I went to Aguanile for the music 🎶 (live 4 piece band). I ate a delicious thin sliced crispy pizza with arugula. I also drank a natural juice and a bailey's rum chocolate drink.

I'm very particular about my pizza. All pizzas are not equal. I'm also scared that a pizza not made in North America isn't going to be good. Haha boy was I wrong. This pie was amazing and fresh. We went here because this place had a good score and our original plan was closed for the day. However, as soon as we sat down we quickly regretted going in. The server was not very pleasant and looked at us as if we were a bother. When he was giving our order to the kitchen staff, they kept staring at our table from the window. Our server had gone outside so I asked the bartender for a to-go container, and we received tin foil. He then came back, but again, not a smile, the whole time he displayed an unpleasant and almost rude attitude, despite making the service mandatory. Cartagena has a lot of restaurants but Aguanile is the only one I've been back to multiple times. The food is outstanding! Lunchtimes have a very reasonably priced menu of the day with delicious meats and fish etc and great sized portions, then at night the pizzas are amazing. I even dragged myself away from the pizza one night to order the home made lasagna and it's probably the best I've ever eaten. With friendly and quick service, lively music and amazing food I 100% recommend this restaurant.

We were hopping to get a decent portion but it was more kinda entree rather than a main. Don get fool by the fence, even for me as a Colombian, it does not worth it. We had the 4 cheese pasta and it was fantastic. Several vegetarian options. The pizza seemed good and we may go back to try some. A bit pricer than you'll find at lower key places in the city center (18,000 - 40,000 CP) but nothing outrageous. They have 2x1 all day drink specials a few days a week.
