Pets welcomed! And grass area provided for pet needs. Rooms were nice and spacious. I appreciated sparkling Clean shower and toilet area. The sheets and towels were clean and white, and extra towels were freely given upon request. The sink clogged and the Toilet backed up, but staff quickly provided a plunger so we were not inconvienced. The Only minor issue was when the Manager complained, incorrectly, that we used towels for cleaning and thus, soiled them. She was annoyingly, insistent, even when we suggested she had the wrong room. It was the only, small, downer to an otherwise really good 2 night stay. I rate 4 stars. It would have been 5 but minus 1 for the manager not believing us.

*STAY AWAY* The WORST hotel experience up to date. Stayed in room 221 and it smelled like a smoker’s room. Cigarette smell penetrated the room and came out the AC as well. Very hard to breathe and sleep, pretty sure I got second hand smoke cancer. Not even one hour in and a roach was crawling next to the bed. Floors are disgusting, had to wear shoes at all times. Yellow stain in one of the pillows. Thank goodness I brought my own blankets, because there is no way I could use the ones provided. No fridge, no microwave, no iron, no shampoo, nothing. This hotel provides the BARE minimum. Never again.

Accepts all people! Pets and kids, too! Front desk and housekeeping staff here are very friendly and accommodating. Just off 110. Some rooms are roughed up; laminate floors are still much cleaner than gross carpeted competitors at the same rates! Private, parking, grocery/gas on the block. I have seen them spray for bugs when some people checked out; probably necessary, and reason for the strong smell in some rooms. However, I have seen not one bug of any kind. I do clean my room 😉

I have enjoyed it and since I have cat's, I have not been able able to get the room cleaned. I have asked for the help and support of getting towels and things like that. But they don't reply. That's all I know to complain about. I'm recovering from getting Hit by a car. But everything else is fine.the maids are rude, but all and all, it's been a good stay. The Staff needs to be much more nice to the guests. Thank you and I will be looking a forward to staying again since I am traveling to northern California. My name is Rhonda Patton, but I Lost my wallet, so Tom Lavender got my room. But I am the customer, and I hope you will be able to help me with my travel plans, as I will be needing a place from here to Eureka CA. Thanks for your help.

The room was clean and that's about the end of anything good about this motel. Really bad location and no security. Druggies and homeless people constantly bugging you everywhere you walk around the grounds of the motel. My room was in the back within about a hundred feet of a homeless encampment. They had mangy barking dogs that barked all night hard to sleep. The tv was totally useless constantly froze and picture complete scrambled, unwatchable. Lamp light bulb at the desk in the room was burnt out could hardly see to do my work and a room with one double bed is very, very small. Felt like being in a tiny RV. Nowhere near worth the money they got off me for the room around $90... the conditions were more what you would expect for a $29.99 room. Stay away for your own safety this place and it's location is really dangerous. I was so glad I was with my wife at the time and she didn't have to stay there on her own. I love motel 6, stayed and many, never experienced any like this one.

A++ Was very comfortable, very happy. Rooms were exceptionally clean. Was a little worried about bed bugs because I hear so many rumors about them in Hotel rooms. But there were no problems with that. So you will be seeing me again and again. Price for room was perfect with military discount. A++ once again (thank you)

I chose this place because of the price. And I got what I paid for. The service (front desk) was amazing. She was sweet and great. The room was sub-par. Sheets felt unsanitized, but still clean. The room was just descent. Wasn't the cleanest, but wasn't filthy. There were items that seemed to not have been replaced or washed, sheets, towels felt like it hasn't been washed, though not used. Just didn't smell fresh. But I understand, I got what I paid for.

Motel6 Harbor City is the place to stay! It’s clean and staff is really nice. They make you feel comfortable while staying there. Rosa the manager is nice and if anything goes wrong she’s there to take care of it. She’ll go out of her way. Stacy and Melda work in the office and they are always nice and cheerful. Always ready and willing to help.. All staff is great. We’ll be back..

This is a good motel 6 . All of the staff and maids are friendly and respectful. The rooms are fairly clean. Only reason i give it 4 stars is because im only given 2-3 towels a day . They seem to never have enough. And a mini fridge would be good . Overall still a nice motel 6

Nice place. Had no issues with the cleanliness and they had hard wood floors which is a big plus for me. The staff was kind and helpful. They're pretty stingy with the towels though and they have no washer and dryer. Overall a nice relatively affordable stay.

It was the worst smelling Motel 6 room I had ever stayed in. No amount of disinfectant spray could hide the putrid odor of both rooms I stayed in. In fact, the excessive use of deodorizing sprays felt toxic. I had to sleep with the windows open (next to the 110 freeway) with the fan blasted in order to dissipate the stench as best as possible. It's obvious that previous occupants had been staying there weeks on end - smoking. The left over rancid stink typical of the homeless remained while mixed with the toxic fumes of Fabuloso cleaner. It was a nightmare. I payed for 3 nights but only stayed for 2. I could not bear it. I came to Torrance for business reasons. If not preoccupied with my business matters, I would have taken the time to find another motel/hotel. The front desk manager was dismissive of my concerns but could not deny the bad smell of both rooms I stayed in. Someone from corporate MUST visit this branch and smell for themselves. I'm tempted to notify a local public health agency to inspect this facility.

The location is good it's right off the 110 freeway. The person at the front that desk was nice and helpful. Even though I asked for a nonsmoking room. The room I was given had a heavy odor of cigarette. I wasn't happy with the room. It was very small to the point where my friend and I had to wait for one of us to walk by either to the best, sink or bathroom because we both wouldn't fit walking at the same time. I as long found woman's hair in the shower and on the floor.

I was thoroughly pleased with the great service I received from the front desk lady helping me out. When I wasn't able to get a room for the night at the Super 8, Motel 6 was very accommodating, especially since it was late at night and was in search for a vacant motel to stay the night. I was able to get a non-smoking room, after I called the front desk several times with questions, and she was able to answer all my questions. I was satisfied with the overall experience.

Well, I've been to a few Motel 6 in the last few months and they're all pretty ghetto. You always have some "grimey" people. The room I got had a full size bed.. Really wish it was at least a queen. I do love that they allow pets.

My experience was horrible! I checked in Thursday night, 10/22/2020. I could not sleep in the bed and did not realize it was infested with bed bugs until over into the night when I attempted to go to sleep. When I did get in the bed I itched and scratched and ended up sleeping in the chair in the room. I had an event to attend the following morning and did not make the hotel aware of the infestation until later in the day. I had bumps all over my arms and neck. Do Not Rent room 121.

The staff are great at what they do. They make sure guest are checked in fast and calls the room to make sure everything is good. Rosa the manger keeps things running smoothly as well as her staff. I recommend this motel 6 to all who visits the harber city area. Good job everyone.

Our room was beyond dirty! The sheets on the bed had stains and hair on them upon check-in. When I went immediately back downstairs to the front desk to let them know, the front desk associate just handed me sheets to put on the bed myself. I asked if someone was going to come in and clean the dead bugs and boogers off the walls and she told me that they would. I also told her that the sink was clogged up. She said someone would be on it and the issues should be resolved upon my return. I took my family to get something to eat and when we walked into the room there was no difference. Everything was still dirty. My 2 year old son sat on the bed to play with his toy car and that's when I noticed several fleas on the bed he was sitting on. So I checked the other bed while my mother was changing my 6 month old son, and there were several more fleas on that bed. I'm highly allergic to fleas and I didn't want my children to get bitten by fleas. We collected our things and checked out. The front desk clerk had a perplexed look on her face about us checking out but wasn't surprised when I told her the reason. She told us that they've been getting a lot of complaints about fleas lately and that we should be ok with just staying. I handed her the room key and just walked away because why would anyone want to stay in a flea infested hotel is beyond my level of understanding. I chose Motel 6 because I've never had an issue with a stay and the rooms that I've stayed in in San Diego were very clean, remodeled, and nice. I thought I was going to get the same experience in Los Angeles, but to my surprise it was a huge let down. I would not recommend this location to anyone! If it were possible to give a negative star rating this would be a negative 5 star and it should be shut down.
