Rarely does a place check off all the boxes. Cheap, awesome Atmosphere, great service, huge portions, quick experience. But this place does it. Local food in a bustly restraunt makes for a good time. We came twice and tried all the different sides, and can agree that they were all very tasty.

A great restaurant if you want big portions of typical representative Colombian food. I had the róbalo en marinara (sea bass) which was delicious. It comes with patacones, salad and rice. My friend didn’t like the mote de queso which is a traditional soup but I thought the taste was representative. The restaurant is crowded but the food comes very quickly.

Hit it 👍🏿! This may have been the best meal I had in Cartagena. If you were looking for some authentic food at a great price then come here. Really nice big portions and a big restaurant. It was such a good experience that I regret not going again.

Local food, local prices. Service is quick, if you want to taste quality food without paying like a tourist, this is the right place, open only lunch time, better if you speak spanish or bring a translator!

I came here after several people told me this place was one of the best restaurants in Cartagena and the first thing you need to know is that this place only accepts CASH as a form of payment. This is a really busy spot but service was quick, the food was good quality and at a good price. Every plate comes with a side salad, 2 sides and the soup of the day. I would recommend trying this place at least once but i wasn’t convinced this place was one of the best restaurants in Cartagena as others had told me because i tried other local spots for much less money and it was just as good if not better. Overall i would definitely come back if i’m ever in Cartagena again.

Fish, Chicken, Stews are excellent. Amazing value for money. We went here several times for lunch and it never disappointed. On the contrary we walked out highly satisfied. The portions are huge come with three sides which you can choose from. Budget 40-50k COP for two with drinks. Highly recommended.

I’ve been to Colombia for 7 days now and this is by far the best meal I’ve had. There was so many locals so you know this place is legit. The price is very cheap, real local price and you can base it off the price of water. They changed $3,000 peso for one water. My meal entirely was around $25,000. That’s the best deal I’ve ever had for a steak. No extra hidden charges.

This place had delicious every day Colombian fair. We shared a number eight, tableau, mixed or mixed table. It came with beef, steak, pork, grilled and grilled chicken, as well as two types of sausage along with the salad plantains and rice. What a lunch! All for $12.

This is a must stop place for an authentic lunch in Cartagena! Food was delish, cheap and great quality! Fun lively atmosphere. It was cool to be able to see into the kitchen.

Recommended by our city guide and really good for fish in coconut sauce with coconut rice. A mix of locals and tourists eat here. Very good value for money. However pretty crowded, big and fast paced. Only open for lunch!

Great Colombian food for a great price. We went here everyday for lunch during our time in Cartagena. The food had a lot of taste, the meat was grilled perfectly and the juices were pretty good as well. Both the bandeja paisa and the mixed meat platter were amazing and very big portions. This place is packed with locals, which says enough. Highly recommend it.

Best spot in Cartagena for lunch. Prices are very affordable and the portions are huge. The place do gets packed daily and service could be a lot better from the waiters. By the way, they only accept cash. No credit cards accepted at this location.

This place came highly recommended by several travel blogs which is why I decided to try it, but in all honesty, this place is very overrated. The food is definitely affordable, but don't expect anything above average (flavor and quality wise). I got a steak (churrasco) that was very chewy and kinda hard to eat. Fish was dry and not super flavorful. Coconut rice lacked salt.

Very popular economical restaurant that does typical costeña food. The food was not quite 5 stars but you will not be disappointed for the price/quality ratio and the large portions.

Tasty, reasonable price restaurant, so anytime busy. However staffs work very well. Take order very quickly, serve quickly, bring a bill quickly. They know what guests want. I recommend it strongly. Important: only daytime and CASH ONLY!

Very popular restaurant visited by many locals in the city centre. Very friendly and quick service. We have been there for lunch, it was very crowded and loud, but therefore authentic. Menu offers a lot of traditional local dishes (fish and meat). Big dishes and tasty food. And they have BBC beer 👌🏻

I ate cazuela de mariscos (pot with seafood), it was served with burned rice and simple salad (just few slices of tomato and salad). And you can see clearly on the photo how it looks. I didn’t want to go to this restaurant, my ex bf actually forced me, then I didn’t want to eat the food since it is horrible, but again, he forced me to eat it. I never had cazuela de mariscos cooked in such a horrible way, that I was feeling to vomit when I ate it. Don’t recommend this place at all!
