tubs to save them from a future lawsuit. The old man laughed. Very poor customer service. Beds weren’t horrible but definitely needs pest control and better management!!!!

Just suggestions for owners. The smell of pins sol is strong. So I would suggest vinegar and hot water it's better smelling. The floor is in desperate repair it gives when you walk. Rm 203. Hard beds, but I slept ok. Yes it is an older hotel. Also, so there are no hard in the bed, I would have services wear hair nets. So their hair doesn't fall in the bed when they clean. Oh and sorry the toilet didn't flush so it needs to be flushed.

STAFF WAS SUPER NICE BUT ! IN MY OPINION IT WASNT UP TO PAR AS IT SHOULD & COULD BE. BUT FROM WHAT I CAN TELL THE OWNER TAKES PRIDE IN HIS ESTABLISHMENT SO WHO KNOWS WHATS TO COME. OH AND THEY HAVE THE CUTEST POOL WHICH WAS VERY CLEAN AND A NICE SITE MIGHT I SAY.(DONT Forget Your SwimSuits) All IN ALL IT WAS A PEACEFUL STAY AND EVERYTHING WORKED. Please Update Rooms Please PROPERTY HAS SO MUCH POTENTIAL

Beware: I used my credit card to book a room in advance and the next day my credit card number was being used to make purchases in the LA area. I hadn't made any other credit card purchases in the past few weeks and it happened right after I made the booking on their website. I also dont live in the state. Whoever was on the phone was incredibly rude when I called them. I had to freeze my credit and get a new card because of this place!

This is a very expensive subpar hotel. The towels were rough and dirty. The bed sheets had hair and stains on them. There’s no closet space. There’s no power outlets by the bed. There’s no chair to sit on.

Whatever you do DO NOT COME TO THIS DIRTY HOTEL! They will find any reason and lie to keep your deposit. I stayed for one night for a funeral and before I leave I made sure everything was good and they said that i broke a plastic cheap shower soap dispenser which is worth like less than 10 bucks and did not give me my 100 dollars deposit back!.The lady was very rude when I checked it. Find yourself another nicer hotel. They have bugs here.🤢

The pictures posted online are completely photoshopped. The room was musty and dirty, the bathroom looks nothing like the pictures. The door was actually cut because the toilet stuck out too close to it and could not open or close without a gaping hole in the bathroom door, which also did not lock!
